Unstoppable needs to stop.

Stop being so awesome!

What a thrilling fourth book! Everything was summed up nicely and all the characters were put in their place. I really liked the ending, and the middle, and the beginning, and pretty much everything else. The only person I didn’t like was Cara.

I just don’t feel like she’s being completely honest, honestly. I feel like she has too much room to mess up, and betray them. I don’t really trust her motives, but I guess I’ll believe her for now. For everyone’s sake.

How are they going to top this? How will this series continue after this amazing book? I don’t know, but I really want to find out. I honestly don’t know how they can do it. Only a miracle worker could outstand this. I want more books, more I say! How can you expect me to wait for the next one?

In conclusion, this book was thrilling, satisfying, and entertaining. I have read Gordon Korman’s work before, and he hasn’t disappointed yet. I can’t wait for the next one!

Scholastic Books sent me the above book for review purposes. It will allow me to keep the book. I have no other connection to and have received no other compensation from Scholastic.

Amy and Dan Cahill have survived, no mean feat given how many family and friends have passed on around them. But a new threat has emerged, one that has power beyond anything they've been familiar with before. They're being framed as reckless rich kids and someone is dismantling their world around them. And it appears that someone has gotten ahold of the serum and is now using it against the world. And only Dan and Amy can stop it.

I missed the whole 39 Clues series the first go around. I mean, I saw the books but just wrote it off as something that looked...hooky. But I read this book (and yes I'm aware it's the third series) and wow...I was blown away by how engaging and captivating this world is and how great the characters are and I can't wait for the next book to come out (or to catch up with the other books in the series.)

If you're like me and you haven't read the previous books, you can still easily jump into this series without getting too lost from previous books. I highly recommend this book and give it 5 out of 5 stars

My daughter got into this series a bit later than at the very beginning, but this does not mean that she is not a fan. In fact, she regularly goes to no library trying to find new books that she has not read in this series. In this book though you get the same characters that you typically will find on a new and very engaging platform. As a parent I love how the books engage the reader from beginning to end and also make them think about the clues that are being given throughout the story.

In this book you get great action, humor and so much more while having to stay sharp. The book will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens with the serums antidote!

All-in-all this was a great book and I would highly encourage all to read!

Have you ever wanted to fight a supervillain who is the strongest man in the world? This is the book for you if the answer of this question is yes.

In this book, there is a serum which can make you the strongest person in the world. The catch is that it is a death sentence as it shuts down your nervous system in a week. A Cahill (a member of the strongest family in the world, the Cahills) makes a concentrated strain which is to be taken every day. Different strains make you smarter, stronger, more artistic and, more technical. This does not kill you. The creator of the strains unknowingly gives the formula to an imposter who is acting like someone else and his name is J Rutherford Pierce. Amy and Dan Cahill get to know about this and try to stop him. They find a cure to the serum in a book their ancestor, Olivia Cahill had written. They also get to know he is giving it to their children and that he is giving it to his soldier. He has bought a big laboratory and is mass producing the strains. The Cahill team need to stop Pierce before he starts a World War……….

I was really disappointed with the last book Day of Doom . It was like Baldacci thought it's a mere teen series and teens love stupid stories with love triangles . And So he wrote without much thought or effort to make it logical or give it any depth . It was so bad I was put off from trying the new series .

But now that I finally tried Nowhere to Run , my faith in the series is restored . Jude Watson has done some great writing . There is once again some depth to the plot , the characters and their emotions . This book has the standard a 39 clues book should have .

I was actually really disappointed with this book. When starting off a new series, the authors kept things mysterious. You don't know what's going on, even towards the end of the book, but here we knew from the beginning. Why read it when you know what's going to happen? Also, this entire thing feels forced, like Scholastic saw how well the two series were selling and wanted more money, or something. Overall, the story just wasn't as good as it has been. 39 Clues was great, Vespers was tolerable, but Unstoppable just isn't worth reading. I'm considering borrowing the next book from the library, just to see if it catches my attention, but probably won't even do that. I gave this a 2 only because there isn't a 1.5 and I rounded.

I started this series for the grand kids and reading this series with them has gotten me hooked on the series also. I get it for them but when they are finished I have to read the latest escapades. May be designed for the kids but is an amusing and quick read for some of us oldsters who aren't afraid of or ashamed to be seen reading a kids book.
