Definitely needs a better editor, as some of the grammatics are lost which require another pass over said sentence or paragraph... Don't let that statement alone stop your venture into this series!

Instead, immerse yourself into Eden's Gate (not a game, but a whole new world). Earth exists, as you are remided, as still being the homeworld of humans before the transition into Eden's Gate. "Earth" is still what you and I both perceive it as, but Eden's Gate is our portal to the next world where;
Life is infinite (for reborns).
Life is abundant.
Life can be extra-ordinary.

If you've not read book one, do so before this one!!!

Gunnar truly levels up in this one, learning not only more magic and skills but also developing his moral compass.

In Eden's Gate, after all, you can finally be the person you always wanted to be. Just don't forget that choices have consequences.

Edward wrote another great entry into the life and adventures of Gunnar with book 2. Just like the first one, I felt like I was IN the story and loved following all the decisions (and consequences) of the main character. In this book, Edward gives a bigger insight into everyone’s back stories, a cool main quest and surprises towards the end to keep you on the edge of your seat!!! Consider me a lifelong fan and can’t wait to blaze through book 3.

Wow. Great story development. I would like to see a bit more sex though :) comeon he has cash and willing women. You know he would try it out.

The princess romance is a bit weird. No way she could go for him. Now the dark elf. Nice.

Unity. Wow. Great Story that.

Anyone into this genre should know Edens Gate. If you read the first one, quit messing around and read it already! The world is crafted very well, and this second installment has been glued to my hand until I finished it!!

This was a great continuation of Gunnar Long's story. The story was well-written, cleanly edited, and flowed really well.

If you enjoy fantasy LITRPG, I believe you would like this book. I am hopeful that with the creation of their guild, there will be more world building / crafting going on.

I enjoy his litrpg because the main character felt real and not "overpowered" like most good fantasy books the ready was pleasantly surprised by the story. It stayed focused on the journey and not the stat detail or micromanage you can find in games and other litrpgs. I will be back for book 3.

Of the dozens of LitRPG books that have been produced, there are few that stand out as well as the Eden's Gate novels. The author keeps a good pace throughout the book, maintaining interest without being bogged down by unimportant details. I am definitely invested in the hero, and I look forward to seeing where his adventures lead him in future installments

This book has so many characters that feel like people with the strengths and weaknesses. This is a great way of writing. It keeps you grounded, focused on the story without being distracted by bad characterizations. Love this series!

An enjoyable series. The story just sucks you in. I'm glad I put this down and forgot about it for a few months. By the time I got back to it, book three was ready! I like that Gunnar isn't OP and that he makes bad decisions too.

Nice continuation from the first book. The gamers are clearly adjusting to their new reality and making choices for life rather than reacting to game situations - well maybe not Ozzy yet. Liked the added "Earth" storyline about the hackers trying to get into Eden's Gate.

Again a good book. Solid improvement over the first. Plot has become more complex with more moving parts. I still occasionally find the characters acting like idiots but that is par for the course with normal people. Still not any great twists but an engaging evening's read.

Many players and DMs have wished that the world or the character where real. The time spent leveling up and the adventures made for a very rich world. Which many returned to time and time again. This series chapters the enjoyment and adventure of those times

Perfect second showing how actions have consequences in the new world and how if you play/live to be a hero benefits you in the long run and being a villain can hurt you. (genius) The way that it focuses on Gunnar's character and his evolution through out his journey in the new world is epic and the description of not only the battles but his gear and how it interacts within the "game" is beautiful. Perfect sequel, I want so many more.

Great story. If you enjoyed the first book you will really like this one. This is not a story about average people doing unbelievable quests. It is about people trying to find there path in a new world and getting a little lucky along the way.

Edens gate is a little slower paced than most litrpgs but honestly that's not a bad thing. It's enjoyable to watch a character progress at less than an Astronomical rate. It feels more "realistic". The characters are solid and the pacing is right. I look forward to the next iteration.

Liked it more than the first. Good pacing with the action and the MC is progressing at a nice pace, so there should be plenty of room to grow. The MCs struggle with remaining loyal to his real life love and his burgeoning feelings for NPCs is interesting.

I recently finished the first book and picked this one up immediately after. It's a great continuation of the series. The only complaint I have is that it felt like it ended too quickly. The book was over before I knew it. Can't wait to read more of the series.

You should definitely read it yet it had a couple little flaws in plot and grammar , (but who cares about that) I would give it 6stars if I could it makes my opinion on litRPG go to awesome to super awesome

It was a great escape from reality, especially if you are going through alot at the time. But isn't that why alot of us read anyways? To escape the reality of the world in which we are destined to slave our entire life? Superb job Edward, I finished this book in around 5 hours give or take and those 5 hours were amazing. If you ever read this, post on your Facebook page and I'll be sure to message you!

Reading this series has been one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had so far with LitRPG. In so many ways it reminded me of when I first started to play MMORPG and the absolute thrill I got from them. I can't wait until November 22nd to continue the journey through Eden's Gate. Highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a great read.
