Enjoyed it while I was reading. Unfortunately it's what I consider a "fluff" book - nothing really grabs my attention to make me love it, but I enjoy it while I'm reading it. Can't say I'm interested enough to read the rest of the series....

The story line caught me and held my attention. I do have to admit that I did skim through some parts. Sexual content is there but doesn't go into the detail that 50 Shades did and is not the S&M variety. Quick read and I am curious as to what is going to happen with Jewel, her brother, and Blake (as well as Blake's brothers.

THIS BOOKS IS EXCELLENT! I started reading it last night and couldn't put it down until 2 and had to be up at 7. Finished it this evening and cannot wait until December to read the conclusion. I am going to read anything and everything that Melody Anne writes. JUST EXCELLENT!!!
Fractured (Lucian & Lia Book 2) :: Fall for Me: A Danvers Novel :: His Secretary: Undone (A Billionaire Romance) :: Fighting For You (Danvers series Book 4) :: The Complete C. S. Lewis Signature Classics

I wish I had known series meant major cliff hanger. I love Melody Anne series but I don't like reading a book that isn't finished and have to wait for the next book. The story of Jewel and Blake was a little darker than I normally read. Jewels story is heartbreaking while Blake is a chauvinistic macho man. The Madame seems no better than a jallior and all her girls are prisoners At least Blake's brother is a breath of fresh air.

Bound was not what I was expecting. Jewel was submissive in the bedroom, so to speak, but not when Blake tried to domineer her. Blake on the other hand would rule with an iron fist and than turn around and over look Jewels rebellion. It is not a bad book but need some more work done on it to compliment the Surrender series.

Truly love this story.... Realistic and at the same time a little bit as a fairy tale..... reminding me a lot of Pretty Woman ? the first story end with a clifhanger but as a bónus the second story is included.
Super nice read!

Book was much like Shades of Gray without the "f" words etc. I liked it much better because of this. It was steamy and well written. I did not want to put it down. The only thing I didn't like was the non-ending of this book. I hate that when authors do that. Of course, I will buy the sequel.

I love Melody Anne's works. Their all about finding the kind of love, we've all dreamed of, in an impossible situation. This one was quite the adventure, and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the follow up to see what happens to our heroine.

Will we ever know the entire story and what demons they both have? This was an easy but interesting read. I wanted to know more about both characters. There is a cliffhanger that I hope will be resolved in the next book.

If you have read Melanie Shawn's Surrender Series and liked it, you will like this new series. I wish I could give a 4.5 rating since my only objection is that you have to read the next book as it definitely leaves you with a cliff hanger. I don't mind series that each book stand alone so I was frustrated that I was not ready for that ending. Now I have to wait until December to find out what happens. That being said I did enjoy this story, like Rafe in the Surrender Series Blake takes a lot to like. Once in a while you see vulnerabilities and a softer side but not very often. Jewell on the other hand you instantly like her and feel horrible about why she is doing what she is. I find myself wondering what I would do in her shoes, which is tough since there is no way for me to not have any family I could turn to for help, that has got to be the scariest place to be. Would I be able to stoop to the levels so is having too, especially to get her brother back? I would love to think I would be strong and walked away but I can see why she does it. In the next book I would like to see Relinquish Control taken down and maybe find out McKenzie's story. I find myself hating the club since it honestly prays on woman who feel so far down they feel they can never make it on their own again.
Okay while it may sound like there is little I like about this series that's not true of this story. Frustrated with the reason and how things happen in it is more like it. I really am sure that's part of the emotions we as readers are supposed to get and if so Melody Anne accomplishes that in spades. I feel bad for Jewel because has really kicked her and her little brother in the teeth and of course I'm rooting for them to come out on top in the end. I even have a soft spot for Blake and his brothers, Tyler (a real soft spot for him the most, can't wait for his story) and Byron (when his story comes out I may want to let him know how disappointed I am with him and want to sweat his butt, all because he has the same name as my grandson). They went through something horrible so you have to feel bad for them but there's a point where you have to put on your big boy pants and become a man and get over it. Wallowing never will make you happy. Again I feel these are the emotions you're supposed to have, so another job well done.
I have loved Melody Anne's books since I read the first of her Billionaire Bachelor's series. I grew to love her Submit series, I wasn't too sure at first but I did love it in the end, I have a feeling I am going to love this series also. I just hate having to wait a few months before I get to read the next installment, I'm really that way with all books and movies when they leave you hanging until the next sequel. I'm just not a patient person. Fortunately for me I didn't read the Submit series until they were all out so I could read them one right after another. So now I will wait, "impatiently" cause that's who I am, for the next book.

I find books that are unfinished irritating. Although it does say book 1, I get very angry when you have to purchase another book to finish the story. The buyer should be forewarned that this book is not complete.

I love this book. Great back stories to each character. I could not put this book down. I wanted to keep going to see a happy ending. I'm hooked. But this story is not over. You need to continue to book two.

Melody Anne has seriously just killed me. I devoured this book as soon as I one-clicked it and she left me with an ending that will bother me until the next book is one-clicked too. There are so many things that I loved about this book. I loved the carry over between Melody Anne's series. Having the characters in this book know Rafe (who I love) instantly connected me with the new characters. I loved the way that Melody is able to easily make you fall in love with her characters and that her story flows together quickly and effortlessly. Bravo.....hurry up and write the next book quickly please.

But I love the female lead! A struggling young woman doing whatever it takes to take care of her little brother and keep the promise she made. Even if it means becoming a sex worker. I'll be checking out the next book soon.

Excellent book!!! I love the characters in this book, I found myself smiling and crying. You just can't do that melody anne!!! Leave me hanging, in tears, at the last page and now I have to wait 2 weeks to get more of the story.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It was entertaining and mostly believable. If you liked 50 shades of Grey you should enjoy this book also. While it leaves you hanging for the next book it is still a complete story.

Great new series!! Jewell and Blake had me from the start of the book, I couldn't put it down. The ending is a cliffhanger and it is hard waiting for book 2 in December but it will be worth it. Jewell will doing anything to get her brother back from foster care little does she know working for Relinquish Control will introduce her to Blake a man with sky high walls built around his heart. The chemistry between the two could melt the north pool but Jewell soon learns it will take a lot to break down Blake's walls. The ending is a cliffhanger and you wonder what will Blake do.

Another great book by melody anne. I haven't read anything from her that I didn't like. I'm upset that I finished the book because I want more and don't want to wait for December. I recommend that everyone reads this book.

I was drawn into the story, I liked the characters and backgrounds. There were some things in it that were hard for me after an abusive relationship it's always a fine line with romances..... I'd love to see more calmed down version
