Is so enjoyed this Covent Garden Cubs issue.
Gideon Harrow is the original bad boy, the lost boy with a hidden generous soul. When he avoids pursuit inside Lady Susanna's house, he little knows that his life just took a turn for better and for worse.
Always a disappointment to her over protective mother, Lady Susanna Derring is the put upon daughter who decides, just this once, to seize the moment and have at least one grand adventure before being handed off in some unknown in marriage. So living up to her surname with an added 'do', as in derring-do, Susannah opts for blackmailing her new rogue acquaintance to achieve her dream--a visit to Vauxhall Gardens.
And what an adventure it turns out to be. I enjoyed the improbable impact Susannah has, not only on Gideon, but the other denizens of the rookeries she meets upon her way.
I loved Susanna's attitude, her fortitude and her loyalty. And of course 'Beauty' just added to the many moments. A couple of twists and turns just added to the intrigue.

I love Shana Galen's books -they're funny, sweet, and wildly entertaining. I love how this series is about thieves. I love how Susanna wants more from life than following the rules - she wants adventure. She wants love. She wants what her brother has. I felt bad for Gideon - for his hard life and for the choices he had to make. I liked his spirit and his choice in friends. I love that while Gideon wants to protect her, she doesn't need protection. She's not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. I love the banter between the two of them. I adored Beauty - I think she stole some scenes and made me want to give my dog an extra hug or two. This story is inspired by Tangled - and it's fantastic in every way.

Final Thoughts: If you're a historical romance reader and you aren't reading Shana Galen, start! I can't wait for the next book in the series.

This is the second book in Covent Garden Cubs series and it’s filled with much adventure, romance and danger as our heroine Susannah lands into underworld of London courtesy of our hero Gideon.

I loved these two to pieces! They were so incompatible at the beginning that I thought these two would never work together, but fool I!

Once more Shana Galen gifts us with wonderful characters and a vastly entertaining story. Watching our heroine grow from a naïve society miss into a strong woman was a pleasure.

As for the hero, Gideon is now among the one of my all time favorites heroes.

If you’re looking for a fun fast-paced adventure filled with plenty of humor, yet delightfully romantic, look no more! You have to pick this one up!

I received this book for free. Susanna, an earl's daughter, and Gideon, a thief, are from far different worlds, until he breaks into her house and she decides to force him to take her on an adventure. While on this adventure they begin to trust and rely on each other because they need to avoid capture by the other thieves who want to either kill Gideon, or turn him over to the man who wants to kill him, and Susanna's brother, a thieftaker. You start right off rooting for Gideon, because he's a nice guy who doesn't know that he's a nice guy. Susanna is strong, daring and brave. Together they make a great team and a strong couple. But can Susanna convince Gideon that he can leave his world behind so they can make a life together ? This us a well written book with well developed characters and I really enjoyed reading it.

Shana Galen has added another great addition to her Covent Garden Cubs series. This book features Susanna Derring, the little sister of the Earl of Dane and Gideon Harrow, an associate of the Marlowe (Susanna's sister in law and former thief). Susanna has been sheltered by her overbearing mother and she longs for freedom and adventure. She catches Gideon breaking into her home and blackmails him into taking Vuaxhall Gardens. From there a grand adventure ensues and their shared experiences form a bond that leads to friendship and romance.

This book is the second in the series and I would definitely read Book #1 Earls Just Want to Have Fun first. I enjoyed this book and look forward to finishing the series. I was given a free copy for an honest review by netgalley.com.

In THE ROGUE YOU KNOW by Shana Galen Lady Susanna Derring has one desire, to see Vauxhall Gardens. Her very strict mother refuses to let her go. Susanna feels suffocated in her own home. She dreams of having an adventure. When Gideon Harrow, a common thief, jumps in the window of her father's library, her adventure begins. She uses blackmail to force Gideon to take her to Vauxhall. Thus begins their wild escapades all over London. This book was sooooo funny! The banter was the best I've read in a long time. Of course, there is danger, excitement, and love. My favorite quote: "He wanted to be the sort of man who deserved to lie beside her, touch her, breathe her rarified air." I adored this book, and I highly recommend it!

Shana Galen just gets better and better!!! The Rogue You Know is the second book in the Covenant Garden Cubs series and it is a gem. Rapscallion Gideon is trying to leave his thieving past behind him. Susanna is trying to have an adventure. The two were destined to find one another and take each other on the journey of a lifetime. Galen once again delivers wit, intrigue, and deep emotion that combine to make an excellent story. She also gives some playful nods to another thief meets sheltered girl seeking adventure, although Susanna has a more manageable length of hair that did the fair Rapunzel. This is a can’t miss read!

The characters are fun and likable. He story moves along with no slowdowns to frustrate the reader. I found the chemistry between the main characters to be compelling. It is well written which is a pleasure and difficult to find anymore. Good as scenes that make sense and fit the plot and characters.
I liked the book and recommend it.

Historical romance will forever have a special place in my heart because it is basically the only sub-genre I read for my four years of high school. Moving forward with that thought, I liked this novel. It was a bit different and I'm a sucker for a redeemable guy. Gideon is pretty damn redeemable and makes me happy. Susanna is overly sheltered and dying for adventure and the possibility of something more than the life she is allowed to lead. When her and Gideon cross paths, they never think they will have a massive adventure together nor do they consider the possibility of falling in love with one another.

Shana Galen's expertise in adventure and period lingo excel in the latest work in her Covent Garden Cubs series, The Rogue You Know. Liberally peppered with witty exchanges between the characters, long held secrets, and simmering sexual tension between the hero and heroine, this book will take you for a fun and at times sentimental ride though Regency London. A charming look at reaching beyond social constraints and inner fears, this story is a great way to spend an afternoon!

I absolutely love Shana Galen's writing. This is the second book of her Covent Garden Cubs series and it is fun, quick-witted and vastly entertaining. This is the story of Gideon, a thief who is looking to escape his life. While running from Beezle, the head rogue, he encounters Susanna. Susanna is in her library trying to come up with a way to go on a venture to Vauxhall. In comes Gideon and she blackmails him into taking her. On the way, they face many obstacles and encounter many adventures. This is a wonderfully, thrilling story.

This was ridiculous. I was reading the plot of Disney's Tangled movie with actual lines from the movie! Even the very first sentence is the same first line from the movie. I can't believe they haven't got her for plagiarism. I loved the first book of the series

I loved this one! Susanna wants adventure. Gideon shows up unexpectedly and she forces him into taking her to Vauxhall gardens. It ends up being quite an adventure. I loved Gideon in the first book. He was in love with Marlowe, who ended up marrying Susanna's brother. It's not necessary to have read it but I was glad to see Gideon end up happy. He might be a thief, but he's a good guy. It was an entertaining story. I particularly enjoyed the similarities to a certain Disney movie. It made me smile. A fun read!

I was thrilled that Gideon got his own story. Not only did he get to be a hero, but he got the better life he desired. This story is not your average Regency romance with a wealthy titled hero. It is still a great story. It is funny. I found myself laughing often. The heroine, Lady Susanna not only got her adventure, but the rogue she loves. It is can be read alone, but I recommend it as a series. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Fairy tales turned romance novels are some of my favorite books, and this one is definitely up therewith those. This is romance novel is a retelling of Tangled only not. You will see the similarities, just no tower with a witch. I loved this story and hope that she does many more like it.
