I enjoy the series, and this particular book has been one of my favorites, so far. His writing can be a bit repetitive, but overall it's an enjoyable read and intriguing enough to keep me coming back for more.

A good bit of world building that explored feminism and misogyny with a character who doesn't fall into the traditional traps that the reader immediately sees, instead exhibiting some refreshing intelligence and foresight.

There are always twists and clever turns in Nuttall’s stories - entertainment worth multiples of the price paid. You’ll not regret starting this series from book one, or any of his others, for that matter. Enjoy!
A Learning Experience, Book 1 :: The Gordian Knot (Schooled in Magic Book 13) :: The School of Hard Knocks (Schooled in Magic Book 5) :: Trial By Fire (Schooled in Magic Book 7) :: Study in Slaughter (Schooled in Magic Book 3)

The Schooled in Magic series are some of my favorite fiction books. I like the world, the characters, and the storytelling. I also enjoy the pacing of the series as a whole, alternating school years with summer breaks.

Author! I thought book 8 would end it.... Nope. I enjoyed 9, even with its Glaring Foreshadowing. Nicely tied up in this one! With enough background in world building that an 11th would be Fun! Or more. (*-*)

Bootstrap Paradox: look it up.

Or as best example: You're sitting at your desk. Suddenly you see yourself come through the door. Yourself tells you that they came from the future with a time machine and gives it to you. Then they die. You take the time machine. Have adventures, which then results in you going back in time and giving it to your younger self. See what happened there?

I love how Mr Nuttall took that idea and gave it another fun twist.

Good Job!

I was pleasantly entertained. And now my mind is now all timey wimey wibbly wobbly.

I guess Emily is a fixed point in space time? LOL.

Until the Tardis comes crashing through my door. Excelsior!!

I'll be around for the next ride!

AMAZING!!! Quite LITERALLY the BEST SERIES I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS!!! It takes no one less than a sheer genius to come up with such a fantastic world as Emily's Nameless World that Mr. Nuttall has so ingeniously created!!!

Become one of my must read series, only problem I had with this onewas that most of it happened in the past, so while interesting, I kept waiting for her to get back to current day. So I'm really looking forward to the next one ;)
