Great cookbook, nice quality & always like a cookbook with photos. The recipes are perfect for anyone wanting healthy recipes, Megan's are excellent, easy and by far the best. I'm trying to eat cleaner, eat fresh foods, a little bit Paleo and a lot of anti-inflammatory choices and this book has all of that. If there is a recipe that I can't consume I can usually tweak it to fit my food preferences but that is mostly flours and certain grains so I just pass over those...there are so many excellent choices in this book. I've given a couple as gifts and my copy is getting all marked up with notes and stars for marking my faves. Thanks for this delicious cookbook, Megan Gilmore!

Usually I try something new and feel better for a little while and then take a dip. But the energy I felt today by following the food combining guidelines has been so fantastic, I had to write a review. When I first read those pages I was doubtful because I didn't think I could stay sated, but so far so good and I am amazed that there's been no post-lunch lag and no pre-dinner downer. If that doesn't last I'll re-post but give it a try! The book is beautiful and very user-friendly. And I don't have ANY affiliation with the author whatsoever, no advance copy, etc., but I'm very grateful for her style.

Both of her books are wonderful resources on real life ways to step up healthy meals. I enjoy cooking, but get bored making the same thing. I really like the variety these books have added to my everyday cooking.

I collect cookbooks. Well I mean since my college days I buy beautifully printed cookbooks with intentions of making the enticing recipes but most of the time I try one recipe and the cookbook is left sitting on the shelf collecting dust. I've probably own 40 cookbooks like this. Then couple years ago when I was pregnant and wanting to eat healthier I stumbled upon the Detoxinista website. Main reason I started making her recipes is that her ingredient list are pretty short and most things are easy to get at my local grocery stores. But most of the time, I have the ingredients on hand already so it was easy to follow. I made one dessert recipe and it turned out so good. Then I made another one and another one. Then I started bringing the treats I made to parties and everyone raved about them and wanting the recipes. Then I hosted a brunch with several treats from her website and everyone asked for the recipes. So I kept trying more recipes from her website, all were winners. So when Megan announced that she was publishing a cookbook, it was a no-brainer to buy it. So far I've made at least 15 recipes from the book and have repeated some of them many times because they were just so good. Her cookbook is pretty much the only one I reach for for the past several months.

I pre-ordered Megan's cookbook and have thoroughly enjoyed trying out the easy-to-follow recipes ever since it arrived on my doorstep from the store! My favoritesso far are the dressings, especially the Creamy Jalapeno, Greek, and Honey Dijon. I have also made the homemade Almond Milk and coffee creamer, and the strawberry lime sorbet and banana soft serve for dessert. I can also recommend the "Beef" and Broccoli, and Cauliflower Fried "Rice" recipes for dinner - they were both delicious! My family has loved whatever I have prepared from her blog or this fantastic cookbook. I look forward to trying the many other recipes, I am sure I will not be disappointed, and neither will you if you purchase this cookbook!

I'm no stranger to healthy eating, and have tried Vegan, Paleo, and gluten free diets in order to deal with GI and autoimmune issues. I've come to believe, after many years, that the healthiest thing to do is eat real food. It's that simple. Organic, whole foods. Nothing processed. I absolutely love Everday Detox because the recipes are quick and easy, and delicious. They are easily adaptable for vegetarians and omnivores. Breakfast Chia Pudding is my new favorite. I highly recommend this book if you're looking for new inspiration for healthy eating!!

Very nice book with good recipes. The reason for 3 stars is that the font is very very small. Not user friendly.
If not for this I would have rated higher. Disappointed. Please note: no problem reading other books. To the publisher:
Why? Did not anyone notice this fact.

AMAZING cookbook! This is the first time that I've been excited to try EVERY recipe in a cookbook! The recipes are simple and delicious. I recommend doubling the recipes so you can have leftovers-you will want them! And your family will too!

I follow Megan Gilmore socially online and thought this might be redundant, however, it is not. I am pleased as punch that the majority, if not all, the recipes will be made out of this cookbook. I am usually disappointed with cookbooks, but not this one. I also purchased because of the announcement she had made on her site recently that this was on sale.

Inspiring recipes using clean, wholesome ingredients. Cauliflower pizza fantastic! Highly recommended. Recipes simple and doable. A few gadgets like food processor help speed things along. Beautiful photography as well. Really helps you visualize your creations.

Gilmore has an interesting approach to healthful eating. Her plan advocates not eating certain groups of food together at one time. While this concept takes some adjustments in thinking and eating, she offers plenty of examples for someone following the plan. There are lots of recipes to support the everyday detox, which is appealing to those trying to live a healthier lifestyle. Even though the grouping of foods could be tedious at first, the recipes make this book a winner even if one does not follow the plan.
