Story holds your interest as you wonder what Nick will do with Hallie and Gabby when he becomes their legal guardian. At the same time one wonders if Anna will risk marrying another soldier after losing her husband while serving his country.

I enjoyed this story because the family was all included. Each person helped make this a good story. It included many different emotions; joy, sadness, humor, grit, curiosity, tenderness, and compassion. I loved that God played a large part of the story.

Great story of fear & how it can hinder everything in your life. Grieving for family lost brings 3 families together. Romance between Nick & Anna was like lightening. With sparks flying. He was career military & she was determined she would NOT fall for another service man like her husband who had died a hero. He had decided he would never marry because of his childhood & his military dad. God has some great things in store as they find this new life & love.

I liked that Anna thought she could control her life, but it cost her relationship with several friends and even her family. Even though Nick has commitments, he lets love rule his heart with Hailey and Gabby.

Anna's life is controlled by fear and anxiety, causing her to miss out on many of the joys of life. Her fear makes her hesitant to take chances. I can relate to that. When tragedy strikes her next door neighbors, it fuels Anna's anxiety but it also causes her to renew an acquaintance with Nick, uncle to the two young girls left parentless. Can Anna overcome her many fears and open herself up to a life of love?

Really liked this story, because the people in it seemed so real. We all have problems, but all things usually work out in the in if we trust God and the abilities He has given us. Good Christian reading.
