They dont make it very clear that when you purchase this book, you will get exactly the same text as when you purchase the full version of the book. Don't waste your money buying the prologue. You will get it for free when you buy the book anyway. I feel rather cheated

Brandon Sanderson has done a wonderful job of continuing Robert's Work, if his name was not on the cover you would not know the difference.
Congrats Brandon Robert Jordan would be very proud of you, I know I am thank you for continuing the Fabulous Adventure

After passing countless hours immersed in the world Robert Jordan created, I find myself filled with a sense of dread that this saga is drawing to a close. Yet I can't wait to see what the conclusion will be.

After so many years of reading this series, and waiting so long for the final book, this E-book is a perfectly written prologue to the final chapter of this saga. Many questions answered and set up for the final battle. I can't imagine anyone who reads this series NOT reading this.... but if you are for any crazy reason, considering whether you should read this or not ..... get it ... Now !!

My faith is restored. Will January ever get here? Looking forward to the finale after all this time. When Sanderson took the reins the story gained steam and purpose. Here's hoping the ending is fitting.

The story line continues but REALLY,....I'm looking for the Kindle edition of A Memory of Light and finally found link that says I (Kindle owner) cannot purchase it in Kindle form until possibly April, because Mr. Jordan's wife wanted to let hard cover edition have its opportunity to make the bestseller list first. Seriously.... I'm insulted. I am unlikely to finish THIS book and after purchasing and reading EVERY other book in the Series Wheel of Time am likely to not buy that either. What a disappointment.

"By Grace and Banners Fallen: Prologue to A Memory of Light" is very interesting. It provides more details about the conclusion to The Wheel of Time series, and it piques your interest in the final step of this journey: A Memory of Light. This prologue provided me with much needed information about the Aiel's course of action about their precarious future, Talmanes' fate, and what happened in the final days before the Last Battle. This prologue could be better in that it could've provided more information about the main characters of the story (e.g. Aviendha, Mat, Perrin, Nynaeve, Rand, etc.), instead of beginning an exploration into side characters at the very end of this story. All in all, Mr. Sanderson is doing a great job with the conclusion of this long but rewarding series!

Great read - Towers of Midnight ended with Trollocs invading Caemlyn. The Prologue to AMOL covers that battle and several other short tidbits.

Impatiently waiting for January 8 and the Last Battle. Sanderson is continuing his excellent work to complete Jordan's masterpiece.

He does an amazing job with the notes left behind from the late Robert Jordan. This is no exception. He has kept the pace entertaing, and never boring. I think if Mr. Jordan were still alive, he would be smiling.

I really get into science fiction, but this one was just way over the top. You would most diffidently need to read the first two in the series to even follow the story line.
It is probably not fare to rate this book, being I have not read the previous books.

By Grace and Banners Fallen is a great prologue to A Memory of Light. For all those avid Wheel of Time readers who can not wait for the last installment to come out in January like me, this is a definite buy. This prologue is full of suspense, battles and will keep you on the edge of your seats for most of the 74 pages. After reading By Grace and Banners Fallen, I was even more excited for the rest of A Memory of Light to come out. Buy this and you will not be disappointed.

The prologue is longer than some short stories so I felt that I got my money's worth. The story lines presented grab you and pull you in and don't let go. It will make waiting for the full book even harder to endure.
