Review:I was recommeded this book by a coworker when I was training to be a circulating RN. Good recommendation. It's pretty easy to carry around. It gives a basic overview of many of the procedures done in the OR, it includes info such as what the procedure is done for, steps of the procedure, and instrumentation used during the case, and other helpful info to give the truly novice circulating RN a background of what to expect during specific surgical case. It is easy to read and understand. I wo... Read more
Review:Book was very informative and left no surprises come test time. I was over prepared after reading through this book, doing the paractice tests, and using the cheat sheets for some last minute studying. Would recommend to anyone. Read more
Review:This book is essential to osteopathic medical students for OMM - it skips all the boring details and gets to the good stuff. The practice questions are great. What I don't understand is why they are still stuck in the 90s and not offering this as an ebook. Get on board, publishers! Read more
Review:I used the older version of this when I was in PA school to help prep me for the PANCE exam. After practicing for 4 years, I thought I would buy the newer version for a refresher and to get some CME hours in. I was disappointed. Review:Its required text for my RN program. It wasn't until recently I was forced to crack it open when my go to HESI book did not have specific question choices for the chapters I was to be tested on. I read over the matching chapters in this book and It simplified and condensed all the info I needed. The questions from the online companion were SPOT ON for my exam. I've been converted. I like this book now. Read more
Review:Great book to read. A lot of information given that I was not aware of. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to know about our history and is into medicine. It's a great way to read on how medicine was incorrectly used. Read more
Review:Very well done book on the minds, thinking, patterns and scary sequelae of psychopaths living among us. Very scary and very true. Enough said. You want to know what these monsters are like, look no further than this book.

Review:This book was very simple...so simple it almost made me feel simple. At first I thought that was a good thing, but the more I read the less useful it became. I would suggest this maybe more if you were teaching yourself...but for classes where a lecture of some sort is supplementing learning, this book is definitely way too easy. Read more
Review:Evidenced-based practice is important for any profession to be taken seriously and to be trustworthy. However, this book is not a fun read. I completed most of my class without it and used it sparingly for references. The 5 starts is because the seller sent it promptly, packaged it securely, and most of all described it perfectly.
