It has been a very moving and educational experience to become involved with the characters in this series, as well as other of series by this author. The story line, historical and fictional, offers those of us interested in the slavery issues a wonderful way to go back and be a part of that history from the pages of this book. This is definitely a "feel good/feel bad" experience.

This story is continued from two previous boos. I found the story very entertaining and enjoyable to read. There wasn't much in the book I didn't already know about slavery. Some parts I found pretty hard to believe, but it was entertaining..

I was very disappointed after purchasing this book as a continuation in series to find out it was majorailly a repeat of the previous book.
That is so unfair to be charged twice for the same story. I wish there was a way to let the author know how disappointing the book was and to get my money refunded from the store. I certainly would never be interested in reading any of his series again. Readers beware!
