Well I can honestly say Celia Aaron writes fantastic bad guys. The type you shouldn't love but can't help being drawn too, you feel like you need your head examined. HaHa!!
But it's totally fine to love the psychos in the book world.
I definitely do.

Camille is a teacher and loves her job, she has a boyfriend who adores her the perfect life. But something is missing.
Something she doesn't even realise she wants.

Sebastian Isn't a good man he doesn't act or feel like everyone else.
His world is very different and he makes the rules.
He's a very successful business man and he loves reading people. He's very good at it. It's a skill he's learnt over the years to blend in.

When he notices Camille at a party he wants her and to hell with the consequences. He's a man that will stop at nothing to have her for himself.
In his eyes she already belongs to him she just doesn't know it yet....but she will.

I loved Sebastian he's a very complex character the way he sees things is very black and white he's not comfortable with emotions. He comes across as cold but you need to delve deeper to the man underneath. Once you do and understand the way he works, I'm sure you'll love him as much as I did.

Fantastic book, I was hooked from the first page and didn't want it to end.

Sebastian definitely have twisted the way to swoon a lady. He goes beyond the norm and he acts like it’s the right way. When Sebastian saw Camille, he knew right away that he wants her in his life. He did everything with a psychopath brain of his, he kidnapped her, provided her with things she needed and everything money can buy. To Sebastian this is the perfect way for Camille to fall in love with him.

Camille is an intelligent, feisty, science teacher who tries to convince Sebastian that what he’s doing is wrong in every possible way. She didn’t give up on him; she continues to tell him what is right. Finally, Sebastian let go of Camille. Now that she’s free, Camille can’t seem to think other than Sebastian. That let her questioned herself, if it’s possible to fall in love with a psycho?

This book totally wowed me from beginning to end. I want to hate Sebastian, but how can I? I never thought a psychopath can be this endearing. One more thing I like about this story is the different deals between Sebastian and Camille made for each other, mostly involves being in bed… naked.

Of all the books I’ve read from this author, I’m proud to say this is my favorite work of hers so far. If you’re into this kind of read, don’t hesitate to pick this one, it’s worth it!

Already hooked at the premise and even more with the way Sebastians father conditioned him. But she was the fire started for him. He doesn't know empathy, tears only means sadness but he doesnt feel them. Facial expressions give him clues. He makes deals and negotiates but still in the end of the business he wins, but not with her, not with Camille.

She was the life line for him, she was the emotion he craves. He was her "antacid" . This book is an amazingly wonderful book to read. Worth losing sleep over, just to get to the end. No cliffhangers, just a well thought out story, of different characters and how their lives play out as the damsel tries to find help and be rescued both physically and mentally while imprisoned by "her psycho" . Waiting for her white knight to be true and maybe just maybe be her salvation?

Her White Knight is everything she need and a must want. He was her friend a confidant thru her life's trials and tribulations. He was patient and ever so charming. He will wait for her, he will have her, all he cared about is her, or does He? For him patience and dedication and his love "by way of his definition" should warrant her heart to him.

Which one would you choose: the white knight or the psycho? Easy choice right?

READ THE BOOK BEFORE YOU ANSWER.

Camille Briarlane loves plants and teaching her job teaching high school biology. She is in a relationship with someone who treats her well and while he wants more, she is content with her life as it is.

Sebastian Lindstrom meets Camille at a party, while she is on the arm of his employee. He knows immediately that she is meant to be his… and he plans at stopping at nothing to have her…

“Every bad guy is the hero of his own tale”

The characters are well written and interesting, because they are so very real, flawed and refreshingly different. I loved how smart Camille was, not only with her love of teaching and plants, but how she never completely gives in to Sebastian, or suddenly turns weak or helpless. Sebastian knows his limitations, is never dishonest about them and recognizes Camille for what she means to him, even though his history would seem that he wouldn’t be able to do so.

This book was amazing. If you enjoy a dark(ish) romance, with a slightly psychopathic anti-hero and a strong, smart heroine this is the book for you. The writing is brilliant and the story had me enthralled from the beginning.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.

Wow, just Wow. What a ride! I literally just finished The Bad Guy by Celia Aaron and I'm in a major book hangover. I can't say how much I love this book. The Bad Guy had me at the edge of my seat and I read it in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. I didn't wanted it to end but I couldn't not know what happened to the characters.

Meet Sebastian Lindstrom, CEO, villain and the bad guy. One look at Camille Briarlane and he's hooked. He wants her, like WANTS her. He's obsessed and does unspeakable things to possess her. The term stalker gets a new meaning. He calls himself a " high functioning psychopath ".
But the " damsel in distress " - Camille - doesn't want to be rescued.

The Bad Guy is a dark read, a stand alone novel and a book that stays with you.
I was hooked from page one and cheered for Sebastian and Camille. I love the characters, I love the words- I could feel the characters emotions in the words, and I love the writing. The Bad Guy is beautifully thought out, beautifully told and beautifully written. I wish I could give more than 5 Stars, and I wish for my own bad guy. Thank you Celia Aaron.

Holy mother of all things twisted. Once again, Celia has managed to make me fall for a depraved man, a bad guy, if you will. How the hell does she do it?
Sebastian is a psychopath. He doesn’t feel emotion like everyone else does, and has to rely on body language to tell what a person is thinking or feeling. He’s also willing to go to any extreme to get what he wants, even if that something belongs to someone else.
Camille is a science teacher, with a dream of one day travelling to the the store rainforest to study the plant-life. Her boyfriend, Link, wants her to move to the city to live with him, but when a space opens up on this expedition, she can’t turn it down. Only, it’s not what she expected it to be.
Sebastian has his eyes on the prize, and won’t stop until he has her in his grasp.
You’ll want to hate him, but deep down, you won’t be able to. He’s everything you shouldn’t want, and everything you can’t resist.
Once again, I find myself questioning my morals, and wondering why I love these men so much. You know it’s a good story when it has you rethinking everything you thought you knew.

The Bad Guy was an exceptionally well written standalone book; it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole read. I loved this book it made me feel happy, sad, and mad all at the same time. The hate/ love relationship that Sebastian Lindstrom and Camille Briarlane had for each other was maddening but phenomenal all at the same time. Celia Aaron did an amazing job with the storyline; I loved it.

Link took Camille to the Annual Lindstrom Gala where she met Sebastian. As Link and Camille were dancing Sebastian cut in on the dance and knew he had to have her right away. He ends up bugging her cottage, her best friend’s apartment and Link’s apartment. Camille is a botanical science teacher and wants to go to the the store over Christmas break, but Sebastian ends up kidnapping her when a limo pulls up outside her cottage to take her to the airport.

This is the first book I have read from Celia Aaron and I look forward to reading more books by her. I will definitely recommending this book to others to read.

So where should I start? I effin' loved this book, it was just beautifully dark, sweet, hot and oh so crazy. The whole story grabed me from the moment I read the blurb. The dark prince and his effort to own her. His belief in what's right. Just OMG I want this man all for myself.

Sebastian Lindstrom has dark side which no one knows about. He's Master of negotiations, always has his game face on.

He has never learned to feel and wasn' t able to distinguish emotions until the first time he faced her….

Camille Briarlane, high school teacher who loves to to work with her students, loves all kind of plants and everything about them. Her boyfriend is her white knight. What could she wish more for? She feels like some invisible strings are pulling her back.

She doesn't know Sebastian, but the first time they meet she can't understand the strong pull to him. He can't stop thinking about her since then. He needs her and will do everything to get her. It's non-negotiable.

This story was like the darkest chocolate! It was rich and very satisfying! I devoured it!!
I was swept into the darkness that surrounded Sebastian. Into his mind, his psychotic thoughts, and found that I liked him! Sebastian was a man who knew what he wanted. He was a "take charge" kind of a guy but, always thought out the pros versus the cons. I think that is what I loved about him the most!

When Sebastian meets Camille,an employee's girlfriend, a switch is tripped! He sets his sights on her and, nothing will stop him from getting what he wants! I couldn't wait to see If Sebastian would get what he wanted or, if he would be denied Camille!

I absolutely loved this story! The author made you love and understand Sebastian! You understand his thought process, and what makes him tick. Camille is also a very likable character. She is portrayed as very smart and sensitive. This story was dark but,was also very romantic! I highly recommend you read it! Reviewed For Reviews From The Heart

Sometimes, a book comes along that makes you squirm. Maybe, because you are totally uncomfortable, maybe because you are turned on, or it could be a bit of both. The Bad Guy is a bit of both for me. Sebastian Lindstrom is the bad guy in this story, the "White Knight" is Link, Sebastion's VP of Marketing in the company that Sebastian is the CEO of, then, there is Camille Briarlane. She's a teacher, biologist, and botanist. Most of all, she becomes the obsession of both men.

But as we get into this story, we start to wonder. We know Sebastian is not quite right. He doesn't process emotions like the rest of us, but he does do quite a bit for Camille that makes you say hmmm. Then there is our white knight, maybe he's not so white after all?

I absolutely loved this book! And I really liked Sebastian, where in the beginning, I was all for someone hitting him with a lead pipe. Camille is a cool customer, if not a bit much into her plants. And Mint? You'll love that kid!

Never in my life would I have thought to describe a psychopath as endearing, but that's truly the best description of Sebastian Lindstrom. Ms. Aaron did a phenomenal job describing each and every facet of his personality, down to the emotionless, detached persona that makes up his psyche. It was fascinating to read the chapters from his POV. I loved how his mind worked and rationalized his actions, especially those that were morally questionable. Our heroine, Camille, was a wonderful character as well. She was so passionate about her love for science and you could honestly believe how genuine she was. Her references to serial killers and movies about psychopaths were hilarious! Both characters were very well developed and I thought the storyline was unique. It held my attention the whole way through!

My only criticism is that the story was over too soon! Otherwise, this was by far my favorite book from the author to date. Can't wait to see what she had for us next!

Lawd have Mercy, where do I start!!! First off, anyone that knows me, knows that I am not an fan of dark romances but Celia Aaron is converting me. First, it was Blackwood and then Dark Protector. Both of which, I couldn't tear my eyes away from. Then she goes and drops Sebastian in my lap and I am blown away. When I first started reading this book and Sebastian was introduced, I seriously started to worry about Ms. Aaron. If I had not meet her at RT in Atlanta and found her to be so down to Earth, I would have thought this woman is absolutely crazy for having the mind set to come up with this whole plot. This is a book where it needs to speak for itself without any details. I just feel like anything I say, would give something away. I went in totally blind and was well rewarded. If you like dark, suspenseful, captivating and a total mind trip, then you will love this. Highly, highly recommend!! I can't even imagine what her brilliant mind will come up with next!

Evan a villian deserves love...
Sebastian Lindstrom is someone who doesn't understand normal human emotions. He was even labeled "psychotic" by his many physicians. When he meets Camielle at a work function, je is completely taken aback at his feelings for her. She was going to be his, no matter what it took. He stalked her, and when he saw his opportunity, he took it. Consequences be damned.
I actually completely fell in love with this book. Sebastian was the ultimate anti-hero. You wanted to hate him for his crimes, but you just couldn't. His actions may have been unethical, and immoral, but you could sympathize with him. Cammile brought out his human side. She was able to break through his "robot brain" and show him true, raw, emotion.
I'll be honest, when I went into this book, I thought it was going to be the same captive/captor book; we've read over and over again, but it was so much more. I was so very pleasantly surprised.

This book had me hook, line, and sinker the moment the American Psycho references rolled in. Nah, seriously, I enjoyed this a lot. It's SO hot and intentional or not, I found its hero adorable and sexy in all his psycho glory. Don't judge me. It's true. He's hilarious. I think what I like most about him is how direct he is and this childlike quality that he has in him. He did a lot of crazy, creepy stuff (he kidnapped the heroine after all!) and yet you find it believable that in his mind, these actions made so much sense. I also liked Camille for the most part and the author did a good enough job to make it believable why Sebastian was so into her. I love how all of her scenes with Sebastian has that underlying sexual tension.

My only gripe is that it became predictable and formulaic towards the end. I felt that things happened way too conveniently for my liking.

Any one who reads Celia Aaron knows that her mind is deviously twisted in the most wonderful way. The dark and twisted plots filled with the most irredeamable hero's that you love to hate, only to love later. Totally rooting for him to come to the light. I love that our heroine is never a wilting lily ( or in this case the most delicate orchid ) you will have to read the book to get the reference. The hot push and pull of our wonderfully written cast is something that pulls you in and won't let you go. Every member of this delicious book works towards a culmination that leaves you totally satisfied. I hate to give the storyline away thats what blurbs are for instead I choose to focus on the wonderful experience that I received from reading this book. I hope that you will take the time to read this exciting book. And enjoy the twisted story of Sebastain and Camille. You wont regret it

What the? Ummmmmmmmm....Psycho. but, in a good way (is that possible?) So you know how sometimes in the movies you cheer for the bad guy, just because? Well if not, be prepared because you will now. Sebastian Lindstrum will change your mind!

Camille is an unsusupecting science teacher that has unknowingly caught the eye of her boyfriend's boss. Sebastian is a man with a secret. And that secret is bad news for Camille....or is it? That's all I can discuss because I didn't see the plot twist coming based on the blurb so I can't spoil it for anyone else. Just know that Celia Aaron pulled off love at first sight with a weird twist and made it work fantastically. To the point where I almost felt weird enjoying the book as much as I did because the phrase WTF was uttered more than once. Seriously though, I love dark and twisty so this book worked for me.

If you prefer fluff over anything with bite then I wouldn't necessarily recommend it but if you like engaging and entertaining reads then you should give it a try! The Bad Guy was a book that I won't mind re-reading when I want the little thrill of the not so normal and some great steamy parts!!

PSYCHOPATH [sahy-kuh-path] noun
1. a person with a psychopathic personality, which manifests as amoral and antisocial behavior, lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships, extreme egocentricity, failure to learn from experience, etc.

that's the bare definition of the medical term and here, in this story, Celia Aaron took it and freely created one of the most intriguing characters and anti-heroes, and yet she stayed out of the "typical" notion you would instantly get from reading the very word.
But yes, Sebastian Lindstrom is a highly inteligent man, a CEO of the forestry empire Business and yes, a total antisocial, hard in posture psychopath who "learned" to "read" the basic emotions from people's faces and body language to circle in society, since he lacks of any of those, himself. What seems to work perfectly for his business transactions, his personal life is non-existent and void in the emotional segment and yet he accepts it and works within in, not seeing the "problem" of being emotionless until he sees her - Camille Briarlane
"She spoke to me, her body, her eyes - all of her. i could read her, no guess work needed. Perhaps that was what drew me to her in the first
place, the way she telegraphed her emotions directly to me, as if we were connected by a thin, invisible wire."
The very first glance into her eyes, set smth off in him... and this "miracule" beauty embodied every inner pulse in Sebastian that made him react in the only way he knew how. Act - take - own, no matter the fact she was already taken, no matter the fact that she had a life of her own, work, friends...he had to own her. NOW.
"Was it wrong? Yes. Did I give a shit? No."
the game of cat and mouse, the kidnapping and making her "see" the destined way of the two of them being together forever and ever, slowly makes Camille adjust to the hidden ways of Sebastian's personality. He's a psycho, yes, but in his own weird way, he slowly gains her trust and reaches into her heart, just as she's changing his...
"I'm drawn to your spark of darkness the same way you're drawn to the ocean of mine."
basically, Sebastian's wired this way and she's only bringing out the awkward, weirdy way of actions as he's trying to accomodate everything so she can feel safe and protected within his care...until she finaly lays her emotions bare for him
"I'd do anything for you. Except let you go."
and yet inspite of every single psycho impulse in him, he will do just that...

This is probably one of the best male characters, apart from Cash Remington, LOL that Celia Aaron created, so far, even though the actions of this anti-hero should and are considered as wrong and are a part of the dark, it's not actually a dark genre, per se. It's also written in a slower pace with multiple interchangable POVs with emphasis on the two main characters. The way shown through that darkness is a straight line towards the silver lining. It's a journey of two people finding each other under the unlikely circumstances, it's about acknowledgment and acceptance and in fact realization that there are different kinds of love...outside of known limits and labels.

POV: First Person – Multiple

"She was mine even if I have to steal her"

Camille Briarlane was a biology teacher where she found joy helping other kids learn and at the same time learning more of her profession. She was really close to her students and cared for them. Because of her career she wasn't ready to settle yet. Dating for now was just ok but more commitments were something she wasn't willing to do just yet. At least she thought it was because of her dreams and goals however later on she realizes she was missing sparks in her relationship as well.

Sebastian Lindstrom grew up knowing he was different than everyone else and he accepted it. He still worked really hard thought to be where he was as the CEO of the company his father built. He has never fallen in love before until he meets Camille at one of his company's dinner. Her boyfriend was employed by his company. Sebastian was immediately attracted to her in a really possessive and crazy way.

"You’re light, but you crave the dark. You crave me. "

I enjoyed this story very much; I liked how Camille and Sebastian connected in an intimate level right away which made Camille questioned her feeling for her boyfriend. Sebastian was making her feel things she didn't really want with her own boyfriend. However; I felt like Sebastian said he was the devil a lot but didn't showed it haha. He did more nice things to her than bad things which weren't really bad either. I do have to say that at first the actions he made kind of irritated me a bit because I didn't find it necessary in my mind but I guess his mind worked different.

“I'm drawn to your spark of darkness the same way you're drawn to the ocean of mine."

Overall, I liked how the author put this book together and made a really enjoyable ride. We had some suspense moments, some intense and steamy moments and overall it ends great. Readers looking for a contemporary book with a bit of dark feels to it will really enjoy this story.

A copy was kindly gifted to me. Thank you so much.

Camille is a beautiful biology teacher. While attending an event for her boyfriend, she is introduced to Sebastian, the CEO of the company her boyfriend works for. There is instant chemistry. This is where it would have ended if Sebastian were a normal man. But he isn't. And this is just the beginning of their tale because Sebastian is a psychopath and he has never felt chemistry before Camille. Therefore he is taking her and making her his, regardless of how she feels about it.

The chemistry between Camille and Sebastian was so palpable, I loved it. The push and pull between them was exciting to read and the nonchalance of Sebastian was perfect for a character with mental issues. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was that I wished Celia Aaron would have pushed his character a little further. I think it was a little safe and probably done on purpose to keep the book more mainstream acceptable, but I really would have loved to see Sebastian behave like a true psychopath.

More than anything, this book was HOT. Sebastian had the dirty talk down to a science:

“If you sat on my face, I’d be more than happy to suffocate, just so long as you came first. And I can guarantee you would.” He licked his lips.

I fell in love with this psychopath. He may not have had many feelings and emotions, other than selfishness but when it came to Camille, he was different. Not only sexually, but also genuinely trying to make her happy. It really made me love him. And Camille was just as lovable. She may have been a smart girl but Sebastian would be hard for anyone to resist.

The ending was perfect, if predictable but I didn't care because I needed to see everything come to completion the way it did. Celia is a very smart author and this book was a fantastic read.

Camille Briarlane had an unrestrained passion for knowledge. As a biology teacher, she found satisfaction in molding her students into future leaders. On the surface, her personal life with her stable boyfriend looks as good as her professional one, but deep down inside she was craving for something more.

Sebastian Lindstrom knew he was different since he was young. Even though born with a silver spoon, he worked hard to get to where he was now. As the CEO of his family's company, he was no stranger in acquisition and when he laid his eyes on her, he knew he had to have her by any means necessary.

Anti heroes have of way in creeping into readers’ hearts including mine. So of course I couldn't resist meeting this one.

At first, I thought Sebastian would be a dark character, but I quickly learned he is not. In traditional sense, his inner self and his actions were dark, but it was portrayed with a lighter, casual feel. I like how he had a strong sense of self, but sometimes I feel he used it too much as an excuse.

What I love the most about Camille is how she won't settle. She knew what's best for herself and took measures to get it.

It was interesting to see their interactions with each other. Both of them ended up in an unfamiliar situation. She was subtly feisty while he was at some points adorably awkward. However, since I'm inclined to darkness, I was hoping for the story to have a darker tone.

I do like the attraction between them. The tension was subtle but it worked well. The sex scenes were limited but they certainly made up by the hotness.

The Bad Guy presents the story of two people finding another side of themselves and adapting to it. It would appeal to readers looking for a lighter shade of dark sexy read.

This story kept me guessing at every turn. The feels are off the charts and I absolutely loved all of these characters...well with the exception of the real bad guy.

Sebastian is dark and twisty and I loved every inch of him. Camille was his perfect mate, she just didn't realize it at first. I crashed through every single emotion with them, their insecurity, the possessiveness, the fear, the acceptance, the resignation and at last, the love. Sebastian is so broken you can't help but want to wrap him up and make him better and Camille is the only one strong enough to make that happen.

If you love someone, set them free, if they come back, it was meant to be. But, good heavens how I loved the chase.

This book is not for the faint of heart, but I absolutely loved it. Thank you Celia Aaron.

So Sebastian isn't your typical protagonist. Yeah he's a rich, hot, sexy CEO, but he's also batsh!t crazy. I mean, he could get the girl of his dreams if he knew the more standard protocol to land said dream girl, without having to resort to possibly kidnapping her. I'm almost certain that wouldn't get him a second date. Camille is now the object of his affections and desire....except she's already got her BAE. Of course that's of no issue to Sebastian, cause what he wants he gets...or he'll take.

Now, that should make you despise him. But there's something about him that innately calls to you and stops you from running the full court press on him and you find yourself waiting for the next move. I love Camille though, she's feisty and sassy with plenty of intelligence and she's the type of person who doesn't meet strangers, she meets friends. Her life is going along just fine, thank you, until that moment when it all changes. I found Camille to be a character who's easy to relate to. I enjoyed the interactions between the two of them, because they definitely don't see eye-to-eye. Now, I will say that how Sebastian manipulated Camille into a relationship is definitely NOT the way to win over your intended, but I understand the motivation behind his unorthodox methods. Doesn't mean I agree, but I understand.

Who does not want to be kidnapped?
By Sebastian?
A rich, gorgeous, generous, thoughtfully dominating guy?

Well, I can run down the synopsis, explain the book to you, But why Read the spill about it, get the book and fall into love with this bad boy. This is Celia’s 3rd dark romance? Correct me if I am wrong. I think she found her genre dark erotica where the hero is never going to harm the heroine.

She once again touched my heart and soul with the book. Some of her scenes gave me goosebumps; some had tingles crawling down my skin; some melted my heart; wanted the shout at them.
Say it blond I am f….. in love with it.
The one and only part I liked changed better dragged out is at the end. I wanted more of Sebastian and Camille

Dark romance but not too dark, easy read, don't plan on getting any sleep when reading,

Celia Aaron has become one of my favorite dark romance authors as of late. She has the amazing ability to create the heroes we can't help but love and hate at the same time. The Bad Guy is no exception. In this novel she creates a sexy, devious and apathetic psychopath in Sebastian Lindstrom and true to form, the minute he sees our heroine Camille, it was "possession" at first glance. He needed to claim her and would allow nothing to stop him. This novel was absolutely fantastic and I could not get enough. Sebastian was wicked, dark, sexy, enthralling but so so delicious!

In this book, out on a work function with her boyfriend, Camille meets Sebastian and despite dating a perfect "white-knight" something is lacking in her relationship as she is drawn to the dark and mysterious Sebastian. Unbeknownst to her however, she is "claimed at first sight" and what follows is a sexy story of cat and mouse and the relationship between an obsessed man and the woman who is drawn to this "villain" and his dark side more than she'd like to admit.

I absolutely loved this novel and felt that Aaron created a character in Sebastian that we could not help but root for. I was completely drawn into their relationship and glued to the story from the first page. I absolutely can't wait for her next one as Ms. Aaron is an automatic one click author for me! Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula

Sebastian Lindstrom is the villain, the bad guy- the man you will hate to love, but you will love him. You won't be able to help yourself, you will question your morals and wonder what is wrong with you, but that is the magic of Celia Aaron's writing.
Sebastian wanted Camille and he didn't care that she was with someone else. He would have her even if he had to steal her. Camille is a biology teacher dreaming of going to the the store to study plants. She will have her adventure, just not the one she had hoped for
The Bad guy is told in multiple pov's, get ready for a dark and intense ride full of twist and turns. Celia Aaron is a master at making us fall for the anti-hero and this book is no different. Be prepared for a bookhanger for days. 1-Click this one and let Sebastian possess you.

Celia Aaron has become a new favorite of mine. The male characters that she writes can't be called "heroes". Every book that I've read of Mrs. Aaron's, the male characters are flawed and soo bad. But I love every one. Sebastian is now my favorite book boyfriend. How do you explain emotions to a psychopath? The writing of this character is superb. And Camille: she is no wimpy hostage. I very much enjoy that she is not content in her captivity, even as her feelings for Sebastian grow.
This was such a great book. I wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars. The sleep that I lost to finish was well worth it.

My favorite quote from this book:
When it doubt, wait it out. Emotions will always show what they're about.

HOLY S**T!! I'm in love with a psycho. This story was off the charts great from the plot, sex scenes, the characters.. EVERYTHING!! You must read this book on release day May 21st in order for you to understand this book. I have enjoyed all of Celia's books but The Bad Guy is by far my favorite!!

This book was awesomesauce! I ordinarily don't read dark romance, but I just couldn't resist the cover, and Celia Aaron is one of my faves, so I thought, why not. I don't have to finish it if I'm not enthralled, right? Let me tell you, I was hooked from word one. And while it is not as dark as some, it was so delightfully twisted, with such an endearing psycopath, that I totally fell in love. Sebastian took bad boy to a whole new level. 5+ stars for dangerous twisty word magic!

Admittedly, I was hooked on this book in the beginning. I knew what it involved going into the story and enjoyed the characters, their banter and their chemistry. I didn't like Link but honestly, I don't think I was supposed to. The problem is that a little over half through I stopped caring as much. The story just didn't seem to keep me hooked anymore. I found myself skipping and skimming quite a bit until about 80% through and while I got hooked again from that point, it wasn't enough to make me give a higher rating.

Uh that book was awesome...Our H was psycho! Like straight crazy and not in a traditional alpha way. Yes he was still hot & a billionaire but he was a different type of dominant!! And I freaking loved it! And while the whole kidnapping premise has been done before this story put such a weirdly romantic spin on it, you had to keep reading. No abuse, well other than kidnapping. And def left me with a book hangover.

Sebastian is a hot creepy dude. A psychopath that learns for his dad how to function in society. I haven't quite read anything like this! I actually really liked him (Not sure what that says about me). Camille was strong and fiesty but had a soft spot for people. I liked her character and I think her inner conflict was presented well. They were definitely hot together!
can you just kidnap the person you want? Well as Sebastian would say... Why not.

The Bad Guy by Celia Aaron was a Stunning, Captivating and Page Turning Read. Sebastian might be the villain but you will fall in love with him as you read the story. He is the bad guy but he makes you want more of him. Celia Aaron has written the story in such a way that you do not want to put it down.

I Highly Recommend this Fantastic Book to every reader out there. It is Simply Amazing.

I am kinda speechless...such a great romance story, and the writer is brilliant! I am for sure today going to read more of her works. Most women love the bad guy, a natural attraction to them, because as woman we love the challenge also the end game of winning over the bad guy. Make him truly fall in love with us too! This book distracted me at work for 2 days straight but who cares!! LOL
Can't wait to reread this again in a few short months :)

I love Sebastian. I love the way Celia Aaron writes her heros. Their dark but, they have that possessiveness over the heroines and it melds together in sheer awesomeness. I loved Camille, she thought of herself as a good girl. That she wanted him and the circumstances just messed her head up a little bit. Some girls, they just want a villain.

OMG so different than I thought it would be. Loved this book more than words can express. I have been in a book slump not really finding anything that "grabs me" and what a refresher this story was. the characters were amazing, well developed and strong. There was not a single character I hated reading from their point of view. Definitely found my new Hot Author to watch. Thank you Celia Aaron.

This book was absolutely fantastic! It grabbed my attention from the start of the prologue and didn't let go until the very last word of the epilogue. Sebastian is the perfect anti hero and I loved the strength that Camille demonstrated throughout the story. This is a must read!

I’m someone who reads probably two or more books a day, yet I’ve never cared enough to leave a review. This book however is amazing.

It’s more on the darker side of romance that I’ve never explored before but I’m glad that I took the chance with this one.

I’ll leave as few spoilers below as I possibly can:

Sebastian is a rich, tall, dark and handsome psycho (I’ve read people comparing him to dexter and it kind of see that in him, except for the killing serial killers part) whose father cared for deeply. So much so that he did everything possible to understand his kid and try to guide him in the right direction despite his condition.

Everything seemed to be going ‘normal’ in his life until the moment he met Camille.

Camille is a teacher and it’s passionate about plants (probably not the best way to describe her profession but that’s not important right now) who has already found her good guy (or so I thought at first...) but felt the attraction for Sebastian when they met, not in the same way as him but she felt something.

Now, kidnaping her wasn’t the best approach, or a good and rational one, but who am i to judge? (I feel like I’m giving too much away, but not at all at the same time)

I’ve read some reviews that said that she forgave him too soon. I do not agree on that, she tried to scape a few times and gave him a (totally deserved) hard time when he tried to approach her.

And I’ve also read other reviews saying that she took way to long forgiving him. I don’t find that true either, she never gave up on herself and the idea of regain her freedom, not even after the sex or the nice words and promises. But was when she was granted what she asked for all along that she had the time to thing about everything going on.

Am I rambling? I feel like I am. This is a great book, I’m not getting pay to said that. I’m just grateful that this was free on kindle unlimited because if not I don’t thing I would’ve bought it ( not really into the dark stuff).

But I sure do love him. 5 stars. Highly recommend this. I loved it so much.

This book was incredible. Light and dark, it is the story of Sebastian. an psychopath, and Camille, the teacher no one truly know but Sebastian. She thinks she needs Link, a different type of monster, but she wants Sebastian. This is the story of the bad guy but really he's just the type of knight she needs! If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! An absolute must read!

I probably shouldn’t have even started this book, I couldn’t get past him trying to entice a woman away when she was already clearly in a relationship. I didn’t want him to win, nor did I care about either characters. Ah well.
