isadventures of a College Girl by Lauren Rowe is a Must Read!!!!!! This book!!! I always know that I am going to love a Lauren Rowe book, however Tyler and Zooey just blew me away. My words will not do justice to this magnificent story, yet I will surely try to pay tribute to Lauren Rowe and her storytelling abilities. First there is the fantabulous Tyler; he is a hero for all heroes with his athleticism, intelligence, sweetness, determination, and swooning sexiness, and his devotion to Zooey. Zooey is sweet, a bit naive, full of life, caring, smart, sassy, and determined woman. Together they make one exceptional couple. All of Lauren's books have witty, fun, smart, laugh out loud banter, and this book surpasses all of her other books. From the very first page, I was invested in this EPIC love story. It has all the feels one expects in a love story. Every emotion is covered in this book. I laughed, cried, swooned, clapped, was heartbroken, and ecstatic! I love the college references, and the music playlist is the Bomb, plus the movie and play nods are incredible. From start to finish, the characters in this book held me captive, and still do. And the epilogue is the very best. Just a must read for any and all readers. Lauren never ever disappoints no matter what or who she writes about. Her intelligent, witty, funny, sweet, loving, and exceptional dialogue will live forever. For an Epic love story, pick up and read Misadventures of a College Girl by Lauren Rowe, and if you have not read her books, then go and start!!!

Where to begin!! I honestly did not want this book to end! Lauren Rowe will have you captivated with every book she has written, but this one Holy Moly, take me back to my younger years please haha. Exceptional read once again

I am literally bursting with LOVE for this book! It was like the merging of all of my favorite things into one story. From the songs/music highlighted (Harvey Danger, George Michael, to the musical Wicked), the pop culture references, and to the fantastic location at UCLA - it was pure perfection from start to finish. There were times while reading that I thought that the author was inside my head. Lauren Rowe and I are clearly twinsies.

Misadventures of a College Girl was such an awesome new adult/college sports romance. It was fun, sweet, and so sexy. Tyler may have come across initially as a cocky douchebag, but it was his vulnerability, drive, and thoughtfulness that won me over. I really enjoyed the playful banter and innuendo between him and Zooey and that she didn't let his charm turn her into a swooning fangirl - well, at least not all the time. ;) Their meet cute may have leaned more to the lust driven side than cute, but what ended up developing between them was organic and natural. I loved that there wasn't any unnecessary drama and that the story focused on Tyler and Zooey. The obstacles they face are realistic and honest. I respected both characters immensely for not letting their dreams fall by the wayside and for being true to themselves.

This modern day Romeo and Juliet story will have you laughing and swooning. I could not have had a bigger smile on my face and a happier heart when I finished. Can't recommend this book enough!

I promised a strictly spoiler free review so, in a nutshell, Zooey Cartwright is a freshman theater major at UCLA, looking to lose her V card, and her heart goes into overdrive when she catches the eye of hunky football player Tyler Caldwell at her first college party. Since there is a mutual sizzling attraction, and neither is looking for a relationship, she thinks the arrogant yet UTTERLY DELISH jock with the heart-stopping smile will fit the bill quite nicely. And the best part? He’s GAME! So they head on upstairs to his room and…well, if you want to find out what happens next you gotta read cause MY LIPS ARE SEALED!

MY MUSINGS:
I will preface my thoughts by saying that I make ZERO apologies for my shameless gushing! The utterly brilliant Lauren Rowe scored major TOUCHDOWN with this hearttuggimg tale, and I just fell so hard in love with MISADVENTURES OF A COLLEGE GIRL I can hardly contain my excitement!! It's love and laugher, sizzling hotness and swoony sweetness, silly shenanigans and warm, mushy feels all rolled up into one UBER TANTALIZING package!!

As other reviewers have said, MISADVENTURES OF A COLLEGE GIRL is trademark LR. Once again, she crafts a wildly innovative plot that’s brimming with heartwarming emotion, witty banter, outrageously clever catchphrases, pitch perfect comedic timing and endearingly memorable characters that just SHINE!

Gah! This author can write lickable heroes like NO ONE’S BUSINESS, and can I say how darn SCRUMPTIOUS Tyler is? On the surface, this big, dark haired, gloriously muscled and gorgeously tatted hottie may appear to be your stereotypical jock. Yet there is so much more to this brazenly sexy stud than meets the eye!

Tyler may be a savage beast on the football field but “Mr. God’s Gift to Womankind” most definitely earned himself his rightful place in my MVP BBF Hall of Fame! He’s loyal. Thoughtful. Gentle. Kind. Funny. Sweet. Chivalrous. Charming. Protective. Hot in the sack. Bottom line? He just OWNED my heart! And as it turns out a sweetly besotted Zooey’s too!

And for the record, this heroine was bff material too. I JUST LOVED ZOOEY TO PIECES! I relished her sass and spirit, her smart, fun-loving nature, her quirky sense of humor, her adorable dorky personality and her big, beautiful heart. Plus, this spunky Broadway wannabe has got tons of talent and an amazing set up pipes! I totally rooted for her to fulfill her every aspiration AND land the football hottie of her dreams!

Talk about a couple that clicks from page one and OOZES chemistry! Ty and Zooey were so vibrant and real, charming and charismatic, and so darn LOVABLE they leapt off the page and firmly implanted themselves in my heart!! This dynamic duo just totally ticked off all my boxes! Their rapid fire banter was a total riot, their sweet, soul deep connection gave me with giddy butterflies, and I was so swept up in their passionate youthful exuberance and shared dreams of achieving greatness it made my toes curl!

Bottom line? If any couple was "written in the stars,” it's these two darling oddballs!

As for the side characters …they were equally colorful and flamboyant, and not only helped flesh out the central romance but added OODLES of comic relief! And, finally, I thought Ms. Rowe did a stellar job of immersing us in the exciting world of college football –in fact, some of the action sequences were so thrillingly choreographed , I felt like I was right there in the stadium, cheering Tyler and his teammates on during game day!

Ultimately, MISADVENTURES OF A COLLEGE GIRL scored a MEGA WIN!

I’m absolutely SMITTEN! I’m a SMITTEN KITTEN over this freaking book! I just realized how much I’ve missed Lauren Rowe’s writing! She put the swoon in swoon-worthy with her latest romance, MISADVENTURES OF A COLLEGE GIRL! In it, we meet Zooey and Tyler. A freaking ADORABLE couple from two very different sides of the campus! After a disaster of a failed attempt to lose her V-Card to the sexy hung of man, a sort of beautiful friendship blossoms between the two. Tyler wants to try again, of that we are well aware of, but Zooey is no longer capable of feeling indifferent towards Tyler, so sex is OFF the table. If Tyler is anything, he is persistent and day by day he breaks down Zooey’s walls. Will she be able to leave her heart out of it? A relationship was so far out of Tyler’s mind it is ridiculous, but something about his feisty freshman turns him on in all ways. He is determined to be her first, but will he also be her last?

“It’s all going to work out for us, pretty baby. And you know why? Because we’re written in the stars.”

I mean…COME ON! This man has ruined me for all other men! He’s a sweet talker, definitely a dirty talker, and he will make you swoon from head to toe! I loved this coupling SO MUCH. I loved their story and I crave more of this author’s writing! Lauren Rowe, oh how I’ve missed you! Thank you for bringing me to my happy place over and over again!

Misadventures of a College Girl by Lauren Rowe happens to be book#9 in the Misadventure series and wow what a sizzling and exciting read!!! Lauren Rowe has written yet another fantastic story and this is Tyler & Zooey’s story. The chemistry between Zooey and Tyler was sizzling and hot right from the very beginning. I really don't want to give any spoilers because I want you to read and experience this story and find out how awesome this story is, just like I did. I want you to fall in love with Tyler and Zooey just as I did…The journey that I went on with Zooey and Tyler, OMG was so amazing, so epic and just amazingly beautiful that you do not want to miss one single moment. What I can tell you is this story delivers on the powerful love story, it delivers on a hero with a heart that you want to keep forever and a heroine who is so beautiful and such a sweet girl that has such an adorable innocence about her. This is a story that I found myself laughing, sighing, at times getting angry and panting along in passion with these characters. I went thru the highs and the lows right along with Tyler and Zooey and enjoyed every moment. Lauren Rowe has a way of creating these authentic, believable, relatable, awesome, phenomable characters that I am addicted and never want to come out of her books.

I absolutely loved this book. It contained all of my favorite troupes, college, football, kind of enemies-to-lovers with a side of friends-to-lovers. Honestly, it was just everything I look for in a NA romance.

Zooey and Tyler were both fantastic MCs. I wasn't sure how much I was going to like Zooey because of how unceremoniously she wanted to lose her virginity. Normally I'm not a fan of h's who just pick a guy at a party and are willing to give up on such an important part of yourself, but the whole scenario played out really well. She realized she needed to respect herself and the situation. Throughout the whole book she was very level headed, even when most people would have given up. She was written in a very relatable and realistic way.

Tyler..oh man. Tyler is my new book boyfriend. Generally in this troupe, the football player is a complete alpha jerk. Tyler was almost the exact opposite. He was definitely alpha, but he was so sweet and caring and he treated Zooey with nothing but respect.

I loved the slight turn of events that caused the angst in this book. It wasn't at all what I was expecting.

Overall, I highly recommend this book if you love NA college sports romance. I've only read a few of Lauren Rowe's book, but this one combined with the others have convinced me to read the others.

I gotta say, I've really been enjoying these Misadventures books. What a wonderful idea, and a great way to discover new-to-me authors, like Lauren Rowe! I love me some new adult romance, so Misadventures of a College Girl was nearly at the top of my Misadventures TBR. Once I saw it was available through my library on Hoopla, I made time to dive right in. It was a fun and sexy romp, and it was not without a bit of emotion, too.

If I'm being totally honest, when I started this book, I wasn't sure it was going to work for me. Zooey was an odd mix of naive and promiscuous and Tyler appeared to be the type of arrogant, manwhore hero that doesn't really work for me. But, it was a short audiobook and I was interested in seeing where the story went, so I kept listening. I'm really glad I did, too, because I was definitely pleasantly surprised by the story here.

Before it was all said and done, I'd seen another side of both Zooey and Tyler and I was shamelessly shipping them, hoping they could be something more than short-term friends with benefits. I'm not going to say much more about the story because of spoilers, but I just love how everything came together for them. And possibly even more, I loved how both characters grew throughout this novella. Their romance was super sweet, delivering the laughs I wanted, the sexy times I expected and a fair few feels, too.

Since I'm reviewing the audiobook, I should probably note that Lauren read it herself. I've always been a bit skeptical of authors reading their own books when said book is fiction, but it worked for me. I think she did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. Color me impressed.

Where do I even begin...I can honestly say no matter what I write, I will not do this book justice. Misadventures of a College Girl is hands down going to be one of the best books I’ll read in 2018. Maybe even ever. Lauren Rowe is so freaking incredible. And magical. And inspiring. Her words are beautiful and her mind is extraordinary. With every book she writes you know you will be getting 100% of her-no matter what the story is. And because of that she will have a forever fan in me.

Misadventures of a College Girl is full of charm, humor, and SO MUCH HEART! So much that my heart literally was bursting at the seams while reading it. These characters felt so real to me. Their actions, their feelings-I felt them. I’m telling you I could not put this book down.

Zooey was the perfect heroine. She had just started at UCLA and was determined to let loose and live her life. And also lose her virginity. Her roommate has the perfect place to find someone. A party. Zooey had every intention to follow through with that plan but when Tyler walks in...it changes everything.

“I’m going to lose my virginity tonight to God’s Gift to Womankind. And it’s going to be oh-so good.”

Tyler Tyler Tyler...what can I say about this beautiful man. He is a football player looking to make it big. He gets women thrown at him left and right and knows how to score bigtime! But when Zooey propositions him he can’t say no. What was supposed to be a short little rendezvous turned into the biggest game of his life…the question is-will he go for the Hail Mary or will he make the biggest mistake ever and fumble...

“And, just like that, you’re a lifelong memory, Tyler Caldwell.”

Together, this couple oozed chemistry. They were hilarious and adorable. Their journey was breathtakingly beautiful. I really don’t know how Ms. Rowe is going to top this story but I am 100% confident that she will find a way!

“No matter what happens, one day we’ll look back on the twists and turns of our lives and say, ‘I wouldn’t change a thing because it got me to where I am right now, and right now is awesome.’ You’ll see. Everything happens for a reason. I firmly believe that.”

Misadventures of a College Girl might be my new #1 favorite by Lauren Rowe, or at least up there with current favorite by her. Perfectly written in Lauren Rowe's signature way, it is a MUST-read for fans of rom-com new adult books. Misadventures of a College Girl will make you laugh out loud, turning up the AC because the chemistry between Zooey and Tyler was explosive, and having the BEST time.

I love Zooey and Tyler so much!! Zooey is your bright-eyed freshman theater major looking to lose her V card and Tyler is your junior big man on campus football star. They met at a party and Zooey knew that Tyler is the perfect guy to do the deed. His reputation for giving his sexual partner orgasms precedes him, he's sexy, and, most importantly to Zooey, he's not looking for a relationship. And with that Tyler and Zooey comes together and we get the funniest, steamiest, dirtiest, most swoon-y new adult romance I've read so far this year.

Zooey is the best! She's sassy and one of those "cup is half" full kind of happy people that I just love reading about because they make me smile. I love how she embraces her sexual nature and takes to Tyler's "miseducation" (haha) like a sponge.

Tyler is just plain swoon. At first glance he seems like a jerk, and then you get to know him and like HOLY COW! I want my own Tyler Caldwell! He's just perfect. The last 20% just freaking killed me because Tyler was the absolute BEST book boyfriend ever.

Zooey and Tyler together was pure, dirty fun. They both cracked me up with their banter and their running jokes, but when they're not rocking each other's world they have this beautiful friendship too. I love that we got to see them not only in college, but also out of college and the epilogue was just the cherry on top. I absolutely love everything in this book. I wish it was longer because I wasn't ready to leave my babies.

Lauren Rowe hit it out the park with Misadventures of a College Girl. There are a bunch of "Misadventures" books written by other authors and if you're looking to pick one up but not sure which one to start with I HIGHLY recommend Misadventures of a College Girl. It is Lauren Rowe at her best and you will get to meet Zooey and Tyler who are two of the most fun new adult characters you will ever meet.

This book. Oh my goodness. Thiiiiiis booooook! First, I love a strong female main character. It seems so many romance books have leading ladies who are mousy and insecure and the leading men are alpha and controlling. Zooey was refreshingly strong and smart and witty. I loved how even though she was feeling or thinking certain things, she was able to pull her sh*t together and put on a strong face and pull through. So many times in these kinds of books the girls go all crazy and run for the hills or lose their minds in the most over dramatic fashion and it's so childish. But Zooey handled life's lemons the way I would expect an adult to handle them, even though she was only eighteen. As for Tyler, my goodness, I've never loved a leading man more. He was the perfect man, especially for being so young. First, the way he respected and cared for Zooey, even before he knew her well enough, was so heartwarming. The way he fell in love with her so quickly and wanted her as a part of his life was precious. Then the way he refused to let her give up on her dreams, making sure she never put anything before that was just incredible. Most guys in romance books will do the childish things like break up with a girl pretending he doesn't want her anymore so she can go live a better life or refused to let a girl go and be a helicopter boyfriend until he can become a helicopter husband. It was refreshing to see a leading man didn't make stupid rash decision but still was able to put the woman he loved first, even over his own heart and feelings. And their love was just... everything. Without giving it away there was a moment where he broke down in front of her and I lost it, too. Their love is just so much more than anything I've read in a long time and I wanted to hang onto it forever. This is the first and only book I've ever read where as soon as I finished reading it I started it over again. I just wasn't ready to let these two go. Do yourself a favor and get to know Zooey and Tyler.

I've read quite a few of the Misadventures books, but I didn't specifically loved any of them with the exception of the previous one written by the lovely Lauren Rowe, Misadventures on the Night Shift. Well, at least until now. Even though, Misadventures on the Night Shift was great, in my opinion, Misadventures of a College Girl was even better. There was just something about Tyler and Zooey's story that captured my heart. It is romantic, sweet, a little bit heartbreaking and definitely HOT. Which, of course, is not that surprising considering how scorching that bad boy Tyler is :D

But this book is so much more than a typical NA story as you would expect considering the main characters are still in college. Yes, it is about college love, but it is also about following your dreams and finding a way to do that and be with the one person who holds your heart in his hands. Though it might be difficult, and at times even look impossible, it is about having the strength and believe that one they you will be back together again

Apart from that heavy and a little bit heartbreaking notion, there is also so much humour in the story. The banter between Tyler and Zooey is simply hilarious. The way they interact with each other hints at the feelings developing between them and gives the sweet, romantic and lighthearted feel for the bigger part of the story. And for me, that's what made this book an intriguing and fast read. I just couldn't put it down. I was so immersed in the love story developing between the two characters :)

So if you are in the mood for a sweet, romantic and funny story with a pinch of heartbreak but with a HEA, then you should definitely pick yourself a copy. I can guarantee that you won't regret it. I fell in love with these characters and their story and I think this is a book every romance loving bookworm out there should read ;)

Dear Lord, please have mercy of this bookworm because Lauren Rowe has done it again! She delivered the most intense and heart-warming Sports Romance I have the pleasure to read. It was a sinful and thrilling experience. Misadventures of a College Girl is a must read with capital letters. This time Lauren gifted us a stunning story where two young souls will discover a deep feeling in college time. They will give a new meaning (and a new fate) to Romeo and Juliet’s love story.

I was captivated by the first pages of this masterpiece. This book made me feel a lot. I laughed and cried. It’s been a long time since I read a good sports romance like this. The plot is unique and well developed. The pace is fast and when you least expect it, you've finished the book. I was deeply immersed in the story. There is not cliché. This is not the typical story where the good girl fell for the douchebag of college. This is something more deep and intimate.

Who can resist a cocky football player who has the looks of Loki? (Brownie points for the reference of my antihero crush) Tyler Caldwell will break the stereotype of a football player. He is cocky and sexy as hell but he has a big and genuine heart. If perfect boys exits, they all be like Tyler Caldwell.

On the other hand we have a sassy and innocent heroine: Zooey. She is the good and pure girl who thanks to her efforts has managed to enter the university to fulfil her dreams. She is young and wants to experience everything that life has to offer to her. And she will do it. Tyler will make sure of it.

The attraction between Zooey and Tyler will strong and heavy. Just the thought of them together cause me goosebumps over my skin. Their fate is written in the stars. I will never see with the same eyes Romeo and Juliet’s love story because it will always remind me of Zooey and Tyler. Lauren Rowe is the only writer who could turn a douchebag into a Charming Prince. Her elegant and addictive writing is poetic and pure just as her wonderful characters.

Misadventures of a College Girl is a mind-blowing read you must not miss. I urge you to read it. You won’t be disappointed. Lauren never disappoints her readers. Believe it or not but she is a goodness-gifted writer. She is able to take you deep into the story from the first pages. Caution: this book is amazingly extraordinary. Be prepared for an insta-panty-melting. Tyler will ruin you in a sweet and devilish way. This book deserves more than five stars. I highly recommend you this book. Oh. My. Life!!! This book was SOOO GOOD!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love Lauren and her writing with a passion, The Club series blew my socks off and is still at the top of my most favourite ever series reads, Captain slayed me completely, so yes I was expecting another magnificent trademark Lauren book, but this, this took me way by surprise in the best way possible - a story full of love, hope and dreams, with sweetness, fun, laughter and some hot sexy antics to boot!!

I was captivated from the first few pages, hooked and completely enthralled. The story just flowed, the chemistry between the characters oozed out of the pages, and the emotions had my heart ripping in two!

Tyler is DA BOMB!! (New t-shirt slogan?) I loved him and his self assured, cocky, arrogant and downright sexy ways. His ideas and his ideals really touched me. Zooey was everything I would want in a best friend - loving, loyal, trusting but full of sass and fire, striving for her dreams. They are hilariously funny together, lots of one liners and references to kids tv shows that had me crying with laughter. The songs they played each other were just perfect and really fit into the story.

When the sexy times got going, they really got going!!! PHEW!!! It was hot enough to melt the words right off the pages!! Jeez-Louise!!!!

Did I tell you how much I loved this book??!! Its has just a little bit of everything, that magic combination - its that elusive unicorn of a read, the one you know is out there just waiting for you to read, that pulls you in and won't let go. Tyler and Zooey will stay with me for a long time to come, the emotions, the feels, the hand of fate all make this an unmissable read. Make this your next read, you'll be so glad you did. Epic storytelling by the one and only Lauren Rowe.

LADIES! LADIES! LADIES! Listen to me please. This book, the characters, the feels, the banter, the heat, the laughs, the love, the heartbreak…the list goes on and on. You will get everything you didn’t realize you needed with Zooey and Tyler in this sexy romance.

Zooey is heading off to college and can’t wait to “start her life.” I truly adored her zest for life and sassy personality. She was naïve in many ways, but yet adventurous in a fun and flirty way. I remember what it felt like to be away from home for the first time, to have no adult supervision and finally be on your own. You felt ready to conquer the world. It’s an exciting new journey and Lauren captures the thrill of it all beautifully. I don’t know how she does it, but Lauren transports you into the story and you feel like you’re being reunited with your long-lost friends. And in this case, you’re back at college.

Tyler is just…WOW! This man-child is hot, sexy, swoony and funny as all get out. He’s the quintessential football player in the sense that he is a player, big time. However, he doesn’t make excuses for being a lady’s man and is honest about what he wants out of a relationship. What he wants out of a relationship is to NOT to have one! Sure, maybe that makes him cocky, but his drive and determination to do something big in his life is a real turn-on. Since we're talking about turn-ons, rest assured his swoony, sexy talk will make you combust in the most delicious way. He’s smart and while he takes life seriously, he still manages to have fun.

Needless to say, when Zooey and Tyler get together there are fireworks, lots of chemistry and goofy smiles. It’s virtually impossible not to fall in the love with them both. They’re young and have so much life to live, so it goes without saying that some very adult-like decisions need to be made where their future is concerned. As much as my heart broke for them as they struggled to do the right thing, I admired how they always tried to put each other’s ambitions first.

Bottom line, this was a great read. Lauren’s writing is clever and witty, smart and fresh. She does not disappoint at all in this fun, hot and sexy romance. You will swoon, laugh and maybe shed a few tears. Despite that, I can guarantee you will be smiling like a fool by the time to get done with Zooey and Tyler’s journey!

I think I might actually be in love with Lauren’s writing! This is the second book I’ve read of Lauren’s within 7 days and by god they’re absolute perfection. I’m not exaggerating, I’m not laying it on think, I’m being 100% serious when I say this book was perfection.

I’ve read so many collage romance books that have the main girl fall for the bad boy, they break up, they endure heart ache then realise what they actually want and then get back together but you don’t get that with this Misadventures book, oh no. What you get is so SO much more, more than you could even possibly expect. The storyline is so different to your typical college/sports romances and that is one of the things that made this book stand out to me.

The main guy is sexy a signed heck and demands all attention but has a heart of gold, he works hard to get when he is today, the main girl is sweet, loving and not afraid to voice her opinion, she knows what she wants and she sets her sights on it and goes for it. Put them both together and damn, you’re in for a treat.

I’m not one to give spoilers away, so I won’t start now but believe me when I say you won’t want to miss out on reading this book. At one point I thought I was gonna have a break down and end up curled up in the corner, it was kinda heartbreaking, my heart definitely hurt it felt their pain and sadness, it felt everything they did because that is what’s so magical about Lauren, she has the power to pull you in to her story and MAKE you feel everything and I for one, absolutely love that and it’s one of the reasons why I love Lauren and her books, she’s an amazing author. Her time and the effort put into her books shows clearly through her words and it’s incredible, truly incredible.

Misadventures of a College Girl by Lauren Rowe continues the Misadventures Series. Zooey Cartwright is a freshman theater major at UCLA, fresh out of Nebraska and ready to grab a hold and experience college life. Lucky for her, her roommate seems to have the insider experience she lacks as well as invitation to parties to meet all the hot football players. When she meets Tyler Caldwell, Free Safety for UCLA's football team, she doesn't know it yet, but she is about to be introduced to a whirlwind of college adventure.

With Tyler, Ms. Rowe creates a very gentlemanly character, that nonetheless is ready to devour Zooey, in a good way, and introduce her to the passions and pleasures that she has been missing. I liked the balance of wit, collegeisms, football and passion that were developed throughout. These characters draw you in and make you want more. Zooey's passion for theater and Shakespeare is balanced by Tyler's for football.

This was a fast, adventurous book that made you want more for these characters than just their misadventures in college. Their connection to each other is more than star crossed and you want their fate to be better than that of Romeo and Juliet's (since that particular play is made mention of during the book).

Misadventures of a College Girl is my favorite of Lauren Rowe's Misadventures books thus far. Once it got going I was hooked, flipping pages and hoping for Zooey and Tyler to be more.

Wowza....holy hell, just finished and now I need a minute or 5 to process so I can write a review that will do this book justice!

Pure perfection! That's how I am going to start this, everything that Lauren has written has been ah-maze-ing! And Misadventures of a College Girl right at the top of that.

This is the story of Tyler and Zooey (rhymes with Chloe, so you know I love that!).  Oh these two characters, I loved their determination to live their dreams! 

Zooey is fabulous in her independence and wanting to live life to the fullest.  Taylor, oh my me, Taylor is a dreamboat, the way he is comfortable in his own skin, they way he treats Zooey he is everything you could ask for in a boyfriend and more! The dialogue between Zooey and Tyler is witty, fabulous and funny! "And promise you'll start dreaming even bigger than being Alfalfa on Broadway." "Elphaba..."  That's just a small taste of the wit in the dialogue in this story.

The secondary characters are fabulous and so believable.  "Are you suffering from Stockholm syndrome?" "Blink twice if you need us to save you, Zooey Cartwright!" I wish I had friends like these back in school!

I think my favorite line in this book is "This moment is going to be a lifelong memory for you...." I know this book is going to be a lifelong memory for me.  So funny, so poignant, so steamy and just so wonderful! You have done it again Lauren, you have exceeded my expectations in every story you write! Just when I think "There is no way she can top this story" she does it again so eloquently!

Honest confession here: I did not really want to read another 'virgin' or YA book.
Two reasons why I did: LAUREN ROWE; SOPHIE BROUGHTON (full stop)
The first reason...because I have read her before & I am a huge fan of her writing therefore trusted her when she told her readers it would be different to most others out there.
The second reason...this woman KNOWS what she is talking about. If Sophie recommends a book, you are pretty much guaranteed to love it. She is a powerhouse in the blog/review community & has hardearned her cult following in my eyes.
So I ran the gauntlet of my biased mind & preconceived notions on what this book would present and on reading the last word of one of the best epilogues EVER, came out a WINNER WINNER..CHICKEN DINNER!
To say this book is classic Lauren Rowe is to minimalise the brilliance that is this author. It is classic LR, it is definitive LR, it is exemplary LR, but most of all it is masterful LR. To be able to get me to wax lyrically on a literary trope
that I dislike can only come from a piece of work created by the mind of a genius.
This book gave us everything....
Metaphoric artistry (cheeseburgers will never be thought of ever again as just a dietary indulgence?)
Realistic, yet, creatively original romance with an injection of heat inducing, heart palpitating boning.
Pure comedic one-liners that were so gaspingly hilarious whilst giving us a taste of childlike silliness in the form of g-rated jokes.
A story that not only touches but yanks your heartstrings to the point of breaking. And lastly two of the most endearing characters you will ever meet in Tyler & Zooey.
In College Girl we are given a story of youthful enlightenment, life altering consequences and a lesson in true devotional love.
Just so gosh darn entertaining!

Tyler and Zooey...Zooey and Tyler!! I am completely love struck after finishing this absolute gem of a book by Lauren Rowe!
I am a huge fan of Lauren’s books! They all grab you and suck you in, making you swoon and chuckle with her undeniable funny wit you find sewn throughout her books!! Misadventures of a College Girl was no exception to this. In fact, this book has nearly taken my top spot for my favourite books of hers to date!!
You get the gist of what the story is centred around from the title but it is oh so much more!! You will fall for Zooey straight away!! A very relatable character you can’t help but feel a connection to her!! Now Tyler, damn Tyler!! I don’t think I will be able to look at certain types of food in the same way for a while!! He is hot and sexy and everything plus more of what you look for in a male character - you will get your panties in a twist over this guy!
I fell for this couple and this story big time!! I laughed and swooned and I freaking cried!! Big fat tears that make you look like an eejit, as other people watching you are wondering what the hell your reading!!
Emotional rollercoaster comes to mind!! But fear not, you will feel bloody awesome by the end of this book!! I guarantee it!!
So if your an avid reader of Mrs Rowe, much like myself, you will be brought along on an amazing ride as per usual! If this is your first time reading her books your bloody welcome!! I guarantee you will have to binge after this one!!

It’s official. I have a new favorite Lauren Rowe book.

After reading a few mediocre books, it’s always nice to read one that hits it out of the park. I sometimes tend to blame myself if I get into a reading slump and am not enjoying recently read books. But then… a book like this comes along and reminds me that, yes, I can fall in love with a book again.

I guess it’s kind of like going on a bunch of spark-less dates, then suddenly going on a date with someone with immediate fireworks.

This book was that date.

Like every book I’ve read by LR, I was all in with Tyler and Zooey. I bought their relationship from the start.

LR is quite possibly the best of any romance author I’ve read (and I’ve read a lot) at developing relationships. She has pulled off insta-love (quite a feat), slow burn, and even romance between two people that never met.

Like I mentioned earlier, this was my favorite of all her books that I’ve read so far. I didn’t think any could top Ball Peen Hammer, but my God she did it.

I have to say, this isn’t a book that I’d normally be drawn to, however in a recent livestream chat, she gushed over this book and how it’s the virgin trope that people who don’t like virgin tropes will love… and I happen to be one of those people… and I loved it.

In LR I trust.

I have read every book by Lauren Rowe who happens to be one of my favorite authors! I love the idea of the Misadventure Series each being standalone and written by a different author. I generally do not read young adult and enjoyed this book very much. I really liked Tyler from the very beginning and am glad he wasn’t the typical jerk you find in many other books. He was charming, witty, passionate, funny, focused, driven, business minded, and caring.

I loved the banter between him and Zooey and how they had a solid friendship in addition to being lovers. I really liked how patient and sensitive Tyler was knowing it was Zooey’s first time. What I liked most about him was how he made Zooey’s dream of being an actress a priority and how he was always honest with her.

I loved Zooey’s character as well and how she stood by her man and gave him the chance to prove himself worthy. I loved how he schemed to get to be near her when they first met, and how cute the two of them were when they were together. You could feel their attraction towards one another, and their love and respect for one another on every page. I love football and it’s obvious that the author is a fan and knows her stuff!

I know others may not have liked how upfront about he was about their situation towards the end of the book (both having different career goals that were demanding of their time and in different states), but it all played out how I had hoped it would in the end. I adored this book and know you will too! Must read!

I have really enjoyed the Misadventures series a lot, but I have to admit that Misadventures of a College Girl is one of my favorites of the series to date. It's about a young girl named Zooey Cartwright, who is finally off to to college, and one of the first things that she wants to check off her list before classes start up is losing her V card. With the help of her new roommate, off to a party they go to find the perfect bad boy who fits the bill to make it great. This is where she meets Tyler Caldwell, and Zooey is convinced that he's perfect for the job, but after they talk for awhile, she leaves still intact. However, Tyler can't get the little freshman out of his mind, so they come to an agreement, and off on a journey they go where she gets what she wants, and a hell of a lot more. This story was simply awesome, and I couldn't get enough of the sexy, crazy t-shirt wearing Tyler. or his eager beaver, Zooey. Their witty interactions kept me laughing so hard, that my sides still hurt. And the cast of secondaries only added more humor to the whole story, and when I typed up Zooey Cartwright, I laughed hard all over again. Lauren Rowe's talented writing style was displayed amazingly well throughout this fun story, and boy did she write some seriously HOT sexy times that lit the college sheets up! I absolutely LOVED this story, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Misadventures of a College Girl is already a favorite this year! What blew me away is how a storyline that isn't necessarily unique, felt absolutely brand new in this story.
Again, BLOWN AWAY!!!

Tyler Caldwell was the best surprise. Seriously, he took my breathe away again and again. While he's so obviously handsome and cocky, this football star had so much depth and emotional intelligence. Every word he spoke had me falling for him even more. I just ADORED him!

Zooey Cartwright is the heroine you dream you'll have the pleasure of reading in a romance novel. She was gorgeous, sassy, wickedly talented and such a funny character. I loved her POV, it flowed beautifully with so much realistic aspects to her situation and with so much endearing honestly.

I have no doubt, many reviews will mention the belly-laugh inducing hilarity, the ultra steamy scenes that are quintessential in Ms. Rowe's writing. I'd have to agree with all those. But the aspect that I have to give her credit for, is her amazing ability at establishing the most real connections between her characters.

Lauren Rowe is an extraordinarily talented author. Which is why I know I'm always guaranteed one heck of an experience every time I pick up one of her books.

All the love for Tyler and Zooey. Their love story is one not to be missed!

Misadventures of a Collage Girl is an excellent new adult with a Romeo and Juliet feel. Zooey Cartwright is starting college. She's unskilled when it comes to guys; zero experience in dating. At a party she catches the eye of Tyler Caldweld, a cocky football player who has women dropping to their knees. He takes her under his wing and teaches her the art of her sexuality. Both aren't looking for a relationship, but fate has a different plan for them.

Tyler is amazing and irresistable. He's not only attractive and aggrogant, but also smart, sweet, thoughtful, clever, funny, and charming. Rowe created a character that it's in a category of it's own. I floved him. I couldn't get enough of him. Seriously, can we get more?
Zooey is pretty awesome, too. She's smart, quick-witted and is a perfect match for Tyler. These two had me rooting for them at their first interaction with one another. This seldom happens. I loved their banter and bickering. It was very amusing. Zooey and Tyler had crazy chemistry and I guess that's why I enjoyed their interactions so much. The sex scenes were a very hot.

This is a sweet romance with little angst/conflict. I immensely enjoyed it. Rowe wrote a lovely story. I loved how she put her own Romeo and Juliet twist.

Misadventures of a College Girl is amazing. Lauren Rowe’s combination so steamy, sexy and hilarious is unparalleled by any other author. I've gone from swooning over Tyler, to laughing my ass off because of Tyler and Zooey’s witty banter.

Zooey is the perfect heroine—easily relatable, funny, sassy, sexy, and even though insecure at times, goes after what she wants with a passion and resilience I don’t see often in books. I love her on so many levels it's hard to put into words.

Now Tayler, he's one of a kind for sure. He is this amazing combination of hot af, cocky, arrogant, and sweet, generous. It's a good thing first impressions aren't always accurate, and I'm so happy Tyler was so much more than just a jock. From his off-key singing to the way he cared for Zooey, Tyles is the perfect book boyfriend.

Misadventures of a College Girl is one the most entertaining reads I've had the pleasure of reading in a long time. It will not disappoint on any level. Lauren Rowe is a master with words and making you fall hard for her characters. Her talent of making them memorable is unparalleled.

If you're in need of a funny, smart, and sexy read, Misadventures of a College Girl is the perfect book for you.

My Review:

Written from the first person POV of a virginal female college freshman, this delightfully entertaining book was a breezy, naughty, and fun read. This Misadventure was jam-packed with clever humor, salacious sizzle, enticing characters, and a sweet romance that wasn't supposed to happen as it was not part of the project plan or on the syllabus. I adored the characters and thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Rowe’s witty, amusing, and engaging storylines. I fell hard and fast for this cute couple.

Misadventures of a College Girl is ROMANCE NIRVANA! Unbelievably perfect characters, sublime storyline, fantastic humor all topped off with the steamiest build up of angsty delicious-ness!

Zooey starts out like a sweet, innocent, stereotypical small town girl carrying around her v-card like an old piece of gum she can't wait to get rid of. Tyler is the quintessential college jock. Too good looking and cocky for his own good. Yet a good guy underneath it all. So good -like admirable...worthy maybe. These two characters are absolute aces! Utter brilliance!

This beautifully articulated story unfolds so flawlessly. Just the right amount of uncertainty that I couldn't put it down. I had to know what was happening next. So much hope. So many obstacles. Will they overcome what life has thrown their ways? Or will they go back to being friends and find their future with another? Gah --- so amazing!

Lauren Rowe has done it again! I always believe with certainty that each of Lauren's new books is her best one yet. Yet she always surpasses all my expectations. If you haven't read her yet - BUY THIS BOOK! You have to give it a go. There will be no regrets.

Zooey goes to college a virgin and decides she wants to find a hot athlete to help her change her status. She goes to a party and meets Tyler, star of the football team and a player on and off the field. They have an instant connection, begin to hook up, and somehow start talking instead. They learn they have some strong differences of opinion, which turns Zooey off from continuing things with him. Unfortunately for her, they end up having some of the same classes and get paired up for projects, forcing them to spend time together. They get to know each other, and Zooey learns that she had misjudged him. Neither of them can deny that the spark is still there, so when Tyler suggests he give her "lessons" to lose her virginity, she agrees. The lessons are supposed to end when their projects do because Tyler says he has to stay focused on football and doesn't have time to be in a relationship. Zooey thinks she can handle it, but over the next few weeks, things change for them both. Will they try to stay together or will they follow their career paths and allow that to come between them? Lots of fun with sexy and sweet moments.

If you're worried about new characters from Lauren Rowe, and not seeing those we have fallen in love with in her other series, don't be.

We are introduced to so many upstanding people in Misadventures of a College Girl, that I truly did not want this story to come to an end, regardless of how wonderful Lauren wrapped everything up.

Zooey is phenomenal. She's strong. Thoughtful. Smart. Quick-witted. Honestly, if I was back in college, she would without a doubt be an amazing friend. I feel even now, she could teach me about life. She doesn't quit. She dreams big.

Which leads directly to Tyler. Smart. Confident. Entertaining. Loyal. This boy... the things he says. The things he does. He reaches for the stars in everything he does in life.

Zooey and Tyler are a couple that others strive to be. They are comfortable with one another. Supportive of each other. And so damn encouraging on every single level. Zooey and Tyler are couple goals.

I am so beyond happy that this book entered my life. I laughed and cried and came out of it so grateful to have met these two glorious  people ❤

Another EPIC MASTERPIECE by this Bestseller author!!!

Every time that I open a book by this author I feel like i will enjoy, get my “ME time”. After I knew that this book was coming I was so ready but as always Lauren has an unique way to be a storyteller that you can identify her writing, she’s perfect!

Tyler was this bad boy with the heart of gold, the skills of a master and the body of a God! Zooey is definitely one of my favorite females of this author it was not only so full of fire but so real and raw and well...Tyler is my new captain.

This book is full of passion like only Lauren can describe, a balance of passion, love, power and sexiness. These two burned the sheets and my kindle.

And one of my favorite things is when you don’t know what is going to happen in every page, you get surprised by every words and the story changes keeping you on the edge. In fact I shared some tears, that’s how powerful this book was.

I was surprised how much this story was close to home, how I was so ready to give my heart and never wanted back. Books like this are the reason why never give up romance, second chances and love.

Sometimes, a book comes along that just makes you feel good. It sweeps you off your feet, fills your heart with joy, and keeps a smile firmly plastered to your face.

This is that book.

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this book is, but I'll give it my best shot. I'll start with Tyler, because...well, he's Tyler Caldwell. This man will bring on the hardcore swoon and charm. He's irresistible, plain and simple. He's full of surprises. He's the perfect combination of funny, sexy, sweet, dirty, humble, and cocky. He's definitely one of a kind.

Zooey is fantastic in this story. She’s got her head on straight, knows exactly what her plans consist of, and isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. And I’m not just referring to her education. She’s got this spirit about her that just makes her radiate. It’s a glow that not even Tyler can resist.

This book is the perfect example of Lauren Rowe perfection. It’s full of over-the-top fun, swoon-worthy moments, unending sweetness, and SO MUCH heat. On top of that, it’ll still hit you in all the feels, making it the perfect romance!

Holy Bejesus! Yes! Where do I change that 5 stars to 10? Because this book, oh this book, so deserves way more stars.

I absolutely loved this book. Tyler and Zooey are perfect together. Even though Tyler told Zooey up front that he didn't want a girlfriend because he was afraid that it would mess up his football playing mojo, he was still smitten with her. So, he came up with a way to take her V-Card and also make it a 5 week lesson to teach her everything. And during this whole 5 week stint, you knew, you could just feel how much Tyler loved Zooey, but he wasn't about to admit it, just yet.

I love a Lauren Rowe book and this one certainly did not disappoint. And I have to say that this was my most favorite quote from Zooey during sex."...Like a sinner at a Baptist revival". I nearly peed myself laughing. Now, I have to throw Tyler right up there with Josh and Keane. Tyler was one smooth dude and very lovable no matter what he said or did.

This is a total MUST read, seriously!

After reading this book, the definition most definitely needs to be updated.

From now on, whenever I hear the word, swoon, I will think only of Tyler Caldwell.

Why you ask?

BECAUSE HE WAS EVERYTHING!!

From page one this book melted my heart. I laughed at the awkwardness that is Zooey Cartwright and was taken in by Tyler and his addicting personality. Though the deck was stacked against them, these two managed to pull it off, and MAN was the results steamy.

Like seriously steamy...

Hotness aside, their love story was one for the ages. With their obvious chemistry and witty banter, it made for an awesome book.

If you are a fan of the author, or even if you're not, you must experience the extreme amazingness (this is a real word) of Tyler and Zooey. Your lady (or man) bits will thank me for it!

I just adore the Misadventures series. They are fun, sexy standalone that are perfect for weekend reading. The newest takes us back to college along with Zoey Cartwright. Zoey is determined to enjoy college much more than high school and she knows exactly how to start that off. She needs to loose her virginity before classes start in two days. She has absolutely no desire for a boyfriend though. She just needs someone who can do the deed then be on his merry way without paying her any mind. What better way to find a guy like that than ay a football player party?

When she meets Tyler there, he seems perfect, but things don’t go to plan and she is ready to never see him again. Her class schedule has other plans and she is stuck taking two classes with him. Soon he’s giving her exactly what she wanted and much more. Zoey needs to stick to her guns but sometimes, bad boys make the perfect boyfriends and no-strings attached becomes anything but.

Such a fun read. I loved Tyler. Highly recommend this for a light and very enjoyable read.

Ok, just give me a moment... *screams like a wild woman* ...I always knew Lauren Rowe was a writing genius, but man alive she's surpassed herself a million, billion times over! Misadventures of a College Girl is just utter, utter, brilliant perfection!!

FYI - This book needs to come with a warning. When you start reading nothing, and I mean NOTHING matters in your life until you’ve finished the very last page!

Zooey Cartwright + Tyler Caldwell = #majorcouplegoals! Omg! I LOVE these two - but especially Tyler – Tyler is TO DIE FOR! He oozes nothing but total sexy, swoony, HOT magnificent awesomeness! Did I mention HOT? Oh Lord!!!

Can you tell this is my new fave of Lauren's?! Lol! She's pulled a trillion rabbits out of a hat and produced an abundance of magical epicness! Off the star scale with this one – LOVED IT SO HARD!
