It has been awhile since I wanted to quickly read the next book. The author did a great job helping us feel we are right there getting to know the characters and are part of their special close knit group. Here's to reading the next book.

Very good read. Surprising and easy. Fun and mysterious. Great storyline and very interesting characters. Would read again. Wish I could get a better feel for hockey players...I mean hockey itself is like Molly said you lose the puck.

Enjoyable book. There was enough tension and drama to make a good read, but not so much to make me stop reading. I thought the character development was good, it made me care about the characters and what happened to them. I liked the way it ended. I didn't feel like I was left hanging or that the conclusion was weak. It wrapped up nicely but make me look forward to the next book.

Well written, I was surprised when I searched for others that this was her first. I am looking forward to more installments in the series. Not usually one to read something marked as 'erotica' but the story line was there and I really enjoyed it! I think she is one to watch.

This is the first book in the Sidewinders series. It perfectly blends Hockey and romance. I love that the Sidewinders are all friends and feel more like family. I was hooked from the beginning and the story kept my interest to the end.

The amount of self doubt that Molly felt was spot on for a victim of domestic abuse. It was nice to see her have some sort of emotional reprieve in Dom. He was patient, reassuring, loving and kind to her, and his friends accepted her immediately. I appreciated the new life she was able to build out if the ashes of her old one. Very real world. Nice job.

A must read for anyone loving a wonderful escape book. I read most genres so this debut novel was so intriguing with the development of the characters. A modern day romance novel with well written erotica.

Kat Mizera's debut novel is well-written and entertaining. She brings a real life issue to the forefront in a delicate way and allows the heroine time to heal and love again. She also showcases the camaraderie of a sports team. The characters and well-developed, and the story line is believable. Dom is a hunky bite of protective love.

Really loved that this was a real full FREE book, Usually you just start getting ready into the book and then you have to start buying the rest of the series. I couldn't put this book down once I started reading it, hopefully you have helped a lot of readers who are in dangerous situations. I will definitely be looking forward to more books from Kat.

I really like her books because they are fast paced and different and they all intertwine with one another, but all follow different main people each time. This one was good, and interesting and really kept me guessing at what was going to happen next. I would recommend this to people that love drama and romance with a dash of mystery.

I thoroughly enjoyed this hockey read, two badly damaged characters find salvation in each other. I actually had a hard time putting this one down, the action and development of the story was very well done and keeps the reader fully invested in the story. Dom was a great book boyfriend and his relationship with Molly was realistic. I have book 2 ready to read and I am not waiting!

Dom is a strong chunky hockey player with issues that already has career teetering on the edge. Dom stumbles on a scene where a stranger, Molly, was being beaten buy her husband. Dom selflessly comes to her rescue. This story is about two people helping each other get over their past and taking a leap of faith to find love! Humor, love, romance and hot sex will make it hard for you to put the book down!

I got hooked on this first book and immediately went and got the boxset! Dominic showed Molly each and every day how much he cared for her. he didn't care about their age difference or anything and for that, I adore him!

I always love stories of underdogs coming out on top. This story is as good as it gets. The writing was even and kept you from putting the book down. The plot was not new but still interesting enough to make you want to read more. I will surely look for more books from Kat Mizera.

I'm not really into sports books but was surprised by this debut release by Kat Mizera. Dom meets Molly and decided to help her get away from her abusive husband and next thing you know they fall in love. It was a good read.

Dominic Gianni is a hockey player for the Las Vegas Sidewinders. He and his best friend, Cody, come across a woman being abused by her husband. Dom and Cody use video exposure to get the man to leave the woman alone. Molly McCarran has lived through 20 years of abuse at the hands of her cop husband. Molly doesn't know if she can trust anyone anymore and wants to give up. Dom's protective instinct kicks in when he sees Molly and wants to protect her. Dom offers Molly protection and a place to stay. As Dom and Molly spend time together, they slowly become friends as they learn about each other. Can Dom and Molly fight their way through their demons to find love with one another? Can Molly trust Dom and his feelings for her? Can Dom control his temper and not blow his last chance at his hockey career? Dominic is a great start to the Las Vegas Sidewinders series by Kat Mizera. Highly Recommend!
Please RateLas Vegas Sidewinders: Dominic
Molly has been with Time, abusive husband, for 20 years. Throughout those years he has been abusing her not only physically but mentally as well. At one time Dom and Cody show up to rescue her from Tim's beatings. I thought it was commendable that Dom would take on that situation because of his troubles with the NHL. As they navigate through twists and turns they realize how much they really need each other.
Overall the familial atmosphere of the book endeared me to it and I hope to read more.
