Love the way Morgan Rice writes. She keeps you engrossed in the story line so much that you forget the time. I love to read a night and have found myself reading until I can't focus any longer. Can't wait til the next book!

I read the first book and foolishly decided to buy the whole series. It was a mistake the writing style between the first book and the rest is so different it's almost like another Twitter did that first one. I suffered through the second book hoping that this one would redeem the series another mistake. The editing is terrible many mistakes also there is a lot of repetition with words and sometime paragraphs and even a lot of a names gets very confusing. And it's very obvious from the second book on that the author doesn't intend to kill any main characters so any action is boring with the fight scenes and styles all being repeated anyway I think Kyra her father Alec and merk all had fights where they ducked under a foes blade only to roll to the side and attack or reach under/ over to attack it was the same fight scene different characters they all received some life threatening wound and just knew they would die were they lay only to look up in surprise that someone saved them after this happened about five times in the second book soon as insaw it in this one I knew there would be no hope for the rest of the series is your purchasing these one at a time stop after the first one.

The book “A Forge of Valor” is the fourth book in the “Kings and Sorcerers” series. The easy and light writing style will hook you up from the very first page. In this book we continue to follow our heroine Kyra, a 15 year old girl, who loves to fight like a warrior. She abandons her training to go in the rescue of her father, against recommendation from her trainer. While badly hurt, she is saved by her mysterious boyfriend Kyle. Her father Duncan was betrayed and is in the Escalon capital's dungeons, waiting for his execution. Other parallel stories are told. Alec is going in a journey with a mysterious man to figure out what is his role in this story and his friend Mark is helping Dierdre and the resistence at Ur, against the Pandesian invasion. Vesuvius leads his army of trolls against Escalon, going towards the Tower of Ur, to capture the Sword of Flames. Merk defends the Tower of Ur against the attacks of the trolls, and at the end, when there is no hope, he is rescued by Kyle. Packed with excitement, I recommend this book to the permanent library of all readers that love to read a well written book, which will allow them to live a fantasy full of action. I can hardly wait to see how the story will develop from here. The author managed again to produce a strong set of characters that make us cheer for them on every page we turn. I received a copy of this book from the author and I was not requested to write a positive review. Opinion expressed here is my own.

Another fast-paced sword and sorcery fantasy read, which I was lucky enough to be given. Thank you!

It's filled with action, magic, mystery (although, Krya's origins are revealed), bravery, honour, treachery...and more. Other characters, too, find their purpose...very well done.

Mythical creatures abound and dragons finally emerge.

An enjoyable adventure.

Highly recommended.

Kyra survives and is learning how to use her powers. She only does what she wants, thinking she is invincible. It is amazing she keeps surviving. Marco finds his way to the lost islands. Deirdre keeps trying to save her town. This book is non stop action. I would have given the book 5 stars if it was't for Kyra being so annoying. She went from being my favorite character to my least favorite character in this series.

Again a good read – Wish I could give separate ratings for the story & editing. The editing was again very poor with characters referred by incorrect name as well as grammatical errors. Seems to be more of these type of errors as the story continues.

And the story continues - What is great is there are multiple story lines playing out at the same time. As I have read many books now from Morgan, her writing skills to keep you wanting more are getting better with each book she writes. I am loving this series as a good, quick fun read.

I've really enjoyed this series so far, this book revealed more about Thor's past...a past I wish Thor was able to uncover more in this book. But there's so much going on in terms of plot that I understand that this probably won't be released until later. Anyway great books! I've loved each additional book so far.

Morgan Rice never disappoints. Another great book in this series with a young girl heroine and her dragon. You can't help but cheer for her and the other brave characters as they all fight for the same cause of freedom of their land and people. A great story.
