Entertaining read. It was more subtle than other JM's books. There was a significant lack of "bedroom scenes" as compared to her other novels. However, I did enjoy the Foster family anecdotes, especially the one about the camping trip. This story, in my opinion centered around the strong family ties among the Bretton-Foster and not so much around Diana and Cole's love story. But I must admit that unlike other readers who complained about too much business talk, I truly enjoyed those scenes. They somehow reminded me of the relationship between our beloved Matt and Meredith from Paradise...

I have loved Judith McNaught ever since I read Whitney, My Love. She is my favorite author because she lets you see the feelings develop and deepen between her characters. None of that was evident in this novel. As a love story, it is forced and abrupt. We have no understanding of why and how they fell in love. The only saving grace of this book are the other characters that carry the book through. It does not read like one of McNaught's works at all. I wasted money buying this one.

I enjoyed reading Judith McNaught's "Paradise" and "Perfect", so I thought I would give this one a try. The first half of the book kept me interested, but there was way too much explaining on both sides and I got bored of the novel pretty soon. I know Diana was supposed to have fallen in love with Cole when she was a teen, but I couldn't see how that was possible, either. Maybe there wasn't enough dialogue or scenes involving the two, but I didn't feel as if they had any real connection. The story was dragged on for too long, and I found myself wondering when the story would be over. Anyway, the first part of the novel kept me interested enough to give out three stars.
Once and Always (The Sequels series) :: Always Running: La Vida Loca: Gang Days in L.A. :: and Running the Old Country Store Pretty Much Led to One Calamity After Another :: More than 300 Incredible Recipes Low in Sugar - and Calories :: Every Breath You Take: A Novel

write romances of quality? This definitely was a major disappointment for me! I used to read romances till I got tired of all the same plots with their oh-so predictable endings. I decided to give romance another try when "Remember When" came into the market. Needless to say, it will be a long long time till I pick-up another romance novel. This book was such a big disappointment!

I loved this book!! I liked both the main characters and thought they acted like normal people (unlike some characters in JM books). I think I liked this book so much because the couple were honest and they didn't have the typical misunderstanding that some of JM's other main characters have. I have reread this book multiple times - read it!!

Remember When was an extremely disappointing read. I have been a die hard Mcnaught fan ever since reading Something Wonderful and Perfect. This author is one of the most incredibly talented romance novelists ever but Remember When was not up to standard. The plot was slow moving and the characters annoying. It was impossible to care about the romance because Diana and Cole fell in love without any explanation at all. Similar to other reviewers, I also felt the description of Diana's family and the running of Foster's Home Living got boring to the point of being tedious. I would not give such a harsh review if I had not already experienced the spectacular quality of Mcnaught's earlier writings. I am just waiting for Judith Mcnaught to write another mesmerizing tear-jerker that I know she is capable of. First time readers should definitely check out Something Wonderful, Almost Heaven, and Perfect!!!

This is my second Judith McNaught novel. This is a very good book I really like the way the book explores family relationship between Diana and Corey and Cole. Then traces the characters as adults. I was pleasantly surprised it had me moved to tears. I highly recommend to anyone. Cole coming to Diana rescue was priceless.

I generally only buy books in their paperback version, so I waited a really long time to read this one, since it took forever to switch over from hardback to paperback. I was really let down when I finished. This book definitely did not have the Judith McNaught charm of her other novels. There was too much individual focus, not enough relationship development. The story did not capture my imagination and my heart the way Ms. McNaught's other novels have. I'm not a huge fan of Tender Triumph or Double Standards, but I think that even they were better than this one! I'm not giving up on Ms. McNaught forever, I just hope her next venture is more in line with the wonderful work we know that she can do!

I have only been reading Judith McNaught books for a short time... although in that time I have read almost all of them. They are like yummy candy for the heart. I don't know what happened with this one, but Remember When was aweful. I thought I was reading another author. Boring beyond measure. I forced myself to finish it but it wasn't worth the time. If you really must see for yourself, get it from the library... you'll be glad you did. If this was my first McNaught novel it would have been a real shame because I wouldn't have read anything else. As it stands, this book is the exception. Everything else I have read by her has been amazing.

I love Judith's historical romances such as Whitney My Love and Once & Always, so I thought I'll give her modern setting romances a try. Boy! So disappointed!

The story was super boring, with characters that were flat and forgettable. The writing and dialogues made me nearly fell asleep. It just went on and on talking about the characters' businesses blah blah blah. Hey, this is suppose to be a romance, not some 100 ways to run business or get rich self help book! Talking about romance, there was hardly any sparks between the characters. Theirs was just so simple, so convenient, so smooth, so dull.

The only reason I forced myself to finish this book was because I've paid for the rental of this book from a book rental shop, and wanted to get the full worth. This book has really diminished my interest in her other modern romances.

although not JM's readers' favourite title.. this book proved itself to be a tale.. that is still worthy of the JM name.. a book that tops the genre..and a worthwhile read... maybe not as good as JM's other works...but this book is one of the better books you will find in the romance section!

This novel was okay but it could have been better, because what it was missing was one excitement, there wasn't any time in the book that I read that they fought. I makes that novels better when something happens this novel is for peepz who are in for those love-bee bud-be stuff.

Whitney, My Love is my all time favorite romance book. This book is nothing like that. It was like reading a totally different author. It was extremely slow and tedious. About 75% of the book was meaningless conversation between family members * yawn*. She dragged descriptions on and on of surroundings. I would skim through paragraph after paragraph ( a couple pages sometimes) and not miss anything important.

The hero, Cole, was masculine, charming and a rich alpha male. Loved his charactor. Diana was perfect: too perfect. She was poised and controlled. She didn't loose her cool, never yelled. It was like she was an angel from heaven: Beautiful and feminine. She was so perfect she was boring. No fighting or conflicts between Diana and Cole leads to... nothing exciting.

The conflict in this book was between Cole and the SEC, Congress... Political Lawyer stuff. I felt like I was reading a Tom Clancy with all the legal and corporabe business talk. The romance definately took a back seat to that part of the story-line.

The small amount of romance that was in the book was a good concept, but it was not nearly as interesting and well written as Whitney, My Love. Not even close. It took until about page 163 before Cole and Diana even meet up again. The first half of the book could have been written in a chapter or two, but she dragged it out until I almost just gave up reading.

I do not recommend this book if you like exciting, fast paced romances.

This is the first novel by Judith McNaught that I've ever read and I highly enjoyed it very much. In fact I still reread it whenever I can. This led me to read other Judith McNaught's book such as Paradise which I recommend greatly. I loved Cole and Diana.

This from the woman who brought us "Perfect" and "Until You"? Ugh. The plot makes no sense. And what was that "Rosemary's Baby" scene? Cole, if he were a sensible man, would have dropped Diana like a hot coal.

First time readers: Her other books are MUCH better. This books is only for hard-core JMN fans -- and not even them, actually. It's such a disappointment! I kept checking if it was written by Ms McNaught, it was THAT bad.

I love McNaught's novels and had a high expectation in Remember When. I have to agree with many other readers. I was a little disappointed after I finished the book because I felt it was missing something. It could have been better, and been able to go into more deep in characters, especially the main characters Cole and Diana. There is not much explanation why Cole fell in love with Diana. But still I like Cole as a man whom you can wish to be by his side.

Judith McNaught, an excellent romance writer, has kept us on tenterhooks, waiting for the next novel to come out. Only the wait turns out to be for nothing. Remember When is mediocre compared to that of her other novels. The book pays to much detail to the relationship between younger Diana and Cole which takes up half the novel. This is unnessary since their budding friendship could be summed up in two chapters. The end left me lacking and unsatisfied. This book is not one of her better ones...

Rather like a bland puzzle with a few pieces missing. This story seemed to drone on and on without really saying anything. Certainly not up to Judith McNaught's usual standards, more on the line of a generic harlequin-type romance.

How could someone only give this wonderful story only one star. It is extremely well written and one falls in love with the characters (Cole and the entire Foster family) almost immediately upon meeting them. Remember When is a wonderful story of love between two very intriguing and entertaining characters. My only request is that Judith write a longer story about Spencer and Corey and include (of course) Dianna and Cole.

This was not a terrible reading, but because I had high hopes for McNaught's books, it was disapointing. If you her other books (Paradise, Once and Always for example), you'll see what I mean. I didn't get me hooked as her previous books did.

Since reading "Until You", I have been waiting to be as entranced and excited.
I was thrilled to finally pick up her new book. I thought the
book took a long time to get to the point and then didn't have
enough time to make it. Judith McNaught is known for her great
romance writing and didn't use this talent to it's full potential
this time around.

Terrific romantic read. I've read all the books by this author, and this was the only one I have missed until now , so this was an extra pleasure. You will love the story, the characters and the sexual tension.

I have loved almost all of Judith McNaught's novels, but not this one. I couldn't figure out what it was that brought these two people together. It was still a good read, but it doesn't compare to Paradise.
