Yet another great read by Nicole Edwards! Sawyer is such a loyal, loving character. Chemistry between Kennedy and Sawyer is great. Bringing in updates on the rest of The Walker family is what we've come to love and expect,

Every time I read a Nicole Edwards book, it becomes my favorite one. I really looked forward to "Sawyer", due to the fact I thought he was the most interesting brother. Absolutely looking forward to "Brendon". Thank you SO much, Nicole!!

Love Nicole's books and this series. That said...this book is very disappointing. There was way too much (thought process) in this one. At least 75% of the H/h ( along with others) was all thinking of the past or what they wanted or afraid of. This drives me nuts. Although the sex scenes were hot. Expected more for Sawyer. I did like the anticipation of future relations and books that are hinted at. This is one that can be skipped if you are reading the series. Will be looking forward to next. Just hope there is more interactions and talking with each other.

This is the seventh book in the Alluring Indulgence series but, for me, Sawyer has made his way to the front of the line of Walker brothers. This story can be read as a stand-alone but you will definitely want to catch up on all the brothers after reading this sexy, funny and heartwarming addition to the set. Sawyer Walker and Kennedy Endsley have a lot of history together. Growing up in the same small town, Sawyer was a handsome popular guy even as a teenager. Kennedy, on the other hand, was a bookworm, tall and smart, and an easy target for the relentless teasing dished out by Sawyer and his friends. When Kennedy returned years later with a doctorate in veterinary medicine she was a beautiful, confident woman and had no interest in anything Sawyer had to offer. She was back eight years now and Sawyer was determined to find happiness with the elusive Kennedy – he just needed to get her to talk to him!
I loved this story! The characters, as always, are not perfect. Sawyer admitted what he and his friends did to Kennedy as teenagers was awful and Kennedy didn’t let him off the hook easily even though sixteen years had gone by since they left high school. Bullying is not something that is simply shrugged off and the issue of trust was front and center to their relationship. Their story was inter-woven with their families and catching up with all the Walkers felt like going home. So much is going on with the Walker brothers and their ever-growing family – it was great to catch up and find out what is going on with everyone. The road for Sawyer and Kennedy hit a few bumps as trust, or lack of it, cause problems along the way. True love, smoldering sex, relationship drama and everything in between are all part of life and family. This book, like the whole series, gifts us that in spades. I hope this won’t be the last we see of the Walkers – thank goodness there are more!
