Great book, great characters. Just really tired of reading books that I am trying to remember what happened before because it has been so long since I read the last one in the series. Why can't each book have an ending to a story? If the characters are good, people are going to read about them without being forced by cliff hangers and endless sequels. It's like reading a soap opera with the episodes months apart. In spite of my frustrations, I really like these books, and look forward to the next one. I have learned to do my research and not start a series until it is finished. I'm looking for older writers with completed books and series.

Overall an excellent book series by Morgan Rice which someday would make an excellent mini series.
Although a well thought out story, the publishers editor should be fired for all the mistakes that were made.

Love reading Sorcerer's Ring series. They were full of excitement, unfortunately I was unable to get all the books so I have been reading by missing some books. I am waiting for some of the books to go on special deal. However, I do not regret starting the series.
A Cry of Honor (Book #4 in the Sorcerer's Ring) :: A Fate of Dragons (Book #3 in the Sorcerer's Ring) :: A Charge of Valor (Book #6 in the Sorcerer's Ring) :: Princess (Of Crowns and Glory—Book 2) :: The Birth of American Independence - Revolutionary Summer

Although the books in this series are short, they are very good indeed, well develloped, a few twists and turns, consistent and interesting characters, and a base story that is slightly new if not altogether out of this world. Good guys (and girls) fighting a really bad guy.

I have enjoyed this series immensly. I am attached to the characters and have enjoyed seeing them grow and develop. I can't wait to see all of the mysteries unfold. My one frustration is that each novel ends at such a moment in the story that it is painful if the next novel in the series is not awaiting you for instant consumption. This is particulary true of Vow of Glory. In fact, I wouldn't suggest reading it until the next novel is available. The ending is downright traumatic!!!

Whoever does the typing to translate these books to Kindle needs to watch their spelling and grammar.Too many people using auto spell, instead of their brains. The book was good but getting drawn out and way too gory for my taste.

I love this story line, it's exciting, fast paced, and I can't wait for the next book.

I only gave it four stars, because there are a lot of errors in the book (hire a proof reader)
and each book in the series seems short compared to other fantasy books.

The overall story is pretty good, but, there is a lot of repeated phrases. The editing is terrible, mispelled and/or misused words making it a little difficult to read. Parts of the story the author was clearly struggling with two different ways to present something and mixed both ways got mixed into the books, again terrible editing.

The content of this book was great and captivating however the formatting was terrible and annoying. Every other page I would read, I would have to keep turning my Kindle from vertical to horizontal and vice versa in order to be able to read all the content on a given page and even then some content was missing all together. I really hope the rest of the books in this series don't have formatting issues like this one did because that was EXTREMELY annoying......

If you like fantasy escapism, and I do, the Sorcerer's Ring stories are captivating. It's always a disappointment to have to wait for the next book but there is no forgetting what happened last and who all the characters are.

Yes I enjoyed reading this series. Needed some correction on the grammar in places, but can get past that. I have now read all seven, and am hoping that when it is written eight will complete the series

These offerings are fast paced with moral values spiced through out the writings. While violent and graphic at times, it portrays human character in the best and worst of situations. Worth spending time with. Looking forward to additional books

The story is extremely well written. For some authors it is difficult to transition from one character to another. Morgan Rice has found just such a way. The story flows seamlessly. I read all of the books my kids are interested in and have recommended it to my niece and nephew also. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Pretty simple to dislike after a while. From a hairs breadth from being killed to a miraculous save in every fight. A blacksmith “putting down his anvil” to “stringing a bow with every shot” to twirling a “30 foot flail”. Not to mention a "pit" in your stomach! If you write about something, you should really have a bit of understanding of the subject.

I really love this series of books, from the start of this book I could not put it down, it was really easy to get right into the story and it kept me wanting to keep reading the next book. I'm currently on the 3rd book and its just keeps getting better every book I get into.

The reason there arent reviews for the other 4 is because i didnt keep them. Mr. Rice hopefully got a new editor. I can deal with a few typos, but when you misspell your heroes name or get them mixed up with other characters (as in book 1 or 2 , there was A LOT) I almost gave up on the series. Its a pet peeve and grates on my nerves. I almost kept the 1st one just so I could write a review and offer my services! It was obvious whoever edited those 1st few books did not actually read it. However, this one is much, MUCH better
