I cannot say what specifically made me love this storyline, but I think is was the heartfelt 'gotta do what's gotta be done' type character that Hayden Duke inhabited.

He was just doing his best to honor his oath as The Law. Super character.

This is a readable, engrossing and rollicking set of books. The first one starts off sneakily, building interest in what the heck is going on, and then suddenly, it's on! The action is nonstop, with interesting characters and ideas. Great read!

Really enjoyed the story line of the series. A little different from the typical pa stories. Plenty of adventure and interesting characters. The love between the sheriff and his wife kept me rooting for them throughout the story. Looking for more books by this author.

I'm not a particularly insightful critic. I simply know what I like. I greatly enjoyed The Forgotten trilogy. The characters, storyline, suspense were marvelous. But then, I love everything M.R. Forbes writes. And that's all I got.

This was an entertaining and interesting series. I loved the characters and the plot. I was sad at the fate of some of the characters, but their stories helped to move the entire saga along. Hope there are more in the series!

This was an excellent ending for this series. I enjoyed every word of each book and highly recommended them! Forbes has built an amazing world full of rich characters and while I'm sad to see an end, all things must.

Another great adventure by Forbes. His characters are well developed & the action never slows. The only negative is that it's only a trilogy. I wouldn't mind some short stories in this series though. *hint, hint*

For all the evil and unjust actions committed in this series, it was time for retribution. The action is just as non- stop as it was in the first two books but this time, justice is done. I enjoyed this series.

This reminds me of the tv series Sanctuary. No clean and shiny world here. Surprised me more than once, and as long as I been reading in this genre that is very rare. Mr. Forbes did a real piece of work here.

This was an awesome series. I enjoyed it immensely and hope for more stories from Hayden and Natalia. The plot twists were awesome and the ending was extreme. I think the author immensely and look forward to his next book.

For torturing your readers by not allowing sleep, you (yes you, Mr. Forbes) are no longer allowed to sleep until you have at least started and published the next saga in the Forgotten Universe series. It's either that or we are throwing to the trife, good sir!

The combination of science fiction, old westerns, love, and good vs. evil were just perfect. The way the story unfolds is simply a thrill to read. I really had a hard time putting any of the three books down and was very satisfied with the end....even though I do want more!

I enjoyed the way the plot moved smoothly (& quickly) forward. Character development was solid throughout. Very few instances where incorrect words or spellings were found.
I just enjoyed reading all books of The Forgotten.

Really interesting premise for the world. Great character development. Author claims to write 10-12 books a year and you can tell...This series seems to be a bit dashed off...I would LOVE to read a version that took a year to write and had twice the detail! It felt like reading a version of Lord of the Rings that was only 300pages long...

Sherrif Hayden continues his quest. The action is fast, the horrors are frightenly demented the will power is strong. And the ending wasn't disappointing like so many series endings are. An enjoyable, if not perfect, read.

Liked the pace of the story and the overall plot. Good prevails over evil. Honor and integrity can change the world. I did find the pronoun usage a bit confusing at times, “they” when it seemed “he” would have been the correct pronoun. Would have been 5 star except for that
