There is no doubting that Tom Ford is the sexiest man on the planet, there is no doubting the man is one of the most talented designers. But this booklet culminates into one of the greatest publishing works I have ever seen. I was mesmerized by the packaging, intrigued by many of his choices for photographs to use and left saying, I would wear his clothes any old time. He was one of the first designers who brought sex to high fashion. I've been a tough critic many times on many publications but this one is by far the most oustanding and innovative and individual work of publishing that I've ever seen. Of course could we expect any less from Tom Ford, who has done nothing but outstanding projects from the time he left the Texas town he came from? This man is one of the greats of our time. I just hope he continues to succeed. Thanks! And by the way, buy this book, it is well worth every penny and it's a great conversation piece for any dinner party. Put it out on the coffee table and watch the fingers flip through the most glossy and elegant pages of any published work yet.

This incredibly beautiful tribute to the legacy of Tom Ford, whose unbelievably sexy designs transformed the struggling fashion houses of Gucci and Yves Saint, is a must-have for any fashionista, photographer, or artist. The gorgeous design of this book makes it worth every penny! Ford himself has combined hundreds of his favorite campaign images, red-carpet snaps, editorial pages, personal portraits, and runway photos into a truly stunning compilation.
In addition, Ford includes a lucrative amount of fascinating analyses and summaries of each year along with his inspirations and personal feelings for each year. Furthermore, the book includes a forward by Anna Wintour, an introduction by Graydon Carter, and an absorbing interview with the man himself by Bridget Foley.

This really is the complete Tom Ford. It is hella expensive, but if you are someone who is a fan of Ford, then I can't imagine you being disappointed. Tom Ford has had an amazing career, he rivived two legendary fashion houses and made himself a star, now he says he wants to direct, uh you go girl, I mean who is going to bet against Tom Ford? I always found it funny that this man who designed so many fabulous clothes, always wore the same thing, but honestly how can you go wrong with a black suit and a white bespoke oxford shirt, and has anyone looked better wearing it?

overpriced and overrated.
too many candid celeb shots - wasted pages that couldve been filled by more fashion spreads or images.
and i got really annoyed by too many images of his stark, boring homes. can anybody honestly live in places like that? so devoid of any kind of color or creativity that he brings to his clothes.
i am in love with tom ford as the next fashionista, for he is a great talent, but for someone who is going to put out a book about himself and his work - where are the pics of the countless people behind the scenes who helped propel him to his superstar status. maybe pics of him hangin out with the seamstresses, i dont know -- something that would show that Tom is indeed human...instead i thought the book, although did present some fantastic images of campaigns and such, was lacking -- straight runway shots are so boring - papparazzi shots of celebs are boring also - im sure there were arty photographers out there at his shows taking pics all those seasons.. i am glad all the image campaign ads were included.

This is a large beautiful coffee table book. The outside is beautiful and comes in a box that keeps it pristine. The content is wonderful as well. This is prominently displayed in my living room and delivers a graphic but chic punch to the decor. Love it. Highly recommend if you like fashion coffee table books or you just want to "rock Tom Ford" like JayZ.

That was then and now is now. Tom Ford is still resting on his laurels of the success of his career change in moving form fashion to film direction. His first film was the unanimously acclaimed, Oscar winning A SINGLE MAN with Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, and Nicholas Hoult enacting Christopher Isherwood's brilliant book of the same name. Since this book TOM FORD is apparently the designer director's swan song to fashion it is destined to become a collector's item. Grady Harp, April 12
