Handsome and Artsy….that’s how Nash Morgan was described on a website when Tempest Braden looked him up. She figured that it was a great combination for a room mate. She had been temporarily bunking with her cousin, but because of the odd hours that she kept, Tempest NEEDED to find her own place where she could get her routine set up.

Nash Morgan is a single dad who used to be an artist. He started making furniture when his son was born in order to pay the bills. The furniture is beautiful and original, a nice way to let his love of making something people will love out. However, he longs to get back to the metal sculpting he is known for. But with a toddler, it’s not a safe thing to do.

Tempest wants to start her own business, music therapy for children. She also helps out at hospitals with her therapy with the sick children. But her first love is teaching and using her music as a way to heal. This is why she has come to Pleasant Hill. She longs to make a good life for herself. Step one is to find an affordable place to live and set up camp. Enter Artsy and Handsome Nash Morgan and his adorable little boy. Nash is renting a room in his home for extra money so he can focus on his business.

Once Tempest moves in with the duo, she starts to notice little quirks about Phillip, Nash’s son. He was almost non-verbal, but not because of anything physically wrong with him, but because of the life he has been living alone with his protective dad. Nash loves his boy more than anything and all he wants to do is raise him in a safe place. Nash didn’t realize the developmental delays because of their secluded existence.

The sparks started flying immediately when Tempest and Nash met. Heat and connection, these two can’t keep their hands off each other. He leaned how to be a better daddy because of her and he opened up to the possibility of long term love.

This story is so sweet. It brings hope and faith to the forefront and shows that even though bad events happen in your life, there is always a chance at love.

Whisper of Love by Melissa Foster is sweet. It reminds you that family is everything, love can be perfect and life is what you make it.

Whisper of Love is the first book by author Melissa Foster that I have had the opportunity to read. The unique characters and their amazing journey immediately drew me into their story.
Tempest Braden is a talented music therapist who brings comfort to hospital patients and their family. A nurturing, caring person, she has left her family and her hometown to focus on her music. Tempe needs a quiet place to live where she can concentrate on writing music. She meets Nash Morgan and his son Philip when she visits their farm to look at a room.
Tempe’s presence at the farm changes both Nash and Philip. Her positive energy and love of life brings joy into their lives. Nash has devoted himself to raising Philip. Nash abandoned a very lucrative career as a talented woodworking artist to raise his son. Nash is so devoted to his son that he’s forgotten about himself and his needs.
There are several poignant scenes in the novel. My favorite scene is when Philip showed Tempe how to collect the eggs in the chicken coop. Tempe realized that three- year old Phillip couldn’t count. She asks if she can collect a few eggs and counts each one as she puts them into her basket. Philip quickly learns to count and starts to count everything in sight from eggs to pancakes! Nash realizes that he has sheltered Philip and that they have been missing out on enjoying life.
The romance that develops between Tempe and Nash is passionate and it intensifies with each chapter. Ms. Foster writes two characters who are trying to find personal happiness with the correct blend of passion and emotion. Tempe and Nash’s story made me smile, laugh and cry. I appreciated that the characters stayed true to themselves-each of them had emotional and professional obstacles to overcome- in this well-paced story.

Whisper of Love (The Bradens at Peaceful Harbor, MD #5) by Melissa Foster
I read the book as well as listened to the audiobook. You’ll want to do both!

I love audio books and B.J. Harrison is one of my favorite narrators. He continually does an exceptional job of breathing life into Melissa Foster's unforgettable characters, putting you in the middle of the story with his ability.

Nash Morgan is a hot, brooding and completely devoted single dad to his adorable three-year-old son Phillip. He's cautious and careful, putting his son's well-being above all else, even putting his successful sculpting career on hold. Nash is no stranger to tragedy and he makes Phillip the center of his universe. He is a tortured soul who guards his heart. Watching the two of them go about their daily routine melts your heart. Nash is openly affectionate with Phillip and nothing is sweeter, always wanting Phillip to feel loved and secure. Nash decides to rent a room out for extra income and he's extremely careful about who he's bringing into their home and into their lives.

Enter Tempest "Tempe" Braden. Beautiful, sweet, sexy and completely genuine, Tempest is a music therapist who moved to Pleasant Hill to grow her business and rents the room Nash has advertised. Tempe is open and so easy to be around that she helps open Nash's eyes to some things Phillip might be missing out on.

I love that while hard for Nash to hear that Phillip might have needs that weren't being met, he never was resentful, but considered all that Tempe suggested and as always, put Phillip's needs first, and in the process opened himself up to a world of possibilities.

There are so many things I loved, loved, loved about this book. Tempest is the perfect woman for Nash and mother for Phillip. Phillip made me want another child. He's sweet, lovable and a mini version of Nash in all the best ways. And Nash? He was the perfect tortured artist yearning for love! Melissa Foster weaves a magic thread throughout the story, making you laugh, cry and hope as you're witness to a family being born.

I loved Tru Blue and Tempting Tristan so much I didn't think I'd find another Melissa Foster book that could rival them in a completely different way - I was wrong. Like all her books I read this one twice!

Fate lends its hand again. Tempest is the a music therapist that wanted to expand her business & get out of a rot. She moved to Pleasant Hill & tried to live with her cousin. Unfortunately, they were as different as good be & so Tempest went looking for a room to rent. A chance posting on an ad board in the town cafe has led her to Nash Morgan, a reclusive artist & single father.

Nash was attracted to Tempest from the moment he met her. Was he right to bring her into his son's life? After his son's mother walked out on them, Nash has taken his responsibility to Phillip seriously. But was he doing enough for him? And should he feel guilty for missing creating his metal sculptures?

This book has become my new favorite! The interactions between the characters were so realistic & drew me further into the story. My sympathies were engaged upon meeting Nash & Phillip but I loved their relationship. Nash was like any typical man would be if found in the same situation. Wanting to keep him safe & secure but not realizing he has completely isolated him from normal child interactions. I love that Tempest didn't barge in & take over but gently & carefully began to pull them both out of their shells. I could easily picture Phillip mimicking his dads actions! This is another great read by Melissa Foster - full of wit, humor, sexiness & love. You don't want to miss it!

Tempest is looking to expand her work options when it comes to music so not only does she need a change but peace and quite to work. Nash posted a ad for a room available and its just what she needs. Ever since Phillip came along its only been him and Nash alone, not needing much from anyone else, Nash will do everything he can to make sure his son is loved and cared for. But things start to change and start heating up when Nash allowed Tempest to move into the spare room.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved seeing that the child plays a role in the story and didn't just fade into the background. I loved seeing the the connection between Tempest and Nash. I also loved seeing the interaction between Nash, Phillip and Tempest. I loved seeing the development in Phillip seeing him slowly but surely open his shell as well as seeing the father giving the son slack to watch him grow a bit. Although I found Tempest to be pushy when it came to Nash and Phillips communication, I was curious was waiting for the moment that hed say butt out because they didn't know her long and she was a bit pushy at times when it came to communication. Overall this book was really enjoyable. Nicely written, with interesting characters it was an overall pretty great book. Its one of those types that once you start reading you really don't want to put the book down.

"Whisper of Love" by Melissa Foster. I really am at a loss for words. Ms. Foster has taken hold of my heart and won't let go. I don't know if I could love two characters (well, actually three) more than I do Nash and Tempest. And of course, Phillip is beyond adorable too. Nash is such an amazing person -a super dad, an extremely hard worker and best of all, a super sexy lover. Tempest is sweet and lovable, the yang to Nash's ying. The relationship between these two was true and real. It moved at a beautiful pace and any issues that arose, they dealt with together. I loved that. So often in stories, secrets are kept or the couples won't lean on the other for strength, but not these two. It was freeing to read a beautiful love story of two people that fall in love and believe and trust in that love to overcome obstacles or hardships that come with life. Ms. Foster literally had me in tears, but not from sadness but an overwhelming feeling of warmth, love and happiness. This is, by far, my favorite story by this wonderful author, and that is saying a lot as I have enjoyed many of her works in the past. If you have not had the opportunity to partake in a tale by Melissa Foster, than I highly recommend "Whisper of Love". Note: while this is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.

Melissa Foster does it again with story of the beautiful Tempest Braden and sexy single dad Nash Morgan. Tempest is looking to stretch her wings outside of her loving yet overbearing family. Nash Morgan gave up the gypsy life of the starving artist, even though his work being highly sought after, for the more mundane work of a furniture maker in order to provide a stable life for his son. Nash is looking for someone to rent a room to help with expenses but he never expected the lovely Tempest to remind him that he is a man as well as a dad. It's a beautiful story to see the three of them slowly become a couple and a family. It tugs your heartstrings. I loved it. It is the most sentimental of the books so far. The touching moments. The intimacy. Rediscovering of artistic passion.

I absolutely love books by Melissa Foster. They're light yet full, fun, safe, sweet, romantic, sexy, relevant, and brilliantly constructed. WHISPER OF LOVE was no exception!

I found, once again, that the characters were easy to love. Tempest was a music therapist with a heart of gold. Her beauty went far beyond skin deep. She was ambitious, family-oriented, extremely loving, and as pure a soul as one can find in any book. Nash was a bit of a tortured hero, in that he had suffered loss and hadn't quite come to grips with all that life had handed him. He was also a single father to a delightful three year old boy whose mother had abandoned them. Even if I wasn't already swayed and huge fan of his, the interactions with his son would have owned my heart.

The development of a relationship between Nash and Tempest was both hot and sweet. This story made my point for me and gave further proof as to why Melissa Foster is a one-click author for me. I'm guaranteed a great time with passionate relationships, strong heroines, and swoon-worthy heroes!

Melissa Foster has become a favorite of mine, in a short time. Well, actually I fell in love after the very first book I read to be honest, and now, I just read whatever her newest book is without looking at the blurb. Tempest is music therapist with the biggest heart, and Nash is the yummy tortured soul, and single father. And the two of them together, shot sparks out of my kindle. And that's all I'm saying about that, now on to my dramatic girly girl emotions. One of my favorite things about Whisper of Love, is the fact that the journey was sweet, and yet, fiery hot at the same time. Melissa Foster's absolutely brilliant writing style never fails to draw me in from the get go, and this story is no exception. I don't even start her books anymore unless I have the time to read the whole thing in one sitting, as it's nearly impossible to get me to put them down, and never before bedtime, as there would be no sleep. The other thing that I love so much, is the heroine, Tempest, is strong and awesome! I'm permanently on the edge of my seat waiting for the next awesome story to come out, and I also can't do anything else but HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to ALL!

Whisper of Love quickly became one of my favorite books by author Melissa Foster.

Tempest has made appearances in other books by Melissa, so I definitely been anticipating her story. She is such an intriguing character, so warm, caring, and enciteful, that you cannot help but love her and want to know more about her!

She moves into a spare room in Nash's home and is instantly taken with Nash and his young son, Phillip. The two of them have a bond like no other, but Tempest causes them to make changes that has them coming out of their shells

This book was such a cute story. I loved getting to know both characters, and watching them connect on an extremely deep level first made their love for one another even more special. Well done, Melissa!

***I needed to edit this review, because I also had the chance to listen to the audio version of this book! I LOVE the narrator. He has done all of Melissa's books, and I am a huge fan. Even doing the female voices, he really does a great job of bringing you right into the story, portraying each character so well, and making you want to listen all the way through. What a fun audio book! <3

I absolutely adored Whisper of Love. Tempest Braden plays music for patients at the hospital, but she wants to open her own place. In the meantime, she needs a place to live. Responding to an ad posted on a board, she meets Nash Morgan and his three year old son, Phillip.

Both Tempest and Nash both helped each other. Tempest, focused on her career, has spent most of her time working and helping others, putting herself last. Nash, a single father, has secluded himself and his son. He doesn't get out and socialize, and Phillip, lacking socialization, doesn't know how to act around other children. Nash and Phillip help Tempest figure out that it's ok to go after what she wants and put herself first, while she helps Nash realize just what both and Phillip are missing.

There's no drama in this book, just a sweet romance with three people learning to become a family. The interactions between Tempest and Phillip are cute, and it was adorable watching him break out of his shell around her. I now have another new favorite Braden couple.

What can I say about this story? Melissa Foster keeps writing more touching story lines about real life situations that we can all relate to in one way or another. The story about the beautiful Tempest (Tempe), sexy Nash and adorable Phillip (Flip) was full of anguish, love, lust, desire, and full on fun.
Tempe is the sweetest woman, with a kind and giving soul. Nash is a sexy, strong, somewhat repressed single dad to Phillip. After Phillips mom walked out on them, he chose to seclude himself and raise Phillip all on his own. All it takes is for Tempe to enter their world to spin his perfectly secluded life on its axis. Tempe brings out the best in Nash and teaches Phillip new things and how to be independent. The story combines a lust between Nash and Tempe that was palpable, with her kind heart to bring them together, and find their way to where they are meant to be. The ending, which I will leave a surprise, was the cutest thing ever and so very touching.
Giving us a few surprises along the way, Melissa Foster brings the rest of the Braden family into the story and makes you fall in love with them all over again.

Tempest, Nash and little Phillip (Flip) wow... I was smiling one moment, crying the next and then laughing. How could you not love a sexy single dad that puts his child first and everything else is secondary. He truly loves his son until Tempest finds her way into his heart. Tempest decides to "grow up" and move away from the safe Peaceful Harbor where the other Braden's live. She finds a room to rent in Nash's house. I love all the Braden books but this one just took my breath away. The way Melissa Foster writes, everything just comes to life before your eyes. You have no problem picturing the animals with Nash and Phillip feeding them, or picking vegetables from the garden. You can hear Tempest sweet voice singing and strumming her guitar. You can see her interacting with the children in the hospital and in her children's groups. You can feel the texture of the clothes. You can see the vibrancy of the colors! You can not go wrong reading this book, or any of Melissa Fosters books! I have to warn you though... like potato chips once you start you can't stop with just one of her books!

Oh wow!! I love The Bradens of Peaceful Harbour and Tempe is so far my favourite. I Loved this story from the very beginning and couldn't put it down. This book is the ultimate definition of a pure Love Story. Tempe's character is so sweet calm and lovable, she is the type that when she loves someone she is all in with her heart. She wasn't looking for love but then again it always catches you when you least expect it. Nash Morgan is looking for someone to rent out a room in his house to so he can save for his son Flip's future and update his furniture making equipment, he definitely wasn't expecting to come across Tempest Braden. Nash is a little gruff around the edges until you get to know him, then you get to see the wounded loving father he is. Once you see the way he interacts with his 3yr old son you will fall completely in love with these two adorable men!! Just like Tempe.
Another massive HIT for Melissa Foster. It is an emotional, sweet sexy, swoon worthy read that will have you laughing and crying at the same time and will definitely leave you speechless

I love listening to this story after reading it in print when it was first released!

I seriously loved this story! I don’t know if it was “watching” Phillip and Nash together, or having already enjoyed Tempe’s character in other Peaceful Harbor books. Nash is a single dad. Both Nash and his son Phillip are super sweet, but very used to being on their own. Tempe has moved away from home and needs a quiet place to work on her music and growing her business. After seeing Nash’s ad for a room for rent, Tempe ends up renting a room from Nash. I could see the instant match between the two. There is a love of music, love of family, and all around being amazing people.

After Tempe moves in, we get to watch the relationship between Tempe, and Nash and Phillip begin. I can’t help but be drawn to Nash and Tempe and their future. Both are amazing people and a part of an amazing family. I absolutely loved watching the progression of their time together. Melissa makes me want to watch pretty much anything and everything she writes!

Tempest has a passion for music therapy for children who are sick and has made the move from her home to make things happen, but needs a space away from her cousin to really get work done.

Nash is a dedicated single father to his son Phillip, doing whatever it takes to make sure he gives his son what he needs including his time. This means he had to downscale his business and rent out a room to make ends meet.

Enter Tempest who makes Nash remember how it feels to be someone more than a father. Before a commitment is made to rent the room, Tempest feels something stirring in her apart from her dedication to her business.

When Tempest decides to take the plunge, their journey begins. Melissa always has me ready pack my bags and book a vacation or in this case look for a room to rent for a short time, another great read!

What an amazing book. There are so many feels in this book it's hard to keep track. Nash is the tall dark and quiet type and very much so the protective Alpha...especially of his baby boy. Tempest is this sexy, talented beautiful soul and lights up a room when she enters. She brings so much to the lives of Nash and Phillip that they gravitate towards her...and in turn he's upended her world that she can't seem to function without them. This book reveals so much about personal experiences and tragedies and wraps them in love and strength that proves the test of time. I couldn't stop listening to this story, BJ Harrison hit the nail on the head with his narration talent, it was so captivating that I truly felt a part of the story. I felt joy and laughter and hurt and loss along with the characters and love was abundantly over flowing at one point it was magical. Truly an amazing addition to all the Braden storylines, and one of a kind.

The Bradens continue on with Tempest. She has lots of love. She feels like she has love to give, but the right man must be the recipient of her love and dedication. She did not know that needing that space from family and friends would lead her to a little man that stole her heart. Nash and Phillip had what Tempest needed. Peace and serenity away from her family, but at the same time warmth and genuine atmosphere. Its Tempest turn to find that everlasting, hear warming, soul stirring, life changing love. All done in a way that only Melissa Foster can do it with fun, witt, warmth, sweet, sexy, slow, seduction and compassion.

An adorable little boy, a sexy, rugged single dad and a sweet and loving young woman...combined with Melissa Foster's beautiful words and storytelling and you've got a five star read that made me smile, sigh and cry all the way through it!
Nash and Tempe are two souls whose spirits are drawn to one another through a series of signs. He centers her while she expands Nash and little Phillip's world to include not only her but many wonderful new experiences.
I have a special place in my heart for music therapy, so I was beyond thrilled to get to know Tempest in regards to her job. It's not a career for the faint of heart, but for a kind, loving and giving individual, which Foster captured perfectly. And I could visualize every silent conversation between father and son; every hand holding, kiss given...thanks to her brilliant writing.

This book will have you falling in love with Nash and Tempest and of course Phillip. Nash is a single dad to 3 year old Phillip. He is an artist who is just trying to do his best as a single dad and raise a good kid.

Tempest is trying to live her life to the fullest and expand her music therapy business. She decides to rent a room from Nash and and it does not take long for sparks to fly and for her to fall in love with Phillip or "Flip" as she calls him. Nash says his name so fast that she thinks he is saying Flip.

Tempest helps Phillip gain some social skills he is lacking by always being with his dad and not around other kids. She helps him with basics like counting and you see a big transformation in both Flip and Nash.

There is of course a HEA and the end is soo cute you will be swooning for Nash.

Another wonderful romance by Foster! Tempest and Nash are both living life alone, and taking life slow. They are unsure of what their lives hold beyond today. But fate brings Tempest to Nashs' farm to rent his room. Nash is a quiet guy raising his 3 year old. The last thing he was looking for was another wean after his sons mom left them. But Tempest opens him up to things with the little boy that is slowly stealing her heart. They take things slow and cautious and find that all the signs lead to the love they find. Nash meets Tempest as a family of two. With her help and love he finds trust and gains a new relationship with his mom and more family as the Braden's open their arms to him. There's a proposal you don't want to miss and one cute little boy!

BJ Harrison did a great job bringing this story to life. Who doesn’t love a man that is totally immersed in his child… Nash Morgan is trying to raise a son on his own and when he needs to rent out a room to make a little extra cash, he isn’t prepared for all that Tempest Braden will bring to his and Phillip’s life. Tempest forces him to let go a little for his sake and that of his son. And Tempest gets just as much out of the relationship. Tempest has left her family (although she didn’t go far and is never out of range of other Bradens) to try to jump start her business. Helping (and loving) Nash and Phillip is just what she needs as well. It is a beautiful story of loving people coming together and opening their hearts to possibilities. Listening to their story was a great way to spend a cold afternoon in front of the fire!

This is book five in the Bradens of Peaceful Harbor series and I have no clue what number in the overall series but don't let that throw you...even though there's recurring characters, the book completely stands alone. Melissa Foster is the queen of endearing contemporary romance! When loner single father Nash and his son, Phillip meet the loving and giving Tempest, passions flair. They have such a sweet and instant connection. The closeness that blossoms between Nash and Tempest is just made stronger by the precious relationship between father and son. This story is far more than sex, it's about learning to trust as well as love's powerful ability to heal. It's really a feel good kind of book! Told from dual POVs with a sweet ending. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This was one of the best love stories.... a single dad..a three year old...and Tempest Braden. This was one of the most touching love stories. A man that after the mother of there child takes off when he's a baby, and he makes it his life goal to make sure his son is happy. Who gives up all his plans and dreams to make sure his son is happy and cared for.
Tempest who loves kids and connects so well with these to handsome men. How she makes learning for this child a fun thing.
And OMG! BJ did an incredible job with this one. I was laughing so much and Phillips voice was perfect!
Nash went thru a lot in this book. It's a must listen! You will not be disappointed.
And oh wait till you here Phillip sing jingle bells.

If you cannot resist Philip's charm, worst if you meet his Dad Nash? These father, and son is beyond adorable and vulnerable that is why Tempest cannot resist them both. I so loved this story as the rest of Melissa Foster's book.

Whisper Of Love is such a heart warming read. It is sweet, funny and at the same time very hot. Nash and Tempest cannot stop kissing. They will make you pant like you are in-front of the fireplace licking an ice cream.

This story is so emotional. You might need some extra Kleenex just in case. If you love music, no doubt you will enjoy reading this book. It is also a beautiful story of letting go and pursue your dreams.

It is one of the sweetest proposal from Melissa Foster's book. I am so in-loved with Philip even more.

I feel so repetitive but I seriously have enjoyed all of Melissa Foster's books. She always has a way with words. I am pulled in and I connect to her characters. This book was no different. Nash and his son need help with money so rent out a room to Tempest. They have both pretty much given up on love and don't expect it to happen. Tempest's siblings are all married and she is left single. Nash has other issues on his mind than a lady. When he rents out that room his life changes. Nash is a great father and very protective of his son and who he lets in their lives. Tempest is great with Phillip (Nash's son). The story is a great love story and was such a sweet one. I really loved it! I did receive and ARC of the book in exchange for my honest unbiased review.

Tempest, Nash and Phillip are so, so good in this book. I'm forever in love with all of them. Once again Melissa Foster has made her characters so real and relatable that you can't help but fall for them. The kisses alone will have you hot and bothered. How could you not love a guy that loves his son so much that he put his love of sculpting on hold to spend as much time together as they possibly could? Nash and Phillip are so content to be by themselves and in comes Tempest into their lives trying to make a change in her life yet usually so cautious. You've got to read this story! I guarantee you will love it. Nash, Phillip and Tempest just grabbed my heart and held on for dear life and I'm ok with that. They will live on forever in there.

The Braden's are just a fun and loving bunch of people. Tempest is no different although she is a little cautious when it comes to relationships. When she needs to find a place to rent the last thing she expected was the intense emotions that Nash and Phillip bring to her.

A wonderful feel good story with some heartbreak thrown in. I have become addicted to the Braden bunch.

Tempest Braden just wants a quiet life, to focus on her music and helping others through her music. She is ready for a change. Along comes Nash, a sexy single dad that offers just what she needs, a quiet place to live, write her music and along the way she finds what else is missing in her life.....love. A beautifully written story that touched my heart. Melissa's writing has always been able to transport me to another place, to get into the story and fall in love with all her characters. Each time I read one of her books, I think to myself "she couldn't do any better than that" and then she writes the next book and I am blown away again.

Melissa Foster has given us another amazing book with Whisper of Love. Tempest Braden is a smart, beautiful and caring woman trying to start over in a new town. While trying to expand her children's music class to full time, she works at the hospital playing her guitar for sick patients. She both plays and writes music. Needed a temporary place to stay until she can get on her feet, she answers an ad for a room in a quiet farm setting. The room is in the house of the gorgeous and mysterious Nash Morgan. He's a single father to three old Phillip and an artist. Sparks fly between Tempe and Nash instantly. It's just been him and his son and he is very protective. The more Tempe works her way into both their lives, she also works her way into both their hearts.

I received and voluntary reviewed an ARC of this book. This book was read and reviewed by Stacy Aube for Cutting Muse Blog Review.

Melissa has pounded out another powerful emotional story. B. J. Harrison narrated the audiobook and it is perfection.
Tempest Braden leaves Peaceful Harbor, MD. to Pleasant Hill, MD. to build a fresh new life for herself and a new business. She rents a room from Nash Morgan who has a three year old son Phillip. Nash is a sculpture artist, single father and takes his son with him everywhere he goes. Tempest brings new energy to both father and son. Will she be enough or to much for them? Go find out!!

If you love romance and you love a book that will allow you an escape, then you need to read ALL of Melissa Foster's books!

Melissa Foster did it again! She is aces at weaving a story of heartache and love. Nash is a single father of a 3 year old little boy named Phillip. Tempest is new to town and looking for a room to rent. When she moves in with Nash and Phillip it doesn't take long for their hearts to reach out for each other. Tempest helps Nash heal from the loss of his brother so many years ago and to let him know he can be an amazing dad and still give his little boy the independence he needs to grow up and socialize with other people. Nash helps Tempest realize what she wants from her life and goes about making it happen for her.

Whisper of Love is a sweet, sexy read and one of the best yet by Melissa Foster.

I love reading Melissa Foster books! They always leave me feeling warm and fuzzy inside, and Whisper of Love is no different! I loved the tension that built between Nash and Tempest, and I loved the fact that they were both a little wary (in a good way) of it. There was no rushing things, but there was also no denying what was between them, and I felt that these two struck the perfect balance.

And then there's Philip. He was so cute. I'm not sure there are even words! But each time he'd do something sweet or cute, I ended up with a sappy smile on my face. And the ending! Well that was something else! Absolutely perfect!

There was good chemistry between the leads, as well as a good amount of emotion and understanding. Plus a great dose of Bradens!

Nash is a well-known, incredible artist who has given up his artist lifestyle and creating art to raise his little boy. He is a recluse and has made a nice, quiet life for him and Phillip on the farm. Unfortunately, Nash is struggling financially and if he wants to continue to stay home with Phillip, he is going to need to take in a roommate. Tempest is a musical therapist who is trying to expand her horizons and her business by moving to the next town over. She needs a place to live and Nash’s home is perfect, but should she rent a room from Nash when she is so attracted to him? Can Nash open up to Tempest about the painful loss of his brother? Melissa Foster knocks it out of the park again!! Another must read!!

Whisper of Love may be may favorite Melissa Foster book to date. I fell in love with the characters in this book right away. I mean come on who doesn't love an adorable 3 year old boy who calls himself Flip. Tempest Braden is one seriously amazing woman who can make anyone comfortable without a whole lot of effort. With some effort she is able to bring a whole lot of happiness to one over serious single dad who may be just a bit too over protective of his son.

Not only is Nash Morgan a great artist but he is an amazing father who put is art aside because he couldn't stand to be away from his son & it was too dangerous for Phillip 'Flip' to be around the tools. Tempest shows him that he doesn't have to be one or the other and that the ghosts of his past may not be all that they seem.

A sweet romance read that have me from the start and couldn't stop reading till the end. The characters Tempest, Nash, and Phillip were great characters. I loved them all. It was easy to fall in love with them.

A very well beautiful written story that everyone should definitely pick up and read. You won't be dissaponted.

A wonderful book about love and heartache of a single father(Nash), his son(Philip), and a beautiful young woman (Tempest) hunting for a new life and business. She rents a room from Nash for a quiet, restful environment to write songs & build a new business. Tempest had a unique way of weaving herself into the lives of Nash & Phillip. This is such an endearing story of music, guitars, lost family members, and complete reinventing their lives. It pulls your heart strings & you will have many tears to wipe away. It is a potent love story to put down and a great yearning to know their future. Beautiful writing, Melissa!

As before, Ms. Foster does not disappoint in this great read! I enjoyed the characters Tempe and Nash as they work through their issues and find love in each other. I also enjoyed Nash's son Phillip and his innocence. With the rest of her books, I liked the importance of family that was a repetitive theme throughout the book with the characters. I did think that the ending was a little rushed but it worked for this story and the characters to get their HEA. I would recommend this book to others.
I enjoyed the narration from Mr. Harrison as it was smooth and it flowed nicely throughout the entire story.

Whisper of Love is such a relatable story. I absolutely love books I can relate to. Nash Morgan is a single father to Phillip (Flip). Nash is very devoted to being a single father and giving Phillip everything he could ever need. His mother left when he was a baby leaving Nash to raise him alone. Tempest Braden is a music therapist who enjoys playing her misic and singing to sick children and adults. Tempest is very careful in life. When Tempest and Nash meet, he realizes what he has been missing in his life. Tempest and Nash are so perfect for each other. Melissa Foster has once again given us an amazing story to read.

Whisper of Love was an amazing story full of humor, compassion, and love. I was a goner the moment I "met" Nash and Phillip. Nash and Tempest had instant chemistry, which was undeniable and she and Phillip clicked immediately as well. Tempest is a natural teacher and her compassion for people is amazing. She always puts others before herself making her the perfect match for single dad Nash. They have a strong connection from the beginning which only gets stronger as the story unfolds. Melissa Foster does a great job of showing the reader how these three are destined to be together and need each other. I'm looking forward to another future Braden wedding!

Whisper of Love first finds us with Tempest Braden, the only female in the Peaceful Harbor Braden family. Tempest (Tempe) has just moved to Pleasant Hill, where her arranged living situation has fallen through. In her search for a place to stay, she finds single Dad, Nash and his adorable son Phillip (Flip). Tempe is very warm-hearted, good-natured and is a music therapist for children. She is a very impelling character.

Nash is a very strong, capable man and attentive single father who has gotten so used to doing the whole thing alone, that he doesn't even realize that he could possibly benefit from some outside help, especially when it's being offered by a woman. He is a great father to Flip, maybe a bit to over-protective of him in the beginning, possibly without even noticing it.

Phillip (Flip) is an exact miniature replica of his Father, Nash. He's an absolutely adorable little boy who grows on you very quickly in this story. Flip of course takes a little bit of time warming up to Tempe when she first moves in with them, but that is certainly to be expected, especially since he's never really even been around other people, let alone played with children his age or been to a park.

The story quickly progresses to where Tempe is offering Nash suggestions on ways he could possibly help Flip to become more sociable with others and also become engaged in activities with other children his age. She is always careful with the way she brings the suggestions in to play, and you can tell she only has both Nash and Flip's best interest at mind at all times.

Everything really starts getting good when Nash starts to soften to Tempe, as well as Flip and all three of them begin to notice the positive effects that they are having on each other in way more ways than one. You will most certainly experience a multitude of different emotions while reading this remarkable story and sharing this incredible heartfelt and inspirational journey with Tempe, Nash and Flip. I predict that you, like I, won't be able to put the book down once you have picked it up!

Whisper of Love can certainly be read as a standalone, but I should warn you that the entire Braden family can be pretty addicting, and I think you will find yourself wanting to read about each of them in more detail in all of the other Love In Bloom series books.

Melissa Foster has definitely delivered top-notch, once again!

An easy FIVE-STAR read!!

Tempest has decided that she needs a change of pace, and moves to Peaceful Harbor, and finds a room to rent from sexy Nash, and his adorable little boy Philip "flip".
Tempest is a music therapist for sick kids in the hospital, but hopes to change that. Nash is an artist, who began building furniture after his son was born, and the mother walked out.

The attraction between Nash and Tempest is instant, but both are overly cautious. Or are they?

You'll have to read this wonderful book for yourself to find out the rest of the story!!!!!

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Tempest Braden just needs a little peace and quiet from her loving family and moves to Pleasant Hill to find peace and build her business. She ends up renting a room from Nash Morgan and his sweet son Phillip. That’s when sparks begin to fly. Hot! Hot! Hot! Nash only wants what’s best for his son and is very protective of him and he begins to realize with a little help and nudging from Tempest, he can. This is another great book from Melissa Foster. I am an absolute sucker for a single dad story, and Nash and Phillip stole my heart incredibly quickly. The story has the same depth of character and plot that I've come to expect from Melissa Foster books, and the addition to Tempest to their little family made my heart soar. The development of Tempe's relationship with Phillip was just as heart warming as the development of her relationship with Nash was scorching, I cried happy tears at the end!
