A wonderful book for your first grader to practice read with. My son and I enjoyed read the book together, he really enjoyed the pictures. The book was just about the perfect length for a seven year old.

This book is not an easy reader! My granddaughter, who's going into first grade, does fine with the beginning Bob books. I would not recommend this book for that grade level. And nowhere does it say that it's a Christian book, I resent the ending. I bought this on my kindle and so am stuck with it but I am dumping it immediately. Shame on you, the store!!

My first grader could reas this no problem. It was sweet story until we got to "thanking god for creating me" and psalms at the end. As an atheist family we teach our kids that we created them and would have appreciated knowing that this was creationist story. Text and pictures dont match and font cant be enlarged.

Cute til the ending. then the author throws in a couple of lines about God. Fine for the believers, but annoying for the rest of us. The rest of us (non-believers) don't want to have to explain "god" to our kids or grandkids.

It started out as a cute little rhyming book with easy words for my child. Then, it starts talking a good bit about God and praying and other religious activities. It was unexpected and really not what I'm looking for in a children's book.

We have the hardcover version. This is such a cute story that parents will actually enjoy reading to their kids. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful, and the scenarios are really clever. The story is a warm, loving tale which has a wonderful message to share with your little one. The text is also sprinkled with endearing humor. I got this book for my nephew and cannot wait to share it with him.

Amy Imbody captures the imagination and creativity of a great mother tucking her cherished child into bed. It is simply fun to read with my little ones tucked under arm. The book ends on a heavenly note desired by every parent at bedtime. Wonderful!
