An enjoyable continuation of the stories of the Earth women captured by the Lather. Though each book is a standalone read, it is more enjoyable to read the series from the beginning. I appreciate that there are no cliffhangers but the conclusion does leave me wondering about Jess' twin sister. I hope that Daaynal, Saal, and Xaandrill and Jenna get their stories. Ms. Carter is an excellent storyteller. You don't want to put her books down. I have a collection of Ms. Carter's books on my kindle.

I very much enjoyed Jessica in this story. She’s part of the group of military women taken to Lathar, but not actually combat personnel. She can certainly handle a weapon when needed. She is infatuated with the healer, Laarn K’Vass. It’s hard to get a read on Laarn, at first, but he soon shows his inner strengths and his adoration for his accidental mate. Their’s is a delicious love story, but not without some seriously rough spots along the way. They have quite a horrifying confrontation with the anti-human purist group. We’re left with a couple of unsettled situations, so I do hope there will be more to come in the series. Not a cliffhanger, just people I want to know more about. I voluntarily reviewed an author’s copy of this book.

Jess knows she wants Lathar healer Laarn. He is different than the warriors, his strength reflected in his scarred body - scars he received suffering every injury he can heal! What she doesn't fully understand is why she is the human guest Laarn runs the most medical tests on. Regardless of species, some guys just don't gravitate towards small talk.

Laarn's dedication to his species, and his strength as a healer made him a compelling, and intriguingly complex character. Jess on the other hand seems less focused on her species in general, and more on the people she knows and cares about.

This story is continuing an ongoing arc from previous stories, but stands well on its own, with just enough exposition to refresh my memory about the stories I read months ago, interesting characters in both the foreground and background, and some interesting plot threads introduced that have me hoping for more stories in this Universe.

I was gifted with a copy of this story, and chose to post a review.

I always find myself laughing and have the aw factor when I read Mina's books. Its always a delightfully hot story with lovable characters both the males and the females.

Warriors of the Lathar is just my kinda series and I really enjoyed this latest addition Book 5.

We all think of healers a particular way, well meet Laarn. He even thinks healers must act a certain way to be the best at his job. When he spots Jessica his mind as a mind of its own, his body thinks its should follow.

Lathar is all about the big bad and sexy males. Jess though is all about the healer, now just if he was all about her. Sassy gorgeous and love her personality.

I just loved the story. the old saying comes to mind. ~You snooze you lose~ A certain healer best get a shake up or just make miss something special.

I Voluntarily read and reviewed this book, enjoyed it and recommend it.

She went back to The Lathar! Yay! I've been waiting and I wasnt disappointed! I really loved it and I read it super fast in one sitting!

Jess has had a thing for Laarn since she's seen him. She's been quiet and kinda shy about it but she stares at him but he doesnt notice. He's pretty wrapped up in his work trying to save his people from extinction. What she doesnt realize is that he does notice her. He's got hang ups about his scars and thinks she'd never want him because of them. Idiot man. After some stolen kisses he is ordered away to battle to help out. While he's gone Jess feels unwell and tries to heal herself in his lab. What could possibly go wrong? There are those among his people are purists and dont want to taint their blood with the Terran women. Will Laarn get to Jess in time to save her and his unborn child?

Mina Carter has been one of my favorite paranormal authors and her newest release Preganant by the Alien Healer is a winner! Writing is flawless, entertaining, and so enjoyable that you will find yourself at the end of the page before you realize that the story has ended. Jessica has been trying to get the attention of Laarn K’Vass, but he believes that as the healer of his people he has too much responsibility to have a mate. Little did he know that a simple mistake will force him to show his true emotions. Will it be too little for him to do anything when the ship she's on gets invaded? Find out when you one click this must read and get ready to enter the Lathar world. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Readers Copy of this book.

Loved this story! Never expected a "virgin mary" type of story, but loved how the story played out. Great story writing, action, adventure and romance with a strong heroine and a caring, loving alpha male.

This story is one that is a pleasure to read. As soon as you begin you find yourself swept up in the story and time flies as the pages turn. The end leaves you satisfied and happy, you know they type where you heave a heavy pleasant sigh at the end when you close the book.

Totally recommend to anyone who enjoys a well-written, great sci-fi romance story!

Loved it! This is the first story in the "Warriors of the Lathar" series a I have read but after reading about 1/3 of the story I "one-clicked" the rest. This can be read as a stand-alone though. Jess wants Laarn. Laarn wants Jess but tries ignore it. When a "surprise" pregnancy forces the issue, Jess becomes a target. A misunderstanding lands Jess in danger and Laarn desperate to save her. Help comes from a surprising source. Looking forward to more stories in this series.

There are so many appealing characters in this book and I can’t wait for more stories to come!

I find the Lathar world fascinating with their clan system, a central Emperor, the prolific genetic meddling that resulted in a fatal disease that wiped out all their women, and now a looming civil war between the clans who welcome human women to save their race and the purists who don’t want their precious DNA contaminated by outsiders. Of course the problem with fanatics is that there is no reasoning with them and nothing will dissuade them from their distorted point of view. Add in the dedicated healer Laarn, the gentle intelligence officer Jess, a thoroughly unexpected pregnancy that didn’t involve any happy times (O_o) and you have the recipe for an action packed adventure on a delightfully rocky road to true love.

I really enjoyed this story. The use of scifi tech, misunderstandings due to cultural differences and a H who goes the extra mile to get his girl and a girl who fights for what she wants hits the right notes for a great capture fantasy story. This is book 5 in the Warriors of Lathar series where earth finds out it's part of a long ago space mission sent out by the Lathar to colonize the Universe. Unable to produce females, our earth girls are a boon to a dying race.

I enjoyed reading this story. This is the first book in the series I've read and I really didn't have trouble jumping into it. The things that are needed to know are gone over and the other stuff is extra if you have read it. I really liked Jess and Laarn. They were good characters and fun to read. There is action and intrigue as well as watching Laarn and Jess try and figure each other out. They are both trying to spend extra time together without the other realizing that it's because they want the other one. Jess doesn't think he wants her or sees her as a woman and Laarn thinks she can't handle his scars and would never look at him as a man. I enjoyed reading and watching them figure things out and get passed the road blocks that are put in their way. This was a fun new world for me and I would love to come back.

I have been onboard with this series since the very beginning! I loved every book released before this one and I've wondered when Laarn's story would ever be told. Finally it's here, and I'm loving it! His character made a huge impression on me and I am ecstatic to have finally read his story! I have read and voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Jessica has been pining away for Laarn, who is trying to pretend he is disinterested. Circumstances bring them together in an unlikely way. I am still not certain if the emperor is really a jerk or if what he was doing to Jessica was a way to force Laarn to claim her. Really loved the end when Laarn was saving Jessica’s life with a little “help”.

Excitement personified, and an emotional rollercoaster! Jess and Laarn's path to each other was anything but smooth, especially when he was convinced love would weaken him as the Lord Healer and she thought she was to average to garner his attention...silly people!
Loved the story and can't wait for more!

Mina just writes wonderful books, and this one is one of the wonderful ones. Jess and Laarn face many problems on their way to a HEA, from misunderstandings to attempted murder, this book has it all. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.

Love the characters. The witty comebacks had me howling with laughter. Jess and Laarn are a joy to watch. Love it when one of the human women put a young warrior in his place, go Jane.
Can't wait to see what happens next.
