Solid character development and a well paced plot move the story along. A bit ghoulish w a sci-fi twist were unnecessary elements in my view but in a world that at times seems on the verge of anarchy it is a plausible story. Read it in one sitting so that says a lot.

Loved this book. It kept my interest from beginning to end. Some books are so hard to put down, and this was one of them. I can't wait to read more from the author. In fact, her next book in this series is coming soon so I'm going to go back and read I Hope You Find Me again so I can refresh my memory about the characters, and because I just plain want to read it one more time!

I thought this book was great. I just kept turning the pages to see what would happen next. The main characters are very real and relatable. I really felt like this is how it might be in this situation.

I loved this book, the characters and the story. It was believable and touching and sad all at the same time. I have already passed this book on to friends and I hope they will enjoy it too. I then read the 2nd book in the series and it really stuck with me as well.

Great story. The main female character was a little too loose for my taste kissing so many men but she was still a solid character with a great story fully intend to purchase and continue following the story to get more info on the teenager kris

Riley watched her two children die from the Red Plague. Now she has to find a safe place to live. As she prepares to leave San Diego, she leaves notes to help her friends and family find her.

She first finds Connor, a handsome man with a secret past.

She also finds that her notes lead dangerous people to find her as well.

There are very few people left alive. There are also some apparently dead people who seem to be alive. Can Riley, Connor, and their friends find a safe place to restart their lives?

In this novel, the author begins an interesting series. We are introduced to the main characters, and to some interesting mysteries. Even though this novel has more romance than my usual reading fare, I enjoyed it. The plot was pretty believable, and the characters seemed realistic. And the hints at the ghost/zombies piqued my interest.

Over all it was an enjoyable visit to a dystopian world. I liked it.

I was captivated by the first page. The story premise is very interesting and most of the narrator's experiences are believable. Her descriptive writing is excellent. I just found myself annoyed with a main character that is so beautiful that every man she meets desires her. And her eye seems to wander quite easily from man to man. I think the character could have been someone more realistic and I would have totally loved the book then. And part of the story line just gets.dropped, presumably saved for the next book? I also couldn't believe that she never asked questions - she just trips around oblivious to anyone's reality but her own.

If you are a connoisseur of apocalypse novels, then you definitely want to add this one to your reading list. Trisha Dawson creates believable characters and scenarios that have you asking not, what if, but, when?
