The Pout-Pout Fish in the Big-Big Dark (A Pout-Pout Fish Adventure)

I use this book in the second grade music classes I teach. I created a song out of the repetitive sections of the story, and they sing it and accompany themselves on the Orff instruments. I use this along with the original Pout-Pout Fish book to reinforce the concept of major and minor keys.

Book is great! I ordered two of theses. One for my son and one for a friend. Both copies were pretty beat up. The edges of board cover was peeling and the binding didn't look like it would last long. I have bought several books in this series and the rest have been great. Maybe I just got a bad batch.

Fans of The Pout-Pout Fish will enjoy this sequeal where Pout-Pout has to muster up his courage to face perceived fears and learns about bravery, friendship and loyalty along the way. This beautiful book and its prequel are beautifully illustrated and one of the favorite bedtime books for me (Nana) and my young grandkids.
