(A Princess Novel) (The Nine Princesses Book 1)

I thought this was an enjoyable book. It lacked a bit in transitions, but other than that I thought it was written well. This is a good book for middle school aged children or as a bad time story for younger kids. I myself read the book in a matter of hours. It was a splendid read; simple and sweet!

Light but not light, simple but not simple, I found this book to be a great read for escape. Yet, I could also use this book as a parable - stimulating discussion in book club for any age or mixed ages. Well done!

I purchased this for my 12 year old daughter and she wrote the above review. She is a voracious reader who enjoys fiction books with fantasy, adventure and action.

A cute story. However, the characters were extremely underdeveloped & lacked the depth to make them believable. The characters were also too stereo-typical. Why is the beautiful one always so self-absorbed?

I really enjoyed the story of the Nine Princesses. I'm glad it's a clever and deeply engrossing story without anything objectionable as many books have nowadays. I will encourage my daughters to read it. Thank you.

I love this book. It's wonderfully written, with humor, adventure, and romance. The only thing is, it needs to be longer. I was extremely disappointed when the book ended. It took me about 30 minutes to read, therefore giving the impression that the book was short. Anita Valle is very talented: she should make her books longer, though. -Sierra Martos, 'HttydFan95'.

I enjoyed this novella, a lot was covered in only 78 pages and I absolutely can't wait to get the next book. I can usually see a twist coming and figure it out but I didn't see the twists in this story until I was figuring out with the other characters. Well done, I hope to see more from this Indie author soon :-)

I loved every minute of this book. The suspense that built and the moments were it touched your heart. Every moment is a time where you don't want to put the book down. An amazing book that will keep you begging for more by the end. I know j am!

I liked it, but.... well, there were some things that bugged me. Like how the books she read were all titled alliterations. Stuff like that. nor really that big, but they kept me from enjoying the book more. Would i buy the sequel? Yeah, if the price was lowered. But the sequel already cost less than two dollars, so it's not likely, not unless i run out of stuff to read.

The story is entertaining and kept me turning pages. It was nice that it was free but would be worth buying. The author had light style and made the book an easy read. I finished in a day reading off and on. I look forward to reading the second book. The series seems promising.

I really enjoy my reading life. This book brought me lots of laughs and lots of clean good pictures. I think that the best writers are those who keep things clean, without language, or explicit intimacy scenes.

Here I am poking around Kindle for the first time, and I find a free book? Okay, why not.

Best. Decision. Ever.

This book will open a door to an amazing series that you will not be able to put down. The story is entirely unique and the characters are captivating. Thus far Maelyn is my favorite princess. When I started reading, I had thought at first that this story was going to be fairly predictable, but enjoyable. I was half-wrong. It was enjoyable beyond a doubt, but HOLY THUMBS it is far from predictable. You will not be disappointed!

I do not usually rate books. I was pleasantly surprised by this book, I did not want to put it down. It had some twits and turns I did not expect but really enjoyed. I can not wait for the next book in this series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Maelyn is a refreshing young adult book suitable for Middle school and over! Absolutely loved the individual princesses and can't wait to learn more about each one. Only complaint is that it is too short. I understand that it is a Novella and novellas are just that...short...but I didn't want the story to end. That's saying alot!
