The Dream Manager

This book takes you back to the basics and leaves you excited and inspired. I only wish this was mandatory for all upper level management (all the way to the top) to read and be reminded quarterly. Companies like Walmart, SAMs Club wouldn't have so much turn over and law suites.

I loved this book and the whole concept of developing a dream manager program in the work place. Helping employees achieve their dreams would increase overall trust and loyalty issues which are greatly lacking in today's work environment.

I like the concepts in this book. Although this task of creating a dream manager program seems daunting in most companies I do believe would be extremely beneficial.

Get through the first half of the book so you can learn about how to really develop this idea for yourself as a manager.

This book is an eye opener, it makes absolute sense in this day and culture. A corporation can only be as good as the employees working for it and no matter what systems are enforced, its the passion and loyalty and relevance to their job that will ignite the spirit. That will be the difference between a struggling or failing company and one that has soaring profits!

A potentially life changing work! Not only is this a remarkable examination of possibilities in a business context, it is a fascinating commentary on the relationships among human beings in general and universally. Indeed, Dreams can come true...

Matthew Kelly weaves inspirational stories with Dream Manager concepts to engage and excite the reader to want to achieve their own dreams while helping others. It's a great book for your personal and professional life.

Simply written but incredibly inspiring. We get so caught up I our everyday lives that we forget that dreams are what creates our lives. The Dream Managers question " what is your dream?" Is a powerful one. Anyone can benefit from reading this book.

I absolutely love this book!! It is a wonderful idea in business and in your personal life. I cannot wait to start my dream book and seek people that can help me accomplish my dreams. It makes me even more passionate to help others acheive their dreams. We all have or at least had dreams....what's your dream?!

This put puts onto paper what I have been preaching for years, but was skirting. It puts the principles into practice and shows that helping others live their dreams is a reality we can choose to pursue. Kudos to Matthew Kelly for sharing his knowledge and insight.

I finally got around to reading this book after owning it for some time. Man am I glad I did. What a great story and what I loved best is how you can quickly integrate the lessons learned into your company and your life. This is a mist read!

I read this after I read Delivering Happiness. The message in both books is similar but I really enjoyed The Dream Manager much more. If you have read any of Patrick Lencioni's books and enjoy them then you should not hesitate to read The Dream Manager. No matter if you are an employee, manager, executive, parent, student, etc this is a book that everyone can and should learn from.

To understand that company goals and employee individual goals don't necessarily go hand in hand. How can we align both? This book is excellent at understanding the drivers of employee motivation. We will definitely implement in our company.

This is a well written, fast read but definitely worth the effort. The book helped organize learnings I already knew from personal experience but I never took the time to implement on my own. Buy it, act on it.
