Wedding Hells (Schooled in Magic Book 8)

For this book Emily begins her recovery from the duel with Master Grey and gets more involved with the politics of Zangaria, all while attending the elaborate wedding of Alassa.

She still shows a disturbing apathy over the long term effects of her actions, impulsively following her unwavering idealist beliefs and blaming others for the outcomes. When others warn her of the risks she gets angry and yells at them... I hope she grows up eventually, even if she never fully outgrows her impulsivity.

After defeating Master Grey she does seem more confident.

Still very little on politics outside of Zangaria.

This is yet another excellent book in the Schooled in Magic series. This novel resolves many of the concerns and doubts readers had about Emily's roll in the Allied lands, as well as providing insight into the changes, to her magic, Emily has to contend with as her magic develops towards lone power levels.

Another excellent book in the series! This author continues to push out books in the series quickly, but still manages to not make the story stale. He also seems to write female characters better than most female authors. Can't wait for the next book.
