Green Hat (Boynton on Board), Blue Hat

My three year old with autism adores this book. He can read it himself. This book is a life saver for me as a parent. He can be in full blown meltdown and all I have to do is pull out this book or say blue hat green hat and he can't help but smile.

Simple easy reading for a toddler. Keeps my 17mo old entertain when i read it to him. Sometimes when there is too many words on the page, he gets bored. He likes looking at colorful animal pictures and so this book works out great.

very cute book! we love sandra boynton in our house. i don't know about you but i can't help but "sing" these books. i absolutely cannot just read them aloud. that all started with the barnyard dance book. just think "country twang" and you should be able to sing it. they'll get a kick out of it. now my 6 year old sings it to my 1 year old. she's just amazed at "big sis"

Super fun read like many of Boynton's books. Bright colors that really catch baby's attention. I like to make my LO touch the pages to show they can be turned (yes, you can do that with your hands! Go baby!).

Very fun book to read with your child. They love learning colors and articles of clothing and the turkey makes it fun to see how things fit incorrectly. Children love the turkey's mistakes! The illustrations are pretty plain, but it helps the child focus on what is important.

Sandra Boynton has got to be one the greatest children's authors of all time. Simple, cute, and just absolutely hilarious. All my kids have loved her books and this one is no exception. Makes me laugh every time we read it.

First two blue items are actually purple, the same color as the purple socks at the end (which has an actual blue item on the same page). Printing error, I hope. Returning this. Content seems good, if not for the wrong colors. Will have to purchase it locally.
