Brown's books range from amazing to boring. Strange thing - this is the second of her books to use the word "track" instead of "truck". I wonder why she wrote the wrong word in two books and why the error wasn't caught by an editor.

Is there a sequel in the future? Carolyn does not disappoint. Another master piece. Two teens overcome the lies of their youth and allow themselves to realize that the heart knows best sometimes. If they will only listen. Love Carolyn Brown novels. Always enjoyable and captivating.

OVER THE YEARS I HAVE READ MANY OF CAROLYN BROWNS' STORIES. A BORN STORYTELLER EXTRAORDINAIRE!
I'M VERY CONFIDENT ABOUT PRAISING THIS AUTHOR, ANY, AND ALL OF THE BOOKS SHE HAS WRITTEN, INCLUDING "THAT WAY AGAIN".

Kitty and Preston had been in love when they were younger, but a bit of misinformation tore them apart. When they run into each other five years later, they both realize that their love story is not over..Can they rekindle the love they once had?

The ages of these characters kept throwing me off. At 18 and 20, the great aunt lied and then died causing harm to a budding relationship. Five years later one of them has a couple of degrees, works for the FBI, has solved many cases, and has daddy and relationship issues. The other has served in the Navy, got a degree, started a company, makes lots of money, owns property, and has relationship issues. You do learn one thing from this story and that is always get your information directly from the source--no hear say.

Normally I like Carolyn Brown's writing. It's fluffy and light, usually an easy read. This story looks like it never went to an editor. The Irish thing was so heavy handed at the end and I couldn't see why.
I'm not a fan of this one.

Kind of cloying sweet. The female in the story gives up her hard won career in a snap to bring up babies she was never sure she wanted. A lot of Irish at the end that was mentioned in passing in the beginning. Likable characters in a contrived story.
