Best cocktail book ever. Not only funny with the literary twists, the recipes are actually good. Sections for Guys, girly girls, mock-tails and appetizers. Anyone who like classic literature and drinks would love this book.

Bought for my boyfriend with a bar shaker set and he really likes this book. Its funny and clever and has really awesome original art work in it. Even if you dont make most of the cocktails in it, its fun to have and read.

Cocktails are serious business in our house (and, oh wait, so is literature). This is a witty book with great ideas for mini-parties (both small and large) around literary themes, with a surprisingly nice offering of a few non-alcoholic cocktails as well. It's a good, fun read, even if you don't actually make any of the cocktails (we haven't, yet, so I can't vouch for the recipes) but we do know what we like, and the recipes in this book have many of the elements that, for us, elevate the cocktail into something worth the trouble of more than alcohol + mixer. Stylish and fun, what more can you ask from a mixology book?
