Romantic Comedy (Scottish Highlands Book 2) - Goody Two Shoes

This was a thoroughly enjoyable book. The second in the series, it actually made me laugh out loud several times. I bought the third in the series, Magenta Mine as well but it was rather short and seemed thrown together. Read these books with an open mind and don't overthink things. Overall I give this book 5 stars. It won't win any award for great literature but then again, I didn't expect that to happen.

A lighthearted quirky comical romance with plenty of laugh out loud moments. This was the first book I had read of this author and it was quickly followed by some of her other books. The author has an easy read style and sets a good pace. Like most standard romance novels it follows a tried and tested formulae but there are a few nice little surprises along the way both with the characters and in the story. Overall a very enjoyable read.

This one slowly reeled me in with the endearing and crazy characters and a romance that grows organically despite the silliness around the couple. I could only see Hugh Jackman as the singing star hero with maybe Keira Knightly as the "she".

Loved his parents secondary story, especially his father's solution to their marriage problems. Just one of the many chuckles to laugh out loud moments. Definitely worth the read.

Another great book about the zany inhabitants of Invertary. Makes me want to visit Scotland and look them up. A simple wedding based on respect and commitment seems just the thing. Love and romance are just not logical. So begins a wild three weeks, and the entire town to accomplish the impossible.

Caroline's story this time. I love the back story and watching her deal with chaos in the form of a handsome singer in her own Caroline way. The challenges, the silliness and the characters all have grown on me.
