This is a sweet and heartwarming story about widow Faith Dustin and her best friend and neighbor, Chase Brannon. It's Christmas time at Cold Creek and Faith cannot imagine her life without the help and friendship of Chase. He has had romantic feelings for her for a very long time, and is now ready to openly share them with her, but is Faith ready to accept that they can be more than best friends?

It was a real treat to return to Cold Creek and visit with Hope and Celeste and their families, as well as their Aunt Hope. I recommend all of Ms. Thayne's Christmas stories!

I received a complimentary copy; all opinions are my own.

This is the story of Faith and Chase. His feelings are more than friendship for her but she is afraid of getting involved with him, they are the best of friends and she does not want to ruin that. She is a widow with 2 children and not ready for romance though she has strong feeling for Chase, she is scared. Will they find their way to each other at last or will he get tired of waiting and move on?? Read this great book and find out all the details. Another hit from RaeAnne Thayne!!

This book is about Faith and Chase. Faith lost her parents many years ago. She and her sisters came to the Christmas Ranch to liver with her aunt Mary after their death. Faith is a widow who almost list her ranch and her best friend Chase helped her put it back into a thriving business. Chase has always loved her but she didn't see it at first. She was afraid to give love another try.
This book is like visiting with your family and catching up on their lives. I liked 're-visiting THE CHRISTMAS RANCH again and hope the story continues for a long time. RosEanne Thayne sure knows how to write a great feel good book.

This sweet Christmas story is short but full of heart. It involves the eldest of three sisters, Faith Nichols. Her younger sisters have both found love but Faith is a widow who is afraid of giving
her heart away again.

Chase is the good looking rancher that lives next door and is Faith's best friend. He's ready
to take their relationship to the next level as he's loved Faith for years. However, Faith is doing
everything in her power to push him away, even going so far as to suggest he date someone else!

I enjoyed this quick read but was frustrated with Faith, she knew what a great guy Chase was and
he made it very clear what he was looking for. It took him almost walking away for her to open her heart to him and realize he was, indeed, the love of her life.

What another lovely read by RaeAnne Thayne! The Holiday Gift brings the hope, joy, love, and magic of the Christmas season to a single mom, Faith, and her very best friend, Chase. I love that this is a story where the heroine is the one with hesitations while the hero is one hundred percent all in! Faith is gun shy about love while Chase has been in love with her since childhood. With the help of their children, family, and the magic of the Christmas Ranch, the two realize that best friends can make the perfect match.

Chase and Faith are best friends who are coping with the loss of their other best friend, Faith's husband, while trying to balance feelings for each other and the holiday stresses. I think I would have connected better and earlier in the book if I had read the other books in the series first, but I did still enjoy the book. Faith was a little annoying at times when she kept giving in to her feelings and Chase's advances and then backing off again. Chase was perfect and I cried for him a few times!

Cold Creek puts forth a beautiful setting for yet another heartfelt love story. When you lose your first love to a friend and have the opportunity to grab that first love back, do you go for it and how to you convince that person to take the chance with you? How will Chase convince Faith that he is right for her? How will she finally get over Travis and realize Chase is there to be her forever friend, lover and husband? The Holiday Gift is a feel good, Christmas holiday story that will warm your heart and make you realize that love in the past can be reunited and rekindled. I loved it!

Feel good small ranch town holiday tale revisiting Pine Gulch at Christmastime. This is the story of widow Faith and her neighbor friend, Chase, who has secretly loved her since they were teenagers. Chase wants more from Faith but of course she is scared to love again since the loss of her husband 3 years ago. Fun addition with the children trying their hand at matchmaking. Raeanne Thayne is excellent at writing touching family romances without steamy sex scenes.

A heartwarming Christmas romance story. A story of love and second chances. This is Faith's and Chase's story as you return to Cold Creek. A fast paced story that keeps you wondering what will happen next. Very well written with a great cast of characters that draw you right into the story with them. I loved every minute of it!

This is another G-rated holiday romance book set in Pine Gulch, ID and continues the story of the Nichols sisters. Faith Dustin has to face that her best buddy, Chase Brannon, has more feelings towards her than friendship. It was nice to re-visit some of the characters that I met in "A Cold Creek Christmas Story."
(I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest and unbiased opinion.)

This short and sweet novella is the story of Faith Dustin and Chase Brannon.
Since being widowed Faith has closed off her heart, so she can never feel the pain of losing someone again. Unfortunately, her best friend Chase has waited long enough to let her know that he loves her.
Will Faith open her heart one more time or will Chase be left in the cold?

A heartwarming read for the holidays with a very stubborn heroine. I have to agree with her sister's observation, that Faith is being deliberately obtuse when it comes to the attentions of long time friend Chase. For his part, Chase perseveres thru the holiday season with a good result.

What a perfectly lovely romantic story. It sure makes you feel that miracles can happen at Christmas. I loved Chase and how he didn't want to give up on Faith. Their story is heartwarming. Another absolutely wonderful book by Author RaeAnne Thayne.

Who doesn't love a Christmas romance? This one is a great one with additional twists and turns. Main character has been in love with the Lady for almost all his life. He's finally going to get his dreams fulfilled. Or does he? Great book!

Such a sweet, heartwarming holiday book! I was sad when it was over! I definitely wanted it to continue! We have previously met the other Nichols' sisters but this book is about Faith. She has been in other books but this is her story. You don't have to read the other books but you will have a little background about her if you have read previous books. She has been a widow for a couple years, trying to raise her young children and run a ranch that her husband wasn't very good at! However, her sisters and other family members have helped her out a lot and she's beginning to settle in where she feels that her "head is above water" now. One of the big reasons is that her neighbor and childhood friend, Chase, has been there every step of the way. He's helped her learn how to make the ranch successful again and so many other things. She doesn't know what she would do without his help ever since her husband died. BUT, Chase, wants to take their friendship to the next level.....he's felt "more than friendship" ever since they were teenagers.....and Faith doesn't know what to do about that. I love stories about best friends turning into more! Relationships that begin as friends are fantastic! This author does such a great job at showing how that "give and take" happens. It's an up and down process. It's not easy but it's sure worth it! Chase also has a daughter from his previous marriage and I loved her spunkiness! All the characters in this book are fantastic. It's a great holiday read that helps us remember what the holidays are all about.

The Holiday Gift (Cowboys of Cold Creek #15) by RaeAnne Thayne

What am amazing love story set in Cold Creek at Christmastime. Although this is my first glimpse inside the close nit town with book #15, I didn't feel lost..... However I am excited knowing there are MANY more to read... Previous as well as newer stories..... And I can't wait to read more from RaeAnne Thayne! Chase had always loved Faith since the day he met her. But with their circumstances be couldn't tell her and stayed by the sidelines.... Until he couldn't any longer. Was this the biggest mistake if his life or was it his best decision. How would Faith take it? You'll have to read The Holiday Gift to find out! It's so sorry cuddling under the covers to read... Or snuggling up with your best friend while you read it by the fire.....on Christmas! ARC received from Netgalley for an honest voluntary review.
Favorite Passages ~
• “It feels like everything has changed.”........ “Life has a way of doing that, whether we always like it or not,”...........“Nobody escapes it. The trick is figuring out how to roll with the changes.”
• Faith is always stronger than fear.

I collect holiday stories/books and enjoy this time of year. The Harlequin Cold Creek series has long been a favorite of mine. It is always so much fun to catch up with characters, especially during the holidays, and The Holiday Gift was no different. Chase Brannon and Faith (Nichols) Dustin have known each other since Faith came to town, with her sisters, as a teenager. She and Chase have backstories that will break your heart, warm your heart, and put you firmly in their corner. Chase has probably been in love with Faith since those early days however (and you’ll have to read the book to see why) she ended up happily married to Chase’s friend. He’s remained in the good friend role, even thru the loss of her husband, Travis, but since this is their story, he is stepping out of that role…one tentative step at a time. Ms. Thayne made me care about these two and I have to admit to being a “big bit” annoyed with Faith. Therein lays the story, though, so it is worth reading and enjoying Faith and Chase’s journey. It was also fun to visit with family members, from other books, although this is truly a standalone. As I said, above, I’m pretty much a buy/read/save holiday book person so it was fun to catch up with everyone. For me, I recommend this heartwarming, heartbreaking, fun and touching holiday story. Nobody does it better than RaeAnne Thayne.

This RaeAnne Thayne book was a friends to lovers trope, which happens to be my favorite. Add that to Ms. Thayne being one of my favorite authors and I was in heaven reading this book!
Faith is a widowed mother of two running a ranch and Chase is her best friend who helps her out and has been there for her forever. Suddenly things are changing between them, but Faith isn't too happy about it. She wants things to stay the same between them...at least that's what she keeps telling herself after "the kiss". Chase has been sitting back and waiting and waiting. He's decided he's not waiting any longer. He can tell she's stirred by him romantically, too, but can't get her to admit that there's anything there but friendship. Will he decide not to risk it after all, or can he get Faith to take a chance on him and a chance on his love?
This was just an awesome, heartwarming book that I would highly recommend to anyone who likes books along the line of Debbie Macomber. Loved it!

"The Holiday Gift" (Cowboys of Cold Creek novel) by RaeAnne Thayne

Another hit by RaeAnne Thayne in the Cold Creek series.

What do you do when your best friend falls in love with you? What does he do when he seems to be fighting an uphill battle? Can ones faith override ones fear? Can the past be left behind so one can move forward?

Chase and Faith have been best friends for decades. Chase missed his chance to show how much he loved Faith once already and he is determined to not let Faith go without a fight. Faith has had so much trauma in her life and is afraid to open her heart again. She has put up a lot of barriers and is having a hard time moving things to a different level with her best friend. Will her past push Chase away or will she be able to have faith and work through her fears?

I loved this story of second chances, missed chances and new beginnings. Chase and Faith are
both wonderful characters and their collective children have known each other forever.
Faith lost her first love and father of her children a few years ago. Chase has always been in love with with her but she was his best friends wife. He knows the right time for them is now, all he has to do is show her. This is where the story is most delightful. I laughed, cried and enjoyed every word.
Great dialogue, funny situations and a heartwarming conclusion.
Everything a Christmas story should be!

RaeAnne Thayne has done it again. The Holiday Gift is a wonderful story. It is a story about second chances and being brave enough to take them. I really enjoyed this book and catching up with the Nichols sisters.
Faith is a widow with two young children. She has been working to keep the ranch going with the help of her best friend and neighbor Chase. Chase has had his fair share of struggles. He is divorced and the father of a young child. Chase has been in love with faith since they met as teenagers but he has never told her. Now has decided it is time to let Faith know about his feelings for her. Faith is scared because she does not want to lose her best friend. I hope you enjoy this beautiful story of taking a second chance on love with the help of Christmas magic.
