Heath's story was better than Logan's. Liked Ally's spunky nature. Two people burned in the past with cheating ex's who both only deal with hookups and one night stands find a connection with each other that neither can let go after one night. This couple did start out practicing safe sex unlike his brother Logan and Stella. In this day and age not engaging in safe sex makes it more unrealistic. Look forward to reading Jackson's and Cooper's story.

Following on from reading Logan I knew what to expect from this book … we met Heath in Book 1. Now we really get to see what he is like, from the very first sentence this book is HOT so don’t read it if you are bashful.
Heath is your classic brooding alpha male, he is a hunk who had his heart crushed & is wary about trusting again .. pick up a girl, no need for names, have a night of passion & move on … that is until he meets Alley. She doesn’t want to get hurt again but gives as good as she gets from him … the passion sizzles as we follow their journey.
If you want hot & steamy entertainment to brighten up a drab day then this is certainly that .. read & enjoy, knowing there will be more to come in this series.
I received a free copy of this book from Brook Cottage Books in exchange for my honest opinion.

Heath Wild likes to keep his one night stands far from home, generally cutting loose while at medical conferences in other cities, where he can be sure his fun doesn’t interfere with his daily life. Never one to take advantage of women, he lets them know up front that he’s just looking for a temporary fling, and that’s what he has in mind when he spots Ally Jenner volunteering at his latest conference. But his one night with her quickly proves to be not nearly enough.
Ally knows better than to get involved with a doctor. Working in the lab, surrounded by doctors, she’s seen exactly who they are and how they can be, and she wants no part of that. But there’s just something about the hot doctor she hooked up with at a recent medical conference that she can’t quite shake, and despite their agreement to leave their fling behind when they left the conference, Ally and Heath stay in touch but keep their personal details quiet. Of course, Fate won’t let them remain semi-anonymous, and Ally is floored when Heath strolls into the lab where she’s working.
Heath was an incredibly likable character, a little on the wild side but surprisingly considerate and tender with Ally. Their relationship started off hot and accelerated to fully combustive once they ran into each other in the workplace. Where most romances would have these two trying to deny their ongoing interest, Melissa Foster gives us characters who don’t follow the usual formula. Sure, neither was certain that what they had together was going to lead to forever, but there was no futile denial of attraction or crazed avoidance of involvement. Instead, they both sort of internally questioned themselves and what they were looking for, all fueled by insecurities caused by their pasts.
As Ally and Heath quickly proved they just couldn’t stay away from each other, their attachment grew, and their communication stayed open — another refreshing change from typical romance cliches. Heath, for all his playboy tendencies, proved to be a fantastic hero, open with Ally and more accepting of their blooming relationship than I initially expected. And of course, these two were hot as hell together!
As much as I enjoyed the Logan, the first book in this series, I have to say that Heath really hooked me from the beginning, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. Heath and Ally were easy to understand and relate to, and they were just perfect together. Like all of Melissa Foster’s books, the romance is wonderfully sweet, but this series takes the heat factor up a notch with its more erotic flair.

Next in this delightfully entertaining series, we have Heath who is the eldest of the Wild boys. Heath, who is a doctor, gets introduced in Logan’s story when he provides his skills after the incident at the bar involving Stella and the drunk customer which leaves her slightly injured. Let’s just say he has an excellent bedside manner when he is helping his patients but when it comes to his methods in the bedroom he is more of the take charge variety. Ally, the one night stand which ultimately turns into more, who he meets at a medical conference in Vermont does not seem to mind at all. Right off the bat we get a taste for their chemistry as the book opens up with them all over each other in the elevator of the hotel as they make their way to Ally’s room. The rules in the beginning were no last names, no particulars but that quickly changed as their connection to one another left neither of them able to stop thinking about one another once the conference was over. Heath, who was burned in the past, decides to nix his rules and asks for Ally’s phone number before they part ways. Little did they know they were going to be seeing each other sooner than they thought.
While Heath is one of New York city’s best sports medicine orthopedic doctors, Ally works in a medical lab at one of the hospitals as a lab tech. It is there that their worlds collided once again as Ally’s is handling one of Heath’s samples which he comes in to check on. After getting more than just the results he sought after but also another encounter with the woman he could not stop thinking about Heath decides to go against his rules and ask Ally out on a date. Another magnetic connection is formed as Heath and Ally’s relationship progresses. While Logan and Stella’s relationship started under an air of danger because of her abusive ex trying to find her, Heath and Ally’s started under an air of passion which simmered down to this sweet and caring relationship between two people who have both been betrayed by others in the past. I love how Heath has that compassionate side which definitely comes from being a doctor but also has his dominant nature which come out when things start heating up in the bedroom. I can obviously see why Ally was so drawn to him when they had their “one night stand” at the medical conference where this all started. I mean pulling some strings so that their first date was at the Central Park Zoo after hours because Ally had never been to a zoo before was just the most adorable and thoughtful gesture that my heart couldn’t help but swoon a little and it continued to do so throughout the rest of the book.
First you have Logan, the noble and bad ass protector who goes to great lengths to ensure that Stella will be safe and then you have Heath, the compassionate yet dominating doctor who captivates Ally as much as she captivates him. After reading both of their stories, I can definitely see the appeal of the Wild boys and can’t wait to delve in more with the last two books of the series which are Jackson and Cooper’s stories.

Oh, my! *fans self* HOT! HOT! HOT! Melissa Foster has really amped up the heat in this second Wild Boys book. Heath Wild is hot between the sheets and out. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that this book is all about sex. Melissa still gives us the romance and love that we have come to expect in all her books. I really did not want this book to end because I love Heath and Ally so much.
Heath and Ally meet at a medical conference in Vermont. They each have trust issues from previous relationships. Both understand that this will be one night of no strings attached sex, but they get so much more than they bargained for. They can’t get enough of each other. What was supposed to be one night has turned into two hotter than hot nights. Heath finds himself breaking his rules with Alley. They go their separate ways the next day with nothing more than first names and phone numbers. Can this possibly become more than either of them expected? You need to buy this book to find out. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

After reading Logan's story, I was eager to begin the second book in the series. This book is about Heath, the eldest of the Wild brothers. I was intrigued when I read about him in book one, and I could not wait to find out more about him.
Dr. Heath Wild is an orthopedic surgeon and a confirmed bachelor. Being in a committed relationship was not on his agenda. He had specific rules that he lived by and he expected the women he hooked up with to accept them. He never hooked up with women who lived in the same city has he did, and there was to be no exchanging of telephone number and surnames. It would be a night of sex with no strings attached. However, the unthinkable happened the night he met Allyson at a medical conference. He found himself breaking his rules.
Allyson Jenner is a lab technician who loves volunteering at medical conferences. After surviving two failed relationships, she was not looking to get involved in anything permanent. She was interested in having fun and great sex without the complications that came with having a relationship. As a rule, Allyson avoided doctors as she thought they were arrogant and self-righteous. When she discovered that Heath was a doctor, it had her rethinking her views. The last thing she expected was that she would have fallen in love with a doctor.
My opinions on this installment are mixed. I enjoyed this story, however, there were a few things that I had an issue with. I was hoping for more information on Heath. I was curious to know why he became a doctor. Also, it would have been good to know what impact the attack on his parents and ultimately the loss of his father had on him, and how he dealt with the aftermath.
Although I enjoyed reading about Ally and Heath, I thought their romance lacked some amount of authenticity. Everything went so smoothly. They did have reservations as things were moving fast. However, based on their past relationships I was expecting that there would have been issues arising from this. The ending was beautiful. It brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. The story was entertaining and funny.
The love scenes are passionate and full of sensuality. I thought Heath and Ally were perfect for each other. What I enjoyed was the fact that the story was not solely about sex. There was substance and meaning behind the story.
Overall, this was a good read. Not my favourite of the series so far, but still an enjoyable read.
I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

Wow, what a scorcher of a beginning for this second novella in the Wild Boys series! This story centres around Heath, a medical doctor, who has perfected the bedside chat perfectly!
The eldest of Mary Lou Wild's sons, Heath is my favourite although all the brothers are sexy and very likeable. What makes his and Ally's relationship so believable is their ability to communicate with each other on so many levels, making this a truly must-read book.
Heath Wild and Ally Jenner meet at a medical conference and hook-up after they can't deny the mutual attraction sizzling between them. They agree it's just one night but, one night just isn't enough. They agree to spend a second night together before going their separate ways knowing only their first names and telephone numbers. Do they want to see where this attraction takes them, or simply remember the memories of their short time together?
Their sexual chemistry makes them highly compatible in the bedroom, but it is their overwhelming need to pursue what started as a one-night stand that scares them both to death. Their mutual feelings for each other take them both by surprise, leaving them indecisive about how to progress forward. They both have trust issues from previous relationships, so have a valid reason for walking away.
“You're so communicative,” she said with a smile.
Heath's strength is his communication skills. He's fighting his own inner feelings but still wants to talk and ask Ally if she feels the same way...what her concerns are etc... She's reluctant to reveal her insecurities, but Heath skilfully manages to coax her into believing they have something worth pursuing, even when he's not 100% sure himself.
Reading a Melissa Foster book means you know you'll be getting a well written narrative, with strong, personable protagonists. Heath, far exceeds my expectation on that score and I love that the heat level has been ramped up in this fabulous series. I'm not usually a fan of novellas, but I've now had a change of heart. Keep them coming…!

The fear of falling is shared by many. Taking that first step requires trust and faith in the equipment you're in, in the person you're with, or both.
Heath and Ally's story starts with a bang. Literally. The sex is hot, intense, wild, and freeing. But it isn't enough for either of them. Their initial promise of first names only and no other information is broken as their thoughts and longings for one another intensify. A chance run-in brings their once separated worlds together and, suddenly, New York City isn't so big anymore.
I liked this story more than Logan. The intensity of Heath and Ally's connection was heart and soul deep, maybe due in part to the similar way their past relationship with others ended. It doesn't take long for Heath to know that Ally is more than an amazing bed partner. She's everything he could ever want, need, and hope for in a life partner.
The attraction between Heath and Ally is undeniable. Ms. Foster does a great job making that aspect of their relationship front-and-center. But then she builds on it, grows the physical need into an emotional one that overshadows the former. It enables them to fall, though Ally did it with hesitation. But Heath waits patiently with the promise to catch her when she does.
She does, and so does he.
Like Logan, this story moves quickly. Unlike Logan, for whatever reason, the leap from lust to love didn't seem so instant to me. Heath isn't angsty, suspenseful or action packed. It's a simple story about two people who weren't looking for anything yet found everything in each other.

After reading the first book in the series, I immediately dove into Heath’s book as I wanted to meet the other boys in the family and see how their stories would play out as they may be brother’s but they wouldn’t have the same formulaic stories right
Well this book didn’t disappoint and was a stronger book in my opinion. The second book in the Wild Boys series features Heath the oldest brother in the Wild family and the man who lives for his work and has a policy when it comes to women.
No last names. No strings. No ties.
Except of the silk variety.
Until this all thrown out of the window when he meets Allyson ‘Aly’ Jenner and has a simple tryst with her whilst on a conference that is happening out of town . But one taste isn’t enough as each of them can’t forget that simple tryst and exchange numbers.
And one night turns into two and Heath seems to breaking his rules but will he go all the way ?
I love the whole fate angle with this book and how everything played out. These two were cute together whilst obviously their relationship was pretty down and dirty. Their banter and them just together it was magical and all swoony worthy. I loved that author went straight to the dirty with the start of the book and how creative she got with the places they had sex and the dates that they went on
I can’t wait to read the other brothers books. She has definitely has a winning series here

I really enjoyed this second book in the Wild Boys After Dark series! This is Heath and Ally's hot and steamy story. They meet at a conference and engage in a night of hot passion, agreeing to one night, no strings. But Heath can't stop thinking about the sweet but fiery woman, and breaks his own rules, looking for more. This is a sweet and sexy story about two people who have built walls around their hearts, after being lied to by past lovers, and how their fiery passion breaks them down.
I again enjoyed Robert Ashker Kraft's smooth, deep voice. It is easy to listen to and his inflections only help to make this romance even more enchanting!
It was fun catching up with the Wild family and I can't wait to listen to Jackson's story next!

Oops I realized I forgot to post my second review for this second book today. Anyways as I just said Heath's book is the second book in the The Wild Boys After Dark series. I'm really liking the tone of these books from Mrs. Foster and the sexiness in them.
I really liked Heath in this book and getting to know him better. Heath is particularly looking for a relationship. But after one night with Allyson finds himself wanting to be with her more.
Alright I'm going to have to be honest here and say I had to change Allyson's name in my head. I have a sister who is Alison and we call her Ally, but so not the point. But was kind of weird thinking of the characters and calling her Ally. Again not the point but I'm sure you can figure out what I mean. Anyways Ally was just like Heath and looking for a one night stand but couldn't get enough of him.
I'm really enjoying this new series from Mrs. Foster. I'm enjoying all the Wild Boys and the sexiness of this series. Although these books are shorter than the usual length of her stories. I don't find them lacking.
I'm giving this one a 4 out of 5 stars also.

When Heath Wild meets Ally, he couldn't imagine that his days of enjoying one-night stands were going to be over. They just wanted to have fun for one night and then carry on with their lives, but fate wasn't going to go easy on them. Discovering they work in the same hospital, Ally never thought that the successful Doctor Heath Wild would have any interest in her... apart from their naughty deeds in the bedroom, of course. Both of them were going to be surprised.
The level of hotness in this book was a bit higher than in the previous book in this series, and I enjoyed that. But also, the level of romance is higher too. We will discover that the Wild men have a very romantic side as well. One thing I like about these books is that we already start to see hints of what is going to happen in future books. I am enjoying tremendously reading about the Wild brothers, and I cannot wait to read about the Bad brothers too.
If you are looking for a fast and entertaining read for the weekend, this is the book for you.

With Heath, Ms. Foster created a story centered around people afraid to be vulnerable. Heath sense of self is the powerful to always be in control. Maybe the basis for that is centered around his career as a doctor or the lost of his parent which he had no control over. Ally is insecure, closed off and has difficulty trusting. Melissa Foster putting together a man with control issues and a woman with trust issues proved vital to the consensus of the story. One chance night, a sole encounter set them on the course to mending and finding the place each was meant to be. With each other. I received an ARC of Heath(Wild Boys After Dark #2) in exchange for an honest review. I have read both Logan and Heath so far. With personalities that are larger than life, sexiness that should be outlawed and hearts in need of TLC these Wild Boys are not to be missed.

Book 2 of the Wild brothers series brings us Heath. He is the oldest of the brothers and feels a responsibility to his siblings because he became the father figure when their father was taken too soon. He is a successful doctor and is happy with his work and family. He doesn't want attachments, so when he is away at a conference he has a one night stand, but he sure wasn't expecting anyone like Ally. She is the perfect partner to his dom tendencies and the scenes with these two are hotter than hot! They are both thinking they are just having a one night stand, but they find out they have more in common than they thought. Such a well written story and we get to hear more about Logan and Stormy from the first book. If Heath was real I would break something just to go see this ortho specialist!

I am about half way through and will be finishing this up today, I had a bit of a set back.
Melissa Foster has written another great book that pulled me in from the start! A very hot intense sex scene in my opinion is what started this one. I am a sucker for hot sex scenes. Heath is a one night stand guy and makes his intentions clear. Ally agrees and the hot one night stand begins. Heath sets his boundaries but after a night with Ally finds himself wanting to break them. Ally however plays a little bit of hard to get unsure of Heaths intentions. These two characters are awesome together in every way from the way they interact to the the very steamy sex scenes where the passion ignites. You don't want to miss this book! I will be back to update after I am completely done.
I needed a cold shower after the first chapter. This book was soo hot I was left begging for more. Heath is a gentleman but a freak in the sheets.
He meets his match when he meets Ally. Ally is quiet and reserved until you get her between the sheets. Heath and Ally both like being in charge in the bed which makes Heath want her even more. They decide to only share one night and first names.
After that one night, they both want more. They decide to share a little about themselves through dirty text messages. They realize that what they really want is eachother. Heath and Ally heat up the pages and show us that things are wilder after dark.

Imagine a one night stand, with no strings and no last names, so satisfyingly intense that it leads to a second night. Heath Wild and Allyson Jenner meet at a medical convention in Vermont where they indulged in 2 "one night stands" and parted ways with the expectation of never seeing one another again.
What a small world it is, when they meet again in the most unlikely of places and decide to pursue the scariest thing to them both; a relationship. Their story reminds you that when men see something they want, there's no stopping them from pursuing them, no matter the circumstances in which they met.

This book starts from the first sentence very steamy and sexual. If you have ever fantasized about having a hot doctor, this is definitely the book for you. Heath is the man that every woman wants, he falls hard, fast and heavy and genuinely cares about Ally and her blind cat. A well written character, that puts his love and family first and make you want to read more about him and his brothers. The delve into what makes this an After Dark
Book only endears the reader more and gives a taste of what can be done with a silk tie and a little imagination. Well done Melissa!

Who would have thought that a woman who is insecure and a man who has trust issues would be a match made in heaven.
If you think Logan Wild was HOT in #1 he has nothing on his brother Heath, who is still the sweetheart guy we got a glimpse of with Logan, but still lets his naughty side out once in a while.
His motto is Get in, Get off, Get out. Until he meet Ally.
Ally was only looking for a "One - Night - No - Strings" attached kind of night to keep her distance or from getting too close to men especially with her track record. I won't go into what happens in the book I will leave that pleasure to you! But I will tell you its Sizzling H.O.T.T HOT

The Wild Boys After Dark just got hotter, naughty and steamier with Heath and Ally straight from page one.
Both Heath and Ally have been burned by love in the past and one night stands is what they have to protect their hearts. But when the pair meet at a medical conference one night is not going to be enough for either of them.
Heath is one hawt male but is so gentle and caring that you'll fall in love with him instantly. Ally is more than a match for Heath, she is sassy, independent, caring and sexy.
The pages are burning up with this couple. Keep a fan nearby with this read, you'll need it.

Melissa Foster continues to write a fabulous storyline with Heath's book. If you are a fan of her work you will love catching up with other characters from her Love in Bloom Series. The Bradens and the Remingtons are also seen in this terrific read.
The Wild Boys are a family who put their loved ones first. They are strong willed, devoted and will always get what they focus their attention on. I can't wait to read more about this amazing family!
