This is a great book! I absolutely loved the first one and this one was just as great if not better! Shanti and Cayan are a force to be reckoned with. I've been waiting for this one since I finished the first one earlier last year and once I got it I couldn't put it down! Lots of action with hints of romance and just as funny. I truly enjoyed this book and can't wait for the third book! The journey continues! I'm excited to see what the shadowlands will be like!

The author allows each of the characters to contribute to the story by giving them each strengths and weakness. The sexual tension contributes, but not controls the story line. The story's time line seems a little jumbled.

I really enjoyed both books, they are well thought out and I continually had the feeling of reading ahead of myself in excitement in some of the action scenes. Thought the romance should have progressed more in the second book and didn't think it was quite believable that the Chosen would have been considering other partners for a night when she had such a connection with one heck of a hero right there in front of her. I liked the humour of some of the characters and with the horse. I wait in anticipation for the third book.

Hunted is the second book in The Warrior Chronicles. This book left me with a mix of opinions. It picks up in storyline where the first leaves off and adds in old characters. New characters are added, as well, that become vital to the story. But...I was left feeling that nothing really happened. You are moved along a little further but, at the end, I was disappointed. Having said that, I am eagerly waiting the next book.

The first book was funnier. This one was more on developing the characters. The third book was amazing full of fights and drama. I have not read the forth book yet. So far I have loved this entire series.

I seriously struggled with this book and finally put it down. Honestly, I am an intelligent person with an education. But I literally couldn't figure out this story. I am totally unsure where it was going, or the true motivation of the main characters. There's a hollowness there. The writing is good, but it's like chewing on a reed that the center has already been pulled from--still a reed, sorta tasty, but not what was expected. I purchased all three books in this series but couldn't finish the first one. Found myself skipping ahead and looking for something...I hate giving critical reviews, but I simply could not finish this. The funny thing is that this author wrote the Darkness books--this story is pretty much the polar opposite. There's complexity, and it starts off really great. Then, I just lost track. I don't get it.

There are times when I doubt my ability to review especially after I read other reviews. I loved the Darkness series but found this one too confusing and repetitive and too similar in ways to Darkness to really get into. It seemed to move from scene to scene but at the end I had no idea what had actually happened. The Chosen is never really clarified so the character doesn't actually stand out but seems to be mentioned a lot and she seems to be involved in a lot. There is action and yet the reader is left with a sense that nothing has really happened.
I admit I could be very wrong and my liking for this author is still evident in my hesitancy to say more but truthfully I don't think I can continue with the series.

K.F. Greene continues with the second book of the Warrior Chronicles series in her usual vividly descriptive action, sharp and often laugh-out-loud dialogue and seat-of-the-pants-what-is-going-to-happen-next adventure. After rescuing her brother and a stranger from the Graygual, they are pursued without cease by the best Hunter of the Graygual. They flee from east to west barely escaping the Hunter's traps. And what is up with Cayan? Enough said without too many possible spoilers being revealed. Buy it. Read it. An afternoon of suspense and racing heart awaits.
BTW - these are not really stand alone books. No ridiculous cliff-hangers, but there are obvious lead-ins to the next in the series.
