A One-Year Devotional Study of Women in Scripture

It was very well written. Getting to know these wonderful women of the Bible was special. How these women can help us today by what they have experienced can bring women closer to God and their personal relationship with God. Great Book!

Great for anyone interested in knowing about the good, bad and real bad women of the bible. This book is good to use while in Bible study or just to more information of historical women in biblical times.

Our Ladies' Bible Class was looking for a book to use for our Tuesday morning class. We looked at several different books, and decided on this one. We have loved it! We had just lost our previous teacher to cancer, and we all decided to step up and participate more. Each week we announce who the next teacher and subject will be. It has proven to really be a blessing. Everyone seems to have their favorite Bible woman and we have seen our ladies come forth and teach who normally would never have been in this capacity.

I received this daily devotional a few weeks ago and have greatly enjoyed every day of it. This is a perfect Monday-Friday daily devotional for people with limited to extended amount of time to spend. You can go as indepth as you want. Each week focuses on a different woman of the bible and goes into the story as told in the bible, relating it to the times of the bible and relating it to our time today. It also presents God's promises for us as seen in these stories and provides us with simple prayers to present to God. LOVE IT!!!!

This is truly a refreshing devotional; I look forward each morning to waking up and reading the stories of the ladies and spending time with God through His Word. Great book, I would definitely recommend it.

I am currently using this book for our Adult Sunday school class. It has been well received and has proven to stir many conversations. We are studying a chapter a week so this book will last us a year. It is so nice to compare their lives in Biblical times to our modern day lives. GREAT RESOURCE!

This book is wonderful for a solo or group guided study. It guides you, but allows you to draw your on conclusions. It is a wonderful study for anyone interested in learning more about the women in the bible.

Love, love, love this devotional book. I got a copy for myself a couple years ago and have given others away as gifts ever since then. I am a big fan of Ann Spangler and her ability to weave incredible beauty and depth into texts that are also easy to read and follow. The biblical history is very informative (I am a pastor and seminary grad but still learned a lot of new information about the women she presents in this book), and the spiritual application is very practical. I was sad to see this one come to an end!
