I read the whole series, and enjoyed it very much. It's one of those books you don't want to put down. The research the author did was very accurate for the places mentioned in the books. It is easy to put yourself in the story. I didn't want it to end.

Love Tanner and Samantha. Marshall, not so much, he's a bit of dumba$$. The cliffhangers for next book did a poor job of setting up interest to read it. However, the survival hacks are very enjoyable to read.

The first eight or so were great reads -Elmore Leonard meets The Walking Dead - and even the Soylent Green theme was interesting in the new series. But ever since the gunslinger saga it has started to feel more like a video game script.

I have enjoyed every single book in "The Survivalist" series...but I have never been angrier at a character than I have been with Mason Raines, and many of the decisions he made.
Yes, the books are addictive, the writing (& editing) is flawless, the characters are easy to become attached to, Bowie is still amazing, you learn so much without even realizing it, but...seriously? Mason, what the crap are you thinking? I don't care how honorable you are, how pure your 'motives' claim to be, STOP MAKING STUPID CHOICES, and by stupid, I mean stop being so helpful and friendly to a girl who tried to kill you (and your little dog, too!)

Another great book chronicling the continuing adventures of Marshall, Tanner, and Sam. This installment sets up a new adventure for each of them Well written and fast moving. Arthur tells a great story and works in plenty of good tips. One of things I like how the "prepping" tips don't overwhelm the actual story.
Looking forward to the next book.

I didn’t realize from reading about the book on the the store site that this was a different series from the one I just completed (A. American-Coming Home Series) because it was book 10 in the series. The story segments seem to jump around too much for me but would likely have been hire if I’d been reading the entire series from the onset.

We have really been enjoying this series until this book. It seemed to drag on without making ANY progress. Very disappointing. It basically could have been summed up in 2 paragraphs. Hoping the next one is better.

Please RateNational Treasure (The Survivalist Book 10)
Mason-kind of a strait and narrow kind of guy.
Tanner-a rough and tumble opposite to his son Mason.
Samantha-12yo who keeps Tanner grounded and humble.
This series is FUN!
