The Night Before St. Patrick's Day

I purchased this book to go along with the leprechaun traps I was planning on making with my 6 year old. This book worked exactly as I had hoped it would, before the story was even over he asked if we could make our own traps. Very well written, super cute (it even got a couple of chuckles out of my husband) Definitely going to become a tradition of ours

This book is written in the cadence of "The Night Before Christmas" so children will be familiar with the poetic aspect of the story. The book covers St. Patrick's Day, so the story itself is new. A good holiday read for younger children.

I just love these books. I have this one, Valentine's Day, Christmas, Preschool, Easter - super cute. Fun to get them out before the upcoming holiday & build a little excitement. And they rhyme really cute!!

I bought this book for my 2 year old granddaughter who loved it. Her mother is still having to read it every night weeks after St. Pat's Day. I intend to buy all of Matasja Wing's "Night Before. . ." books. Wish she would write one for the night before the 4th of July.

I have used several books throughout the year with the Night Before..... title. A Thanksgiving one, Christmas, Texas Christmas, and now this one. We could compare this one to the others, find the rhymes, look at traditions, etc. Not really a great book to show what St. Patrick's Day is really about, but a cute companion piece to others that do provide the facts and history.

This book is precious. Author has a whole series of other holiday inspired books. I'm 24 planning on starting a family soon so I'm slowly socking up on kids items. Can't wait to read this to my little ones! Shipping was fast as well. :)
