This is a great short book that really helps with the agony of one losing a beloved pet. Many questions are answered here, and this book can be very helpful to necessary healing, I think. Many of us are devastated when we lose a beloved pet, and it's nice to be able to read and comprehend these most assuring words. I can certainly recommend this book!

Lots of personal opinion by the author. I liked the personal pet experiences part. I would be most likely to recommend the book to people who enjoy help with the meanings of the bible words as were intended to be understood. Also it seemed to be a little rambling.

This book has helped me cope with the recent loss of our beloved 15 year old Husky/Shepherd Mix Kiara. Being faith based I've often wondered if when we pass away, will we see our pets again. The reassuring message that God loves His creation and always keeps His promises gives me comfort that one day, God willing, we will be reunited with our pets again someday.

It's well written, cans be a little repetitive and it seems to wonder off at times from the main subject but the author ties everything together at the end of each chapter. It gave me the hope and knowledge I needed when I lost my beloved Fifi.

Truly a wonderful and healing book. Read it five years ago when I lost a dog, but gave it away to someone who needed it. Purchased the kindle version after losing my wonderful 9 year old Siberian Husky to bone cancer. The book puts my heart at ease that Yukon is being cared for. The daily devotional at the end of the book is a huge help in healing. Recommended for anyone of faith who has lost a beloved pet.

I am very pleased with the book. The condition is excellent and the book is encouraging that we will in deed be united with our wonderful animals again. I have always believed that nothing can live without having a spirit and if that spirit came from God it would surely return to Him. Still, it is very nice to read a book by a pastor who has really studied the bible about this matter and has come to that conclusion also

Instead of being an essay to prove his point, the author seems to enjoy "hearing" his own voice too much. Would have been better to make the book half its size and leave out so much of his blah blah about himself.

I am a strong Christian and was looking forward to the author's research into our pets going to heaven. It started out strange because he kept apologizing for his statements when we hadn't even begun. Then he kept saying We will get to that in another chapter...
I think the whole of his research and conclusions could have been boiled down to a simple list of scripture and a paragraph explaining each. Then in the next chapter a few warm stories of animals he has met and loved.
Like I said in the title he kept chasing his tail. He would focus on a thought and say mid way we will come back to that. hmmm is he afraid to just nail it and say this is what I believe?
Well I have done my research and it is far extensive than the author's I have come to my own conclusions that have left me with peace. His book did not do that.

As an English teacher, I think Gary Kurz apologizes way too much and should just spit out his thoughts. However, I'm willing wade through his digressions and repetitions to reach the kernel of the message. As one who is a Christian and has dearly loved my dogs who were faithful friends, I've always assumed that they would go to Heaven, and this book gives some support from the Bible. So while I'm not really a fan of Kurz' writing, I appreciate and value the connections he makes to Bible references and the explanations he makes of his ideas.

What I liked about it is the author takes passages right from the Bible that says exactly what and how God feels about all animals. I understand, though, that they can always be interpreted differently. The author makes it real easy to follow along in the Bible and also encourages it.

This is a wonderful book for anyone who has recently lost or ever lost a beloved pet - who give love to us uncondtionally. The book offers great comfort knowing one day we will meet our beloved pets again.

The perfect reading for grieving pet owner; also wonderful resource for Bible /Scripture seekers regarding Heaven and Eternity!! Highly recommend; wonderful and thoughtful gift when pet owners want to know if they will see their pets again. (With the understanding of course that the pet owner will be in Heaven)

As an evangelical Christian, I had already held the belief I would see my beloved "Dude" (a Cocker Spaniel that still had his tail) again. He wondered up to a hunting cabin in Texas on a 10,000 acre ranch starving & suffering a severe case of mainge. He was a blessing. I know God sent him to me.

I can't wait to see him again!

Encouraging and hopeful. Biblical references are a must, and this author did not skip out on any. It is clearly evident that this author wrote this book simply out of the passion for his own pets. His intent is apparent - to ease the pain of losing a beloved pet, as if it were his own.

This book was very comforting and answered many sad questions. Knowing that God created the animals before man, and that Jesus returns on a white horse, shows me that our animal friends will be in heaven with us one day. It proved to me that God values our animal friends as much as we do.

Great book. Totally based on scripture. This author did his homework( or should I say bible study). Gave me peace of mind and renewed hope of eternity. Written simply enough for anyone to understand without being a scripture scholar. Not the least bit dry or boring. It really helped me in my bereavement process for my beloved dog.

I enjoyed this book sooo much, it brought such comfort to me as I lost my best friend Nov. 2nd..She was a chihuahua she would have been 17 years old in April and I got her a 4 weeks old. I miss her so much and it hurt so bad to lose her
It was just her and I for a very long time and oh she was so spoiled by the whole family , this book helped me a lot and when I get teary eyed I think of knowing I will see her again someday, I just am glad she is not suffering anymore although it tears your heart out ..Thank you so much..

Sincerely
Jean Leach
