HESI A2 Test Review for the Health Education Systems

Great boom that had me very well prepped. Note: deducted one star because in the back toward the summary areas there are a few obscure paragraphs that say you might also want to study these processes (biology section) those processes turned out to be very important.. At least the basic understanding of each was. I feel that should have been better presented. I do recommend the book!

Excellent review for Entrance Exam. I studied every page in the entire book for a period of 12 days. For areas of weakness, I repeated the exercises provided until I was confident with the results. Scored 92% on Hesi A2 Exam .

Seems like this book didn't even get proofread- ouch! This study guide contains ample mistakes. Additionally, much information presented is irrelevant. For instance, I spent hours studying the intense vocabulary section, only to find all of the words were irrelevant to the vocabulary on the actual HESI exam, which is much more general rather than medical-related.

I purchased HESI study guides from Mometrix, McGraw Hill and Elsevier- Mometrix was by far the worst. Highly recommend the Elsevier and McGraw Hill guides to aid in smart, efficient and relevant studying for the HESI exam! Both helped me score within the 99th percentile.

The Hesi A2 manual was very helpful in passing the pre-entrance nursing exam. What I would like to see, is more math questions under the practice test section. Many adults returning to school find the math portion the most challenging.

I think math portion was somewhat helpful, but more examples were definitely needed for the book itself. Especially, for the chemistry portion of the book. I was not well prepared for Chemistry for my HESI A2 Exam. If you do not have access to a computer of WiFi then this book is not for you. You have to pull the math examples from YouTube in order to review math problems. Remember to study conversions (ie. ounces to ml; pints to liters, cm to feet etc.) on your own because this book does not review it. Overall I don’t think this book properly prepared me for the exam. Luckily, I did extra studying from other sources and scored well on exam.

This book is awesome, I would rate this product as a 5 all because I was sold after viewing the information on this website. After going through some of the study questions I knew I had to get the book. After viewing the book I noticed that some of the similar information in the book that helps to answer the questions on the website. I think this book will be very helpful to my success on this test. Thank you for this product of motivation. 

Mometrix are the best books. They are worth the money spent on them. I have used Mometrix study guides in the past and they are absolutely awesome. I recommend Mometrix products to anyone who is preparing to take an exam. I have loaned my study guides out to other students, and always get great feedback. I will always look for Mometrix when I have an assessment exam coming up!

I have just started it but it looks really informative without being tedious I like that because it's the most helpful all the topics are to the point and not time wasting! I will be updating my review after I take the exam!!!

I really like this helpful book for my entry exam into the nursing program. The concepts are great. The practice exams are reasonable and help greatly with my preparation. In addition, they are sending a free dvd to help me further in achieving my goal. This book was recommended to me by a fellow nurse and my academic advisor and it helped them and their students to achieve their successes in getting into the nursing program via the HESI.
