The Conspiracy of Us does not mess around. This book grabbed me from the first chapter and did not let go until I turned the last page. And trust me, I turned the last page a couple of times, hoping another chapter would magically appear so that it didn't have to be over. Action, romance, glamorous adventures to far-off lands, The Conspiracy of Us has everything I want in my escapist literature. And it's not just explosions and ball-gowns. There's a lot of heart, too. The main character, Avery, has moved from place to place her whole life, never getting to settle or build a life for herself. As someone who moved around a lot growing up, too, Avery's yearning for a family and a place to belong really got to me. As the mystery unfolds and Avery learns more about the secret society she belongs to, she starts to take charge of her life and I couldn't help but cheer her on as she races across Europe to unravel a global conspiracy and finally get the answers she's always longed for.

The Conspiracy of Us is a fun, exciting, and swoon-worthy read and I am desperate for the second book.

I started listening to this book halfway through a solo drive from Chicago to Philadelphia, and I couldn't turn it off. I found the book to be incredible. I had no idea what I was getting into when I started it, as I pulled it up on my phone at a rest stop and didn't read anything about it. The story brings you in pretty quickly, and after a few chapters, I was intrigued by the characters and the mystery unfolding. I was sad and shocked when the book ended, I didn't want it to- especially on the cliffhanger it left me with and the mystery, the kidnapping and the tomb unsolved and unfound.

Ever since her father left, and her mother's work assignments began dragging her around the country, 16-year-old Avery West has been lonely. She longs for something permanent in a life that is constantly in flux, and for a family she has never really had.

Then one day, everything changes. Enter Jack, hottie extraordinaire, the mysterious new guy at Avery's equally new school, who is as secretive as he is handsome. Soon, Avery finds herself spiralling into a world of hidden secrets, where the truth about who she could be, and the dynasty she might be a part of starts to unravel. Pursued by hot, suspicious, territorial Keepers, Jack and Stellan, Avery takes to the city of Paris and the backstreets of Istanbul in a pulse-pounding race against fate. Just who are the Circle, and what is her place inside it? And will the deadly Order discover her before she can discover her true self?

This book swept me away from the very first page. It had everything I look for in a book: lots of romance, delicious sexual tension, sprawling European adventure, a dark unravelling mystery, and a host of heart-stopping twists. Led by a sassy, rebellious heroine, who harbours a quiet yearning for a family that are truly her own, the story had heart and soul in spades. A rich sense of culture was woven expertly into a fast-paced, intriguing plot grounded in ancient history, which made the scenes sing from the pages, and richly-imagined characters come to life. From Prada to Hervé Léger, from glittering Parisian balls to the thrumming clubs of Istanbul, from brooding Russian Stellan to sexy British Jack, this book has something for everyone, and, as it turns out, had everything for me! Love. Love. Loved.

Okey dokey!! So, first off, I originally found this book at the library, when I checked out "Map of Fates" because it sounded really good. About halfway through the first chapter of that book, I was like "Wait.... This doesn't seem right" and so I looked it up online, and found out it was actually the second book in a series! So, I ordered "The Conspiracy of Us" and, well, I absolutely LOVED it!!! It was great, with all the plot twists, and just all the wonderful elements of the book!! I would totally recommend this book to anyone who I knew like this genre of fiction!!!!

This exciting tale is doused in glamour and action through every chapter allowing the treacherous story to unfold in epic fashion. The characters were well developed but the storyline was the marvel of the book. This tale endorsed a unique concept that provided several twists and some intriguing problem solving. Teenage fans of the Selection, the Jewel, and the Defiance series will love this enthralling tale.

This book was amazing. There was adventure, romance, traveling, secrets. I couldn't put this book down. I love the main character of the story, Avery. Her thoughts and feelings fit very well with the story and she felt real. Following Avery through the mysteries of the book was a fun journey and I can't wait to start the second book.

I highly enjoyed this book. It is action packed and the whole prophecy thing got me very interested but there’s also a bit of a Gossip Girl-ish side to the reality Avery finds herself thrown into and I really enjoyed that. The characters also find themselves having to follow some clues and even though the book didn’t focus on that as much as I thought it would, the way it ended suggests that there will be more of that on the sequel, so I’m looking forward to reading it.
The only thing that bothered me a little was that, at the very beginning, some of the decisions Avery made seemed really unrealistic and the reasons the author found to explain why she made those decisions didn’t convince me. But overall I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it!

I had been greatly anticipating this book for a while before it was released. I was not disappointed! Such international settings, secret societies, mystery, and fast-moving plot all go together in making The Conspiracy of Us unlike much of the multitude of YA out there. With a not-quite, but kind-of-is, cliffhanger ending, you will immediately be left wanting the sequel.

AHHHHH! This book was so addicting! I stayed up until 4 am this morning reading it! SO WORTH IT. Only thing I'm really upset about is that I don't know when the next book is coming out and I didn't appreciate the cliffhanger at the end of this one!

Loved this book. Love the romance, love the mystery, love the characters. The writing styles is great. It's more focused on action than it is on the cheesy mushy stuff, which is great because then it's not all about to loooove. It's a book about mystery.

Older teens. Great adventure. 16-yr-old Avery discovers a whole new meaning of "mandate" as she is whisked off to Paris and Istanbul to meet her father's family, unknown until now. Watch that tension between Avery and two young men who are "keepers."
