Oh my lord... I died laughing while reading this book... my husband looked at me kinda funny... I told him he wouldn't understand... what a great story, love is there for everyone, you just have to believe.. Can't wait to read the next book from Melanie Harlow... keep writing stories that most people can relate to...

Fun, hot, sexy....sweet, endearing, and heartfelt. Quinn is the epitome of patience and Jaime keeps trying it (OK she tried my patience as a reader too)!but hope lingers no matter what rules she presents or the self sabotage that had me in tears with her! Melanie Harlow does her best story telling again,this time with brilliant role reversals, all the feels, and hot hot hot!!!!

In this book it's the reverse , Quinn is confident of what he wants but Jamie ... she's needs convincing and she is scared of love and commitment. Enjoyable but I'm a sucker for more detail in the HEA and it wasn't there . It still ended well, it's just I wanted a little bit more :)

A beautifully written, extremely entertaining, and overall fabulous story. The author drew me in with the hot man candy, but it didn't take long before I was falling in love with both Jaime and Quinn. Quinn's persistence and determination to get through Jaime's tough exterior was both fun and heart warming.

A definite must read!

I was actually laughing out loud at some parts and crying a bit at others. Jaime is a bit of a tough, bull headed woman but I liked her. I feel like there could totally be more stories based on some of the other characters......overall, great quick (sexy!) read for my Saturday night.

Seriously, this story is delicious, the characters are sexy and fun as well as funny. Great second chance romance with some seriously comical moments as well as some intense emotional moments. Plus, did you see the cover model? (He's just downright delicious) What more do you need to 1-click this book?

Yet again Melanie takes us on a journey filled with angst, humor and heart. Jaime is a strong modern day woman who has boundaries that she won't cross until Quinn comes along and blows her rules out of the water. I absolutely loved this story.

This being my first Melanie Harlow book and it didn't disappoint. Great story from start to finish. Jamie and Quinn's love knew no bounds, great friends to lovers concept. Can't wait to read more from this amazing author.

A great book. Definitely items light, funny, but the characters were not superficial. I was definitely engrossed in the story- loved the dinner table scene and seeing Jamie believe in love was heartwarming.

Not only was this book scorching hot! But Quinn and Jaime were great. I can Sooo relate to Jaime, I think that's why I loved this book so much. I am definitely reading the rest of this series. Highly recommend!!!

Usually heroines TSTL annoy the heck out of me but this one actually sees a therapist for her moronic behavior. Loved that! Great little read, totally roped me in as a new Harlow fan. I'm now off to binge the rest of her books ?

I was very surprised. I wasn't really feeling the couple at first. He was kind of a douche canoe at first and she was self centered. They obviously changed over the course of the story. His transformation came a little quicker but I fell in love with their dynamic. Quinn was seriously so sweet. I would definitely recommend this book.

OMG!!!! I couldn't put this down! Over thinking about your feelings makes them harder to accept. Thus is how my relationship was before i got married. We've been married for 32 years now. Love us a wonderful thing!!!!

Enjoy this author so much. This book and Jamie and Quinn's story had me chuckling, smiling , a little teary and feeling lots of love. The explanation of what love and lifetime commitment really means was and is, spot on! Delightful book for anyone who loves a HEA!

Relatable characters, great storyline, nice flow of events without any confusion on timeline, some hella hot steamy scenes... typical Melanie in the way everything just meshes in the right way to give a fabulous story.

The heroine is LOL funny! We know she'll eventually see the light and when she does her dream guy is waiting for her. The characters were so cute together and also very sexy . Great read. Can't go wrong with this author.

It had the perfect combination of humor, sexiness and love. Quinn and Jamie had great chemistry together. Quinn was very swoon worthy, he was so patient while Quinn got out of her head and listened to her heart.

While I enjoyed the interaction between the two main characters, the reluctance of the heroine to get involved with the hero bordered on stupid. Yes, her parents' relationship was cold but she supposedly loved this guy when she was younger. Actually, all the mental angst was boring and the outcome predictable. I gave it three stars because the dialogue was sometimes cute and I've enjoyed this author's other books (far more than this one, actually).

Great story. Great descriptions. I get sick of the flakey fake erotica going from sex scene to sex scene with nothing interesting between. This has a wonderul story that kept me up all night reading. I miss the characters already!
