This third book in the series Dragon Ore (The Dawning of Power) is even better than the first book! There is a lot of adventure, a lot of action, dragons, danger, powers, fighting against the evil and trying to save all mankind. The journey is a long one... from Greatland to Firstland... escaping from enemies and making friends... the Herald's powers grow. She spent time learning to use her powers... now she is coming into full bloom as The Herald... making wiser choices.

The Herald ends up back where she started, in her homeland... working toward a future that will save her people from future disasters.

A very satisfying book and a great trilogy. I would say these books are more for young adults... but as a much older person who has been addicted to science fiction since my youngest reading years... I will say I enjoyed this trilogy very much.

If you wish... there is an offer of all three books in one on the Kindle store... The Dawning of Power (The World of Godsland)

Either way... buying one at a time... or the combined trilogy... it's a great read. :)

I love this series! I'd grown disinterested in the Fantasy genre due to blah stories. This entire series has been a breath of fresh air for me. And this book was the factor in my purchasing the next 3 books as a set.

I really enjoyed this series. The author does a great job of making you question "How are they going to get out of this?" several times. The characters and scenery was vividly described as well as the story itself which is very important to me because once I start reading a movie begins in my head. I also very much enjoyed seeing a strong female main character. I look forward to any new writings from this author.

I enjoyed it but wished it could have been longer. Over all a good read. The price's for indi books meets my expectations on what all books should cost.
My reviews are a little generic as I'm catching up on books I've read but not rated. That I've bothered is enough to say that I enjoyed the book enough take the time to do this.

I truly enjoyed this trilogy and found it very entertaining. Just finished it and can not wait to see where this story goes next. Hope the author is not finished here cause the trilogy ended with plenty of room to continue the story!!!

This book is Dark, Depressing, and Unfinished. After reading the others leading up to it I was looking forward to the characters being further developed and seeing how the series ended. By the time I finished it, I couldnt wait to end my misery. Yet, the book simply ended with no reason in the midst of ever increasing turmoil. There was no resolution. It seemed as if the author simply quit.

Lots of action in this culmination to the trilogy. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters. There are strong relationships and friendships throughout. I've always been a big fan of character driven stories. I like to get to know the individuals and love/hate them. Catrin and her friends are definitely likable.

The villain doesn't quite become the archenemy that I expected. There's not enough of his motivation and personality that comes through. He seems more of a politician gone power hungry who never delivers on implied evildoer promise in the end. The other enemies throughout present frequent challenges, with the greatest enemy being nature and power I believe. The peril to Catrin and friends delivers constant suspense, which makes it difficult to put the book down.

Some of the events that happen around Catrin's home while she's gone are a bit confusing and it takes a bit of concentration to keep up with the myriad of details. The world created is filled with sweeping vistas and exotic lands that are exciting for the reader to visit.

The ending comes to a satisfying conclusion for this story, but is left open for the next series and a future that promises great adventure.

Overall, this is an excellent fantasy series. The characters and plot are original. I definitely recommend giving it a read.
