The characters were believably real and fully fleshed out. The story line matched the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, as I have the other Cusslers, and do recommend Blue Gold for entertainment and learning more about our planet. I do think Joe should get more "star time".

This was a good story that read fairly quickly. Predictable at times but enough of a plot to hold your interest. I have read some of the earlier NUMA novels and I would rate this one middle of the pack.

Anyone who has read and enjoyed any of the Cussler books will not be disappointed with this outing. It has a very interesting premise concerning what could happen should someone gain control of the world's water supply. I found it thought provoking and quite riveting.
Golden Buddha (The Oregon Files) :: Dark Watch (The Oregon Files) :: Corsair: Oregon Files #6 (The Oregon Files) :: Night Probe! (Dirk Pitt Adventure Series) :: Serpent: A Novel from the NUMA Files

This book is another triumph for Mr. Cussler, it has all the elements that have made his books best sellers. It has historical background mixed with actual issues that affects all of humankind imbedded in an adventure story that is all action since the beginning. Beautiful women, a memorable villain

I have been reading Clive Cussler for over 20 years. And I am seldom disappointed in his novels even when written with another author. It is great escapism...pure and simple.
This series is becoming one of my favorites. The Oregon Files and the Dirk Pitt Series are still my preferred choices.

Typical Cussler but a fun to read book. The story keeps you reading even when it is time to put it down and go to bed. Too bad the science behind it is still lacking even 13 years after the book was written.

It is a good typical Clive Cussler book. It keeps your interest and keeps you on the seat of your chair waiting for the next shoe to drop. Cussler always finds a way of pulling you into the story and making you a part of it!
