Although the story is totally fictional, it has the ring of being plausible. It is both exciting and original. I suppose it is easy for me to picture the locations where the story takes place, because I have been to some of them or have been told about them by colleagues.

While I realize Cussler only lended his name to this one, Grant Blackwood is becoming his replacement. Sorry to say that Clive has chosen to attach his "name" to several mass produced novels for the sake of the $$ but Grant does an excellent job of pulling this one out. Not bad. It certainmly isn't Clive at his best, but with time, he may have found his replacement. Sorry, but Dirk doesn't have his Dad's flair. Hey Clive, you can't take the money with you :-)

For any good action book you want the adventure and a tad of mystery. This books offers this in great quantity, but also allows you to enjoy the relationships between the husband and wife (Fargos) as well as their support staff. But the authors don't leave it there, they spend time with the relationships of their adversaries. Listen and enjoy!
