A Review of A Fighting Chance by Annie Stone

Mackenzie and Carter - 4 stars

I have to say that I really liked the cover, but this is not your typical story or what I was expecting. I'm waiting to see if the other two parts of the story come out any time soon.

**Honest review voluntarily provided from a Complimentary Copy**

A good older man younger woman romance. Throw in two teenage sons that are not happy with their father's relationship. Then add the drama that comes when the oldest son develops romantic feelings toward the woman his father is in love with. Equals - a very good book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is like nothing I've ever read before. Mackenzie and Carter are together and it works, but then his sons come into the picture and Mackenzie gets a new depth while Carter loses it. It was hard to know who or what to root for, but it was an engaging and easy read nonetheless.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Mackenzie is dating Carter who is twice her age. She moves in with him and then his sons come to live with them. You will understand why the characters are they way they are throughout the book. You will dislike some but sympathize others. I voluntarily received this book to review for my honest opinion.

VOLUNTARY ARC REVIEW- I hated this book but the counselor in me couldn't put it down. I'll finish the series because I have to see what happens. There are so many messed up situations I just want to help fix. I was furious and devastated through the whole thing. Also, I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!!

I went into this book thinking out was your basic older person/younger person scenario. It proved me wrong, when I first started reading it I couldn't stand the kids and honestly wanted to just stop right there but I continued on and I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend that you read this.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. This is the first book that I have read by Annie Stone. It was a good book. The book was hard for me to get into this book. I was confused about what the blurb said the book was going to be about. I can't wait to read more books by Stone.

Great read, hard to follow only because it was not what I expected. This was more about the sons and 'new' girl friend than Carter and the 'new' girl friend.

I do enjoy the author and would recommend but just know this is not what you expect and has a great story line.

Good entertaining story. Book was well written with the cliffhanger ending. Steamy scenes and emotional angst, self doubt. I look forward to the next installments. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book

Not what I expected. McKenzie falls in love with Carter. They move in together, then his kids move in and made her life miserable. Carter starts traveling more for work and she's get closer to his older son hunter. Quite a twist. I voluntarily reviewed an arc copy of this book.

***I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.*** MacKenzie and Carter are in love. When she meets his two sons, they are not real happy to meet her as they basically feel she is with their father for his money. (Carter is almost 20 years older than Mac). Over time, they change their tune, but this story is an emotional rollercoaster for all involved.
