I've been a Clive Cussler reader since "Raise the Titanic," and enjoyed them all. This one, although not one of the Dirk Pitt novels, grips you just as quickly and sustains your interest through at least 60% of it (as far as I've read). It has fast-paced action in many exotic locales, with mysterious and evil characters and great pseudo-history throughout. Strongly recommended.

The plot was very good but not too suspenseful. You always knew that the hero's were not to be foiled. It did not seem to take enough time to develop the scenarios- there it was, there it was solved - not enough time for suspense.

A thoroughly enjoyable page-turner! I am a huge fan of this genre, and Clive Cussler spins a great yarn. His work is well researched, or so it would seem, and the story kept me entertained from the first page to the last!
