This book really takes off fast compared the previous lesson book. It is more challenging. Be sure your child/you are very comfortable with note identification and are ready to learn at a faster pace. Nearly every song teaches new skills.

I have been teaching piano lessons for over twenty years now and the Faber and Faber method has been my favorite since college. I love how thorough the Faber's are, covering everything from technique to ear training, sight reading, theory, and artistry. My students are never disappointed by the song selection and the duets are the best I've heard from any method series.

Highly, highly recommended.

Great piano instruction book. It was recommended by my son's piano teacher. The book is efficient and well organized. I recommend it to learn piano, especially when working with a qualified instructor.

I am very pleased with my order of " Piano Adventures Lesson Book ". The book arrived quickly and in excellent condition.I am also pleased with the book itself-reminding me of my piano lesson books back when I was a piano student. Thank you very much for everything. Eugenia Toth

I love Faber books, but make sure you verify this item is NEW! I just bought this for one of my students and I was shocked after paying FULL PRICE, that the item was 99% filled in! What a disappointment, and WHY on EARTH would someone sell a workbook that was already filled in for FULL PRICE. I know for next time to be careful if it isn't a prime item. I love Faber books, so the book itself gets 5 stars.

Very good method for teaching young students the basic fundamentals of piano. New notes and concepts are introduced slowly without overwhelming the student. The theory is slightly lacking, but the theory book makes up for that lack. The pieces are just the correct length, long enough to keep interest but not so long as to be discouraging to new students.

Came in awesome condition and shipping was as expected (2 days).

I give piano lessons from home and wanted to try put this book for one of my beginner students, As far as the material itself it's "okay" the songs are not as fun to play and the book moves quite fast. Book is best for an older beginner with a bit more piano experience. Still would prefer Alfred's piano books.
