Anson, a Dragon King, accompanies two mortal women to London on their assignment to watch the tech company, Kyvor. They meet a promising young employee, Devon, and have to convince her that she's in danger. Devon soon learns that she can only depend on Ester and Kinsey and Anson for her safety and her life.

This was my first Dark Kings story and it was rather complicated with the talk of dragons, fae, druids, and warriors. The action also shifted between London, Scotland, and Ireland and some of it was rather confusing. I felt that the author gave enough background to fill me in on the histories of the different couples but I can tell that there is much more to tell for future stories.

Thanks to the publisher and to NetGalley for an ARC; all opinions are my own.

Blaze (Dark Kings #11) by Donna Grant. The ever-evolving Dark World continues with more stunning Dragon Magic. The Dark Kings are in a critical situation of epic proportion, working to retrieve vital information from the tech company Kyvor. Dreagan needs someone on the inside at Kyvor and Devon is the perfect candidate. Conscious of the danger present to her and her career, she agrees to help Dreagan after viewing compelling evidence against her employer. Blaze takes place in London along the same timeline as Firestorm (book #10). With two independently strong characters, the reader adequately feels the magnetic push-pull between career oriented Devon and Anson a powerful Dragon King male who only wanted a dragon for a mate. Entertaining and intense, the battle forges on with all the fundamental elements of a fantastic storyline. A five star addition to the series. If you enjoy any of the Dragon King Series, this is one to pick up. I also recommend the LaRue Series by this author.

Anson is a Dragon King. Unlike many of the others, he’s never trusted humans and he doesn’t see any value in them. When he is sent to protect two dragon mates while surveying a tech company that has been after the Dragon Kings, he can’t help his attraction to Devon, the human they think might help them get access to what they need. When Devon gets mysteriously contacted, her curiosity is peaked. As she starts to dig through the rabbit hole, she finds that nothing it what it seems at the company she has worked so hard for.
This is probably one of my favorites of this series so far. I really enjoyed it. It was a bit Matrixy, which worked. Devon is definitely one of my favorite females written by this author. She also did a great job in revealing even more in the series storylines. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I highly recommend.

The Dark Kings return with Blaze, the story of Anson and Devon. Anson will do anything to protect all that the Kings hold dear. Anson, Kinsey and Esther plan on infiltrating Kyvor. But to do so means enlisting the help of an unsuspecting human female. Strong, resilient and a rising star at Kyvor, Devon Abrams must put all that she holds dear on the line. After all she just so happens to be the type of help Anson needs. But what happens when everything you believed is shattered in the blink of an eye?

There is plenty of twists to keep the story moving nicely. Not quite an insta love story, as there are moments of ‘is this really happening’ but definitely instant sparks. Anson and Devon’s story seems to unfold more secrets. I look forward to revealing more about Rhi and her King, as well as Ulrik’s plans. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of Blaze provided by Netgalley.

I was extended the opportunity to review this ARC by the publisher, and I have to say that it is a fantastic story!!!! I am new to the series, but it is written to the point that you can easily follow along, even when you start with the eleventh book in a series! There wasn't anything I didn't like about it, it was easy to get into, action packed, covered all of my favorite genres, and very entertaining. There was smoldering romance through the whole story between various people, and while it could be explosive at times, it was never gross or graphic, which is appreciated! The storyline flowed well, without any major holes, spelling and grammar were spot on, and it was atmospheric and engrossing. Very well done, and have already made holes in my TBR pile for the previous ten! Thank you so very, very much for the opportunity to review this book!

I always love returning to the Dragon Kings world; throw in the warriors and druids, Rhi and Balladyn, and you have a great story. More hints are being dropped as to the true nature of Ulric and Rhi's Dragon King. He talked!! To Rhi when she was eavesdropping in on the mating ceremony at the end. So excited that he might be making more of an appearance. I am worried about Balladyn though; he really does love her, so I am not sure how DG will handle that triangle when it comes to a head. Anson and Devon were a cute couple and I enjoyed their adventure and love story. There were no gaps in the plot, no dry spells while reading, it flowed well from beginning to end, and kept me interested the whole time. But that is what I expect from a DG novel, they are never dull or unsatisfying. Love the world she has created.

I liked Anson and Devon's slow-paced courtship. It allowed both characters to come to terms about a multitude of issues between them and didn't feel like an insta-lust relationship. Now I realize this book was about their romance along with plot progression regarding Ulrik-and it was a good story-but I'm really interested in Rhi and Con! Talk about two people who should totally be together...

The Dark King series is becoming a new distraction for me! The world building is nicely done, but the characters! I love the variety of characters-Dark Fae, Druids, Dragon Kings, humans, Warriors, Light Fae-and how they all bring something interesting to the storyline! Blaze started out slow but ended on a high note for me. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in this saga!

Blaze is book number 11 in the Dark Kings (Dragon Kings) series. Well I sadly must admit, even though I'm a huge Donna Grant fan, I've felt a few of these books have been drawn out and not a lot happened. However, Blaze had me on the edge of my seat and excited to read it! I could not wait to find out what happened next with Anson and Devon. Their story was sexy, intimate and left readers with more questions and maybe just a few answers....
I was very excited to see more from the warriors and druids in Blaze. I also liked some of the glimpses of Con that had me smiling and wanting to know more. Rhi's part in Blaze had me very interested and I can't wait to see how the rest of her story unfolds. Thank you Ms Grant for your amazing writing and sharing your dragons with us!

I enjoyed Anson and Devon's story. A lot. Anson was everything a dragon king should be - fierce, protective, sexy, strong, alpha, loyal, smart, fearless. Devon is a lucky girl.

Overall, a really good read. Why 4 stars, not 5? Well I'm a big Dark Kings' fan but ...and maybe it's me, this book felt like a serial instead of a full story. There was so much going on in this book to advance the overarching story of Con and Rhi (is if HIM? Is he her KING?), the other Kings, the Reapers, and dealing with the bad guys - corporate bad guys, spies, internal bad guys, Ulrik, his lookalike, etc - that Anson and Devon's story was a bit rushed.

While I love this world, I'm not sure I can take not knowing much longer what is going to happen for Rhi and for Con. I have to know.

Another great read from Donna Grant that will have you gripped from the first page.

This is the eleventh book in the Dark Kings series and a continuation from book ten

Anson is a dragon shapeshifter, known as a Dragon King,
Devon Abrams is a human working for the tech firm which hacks into Anson's world which is in league with the Fae and he needs her trust and help to battle them from within and stop them.

Can he protect Devon from the Fae, and win the battle and protect his own.

You won't want to put this down

I received an advanced readers copy from Netgalley and I voluntarily leave my own honest opinion

Intense battles, fierce romance, protective spirits... Donna Grant is the master of the little details. Anson is all that a dragon should be: gruff, but tender; possessive but free and smoking hot. Devon is an IT specialist who is very successful in her field and that leads to a lack in her love life. When these two meet up to protect the world, sparks are not only kindled but burst into flame. The chemistry between these two will have you reaching for a fan. This is book 11 in this series but dont let that stop you from picking it up. While I always recommend you starting from the beginning, this book can be read alone.

I received an advanced readers copy in exchange for a fair review. I live Donna Grant books and Blaze is another great example of why she is a best seller. Anson is.fierceand protective of those he calls family. Devon has nothing in her life but her job but when a sexy man with midnight eyes shows her the evils of the company she works for she is forced to reconsider all she knows. she is swept up in danger, passion and omg Dragons! How much is a girl supposed to take? Fun story. only negative is the cliff hangers at the end of every book with more questions and no answers.

Love doesn't come easily to these Dragon Kings!

Devon has clawed her way to the top at Kyvor. She has sidelined any kind of personal life as she wants to ensure she makes it to the top.

When Anson she finds bumps into her, she recognises him as just the kind Alpha male she needs, one that won't buckle at the fact that she is a successful woman under her own merit. But when he reveals who he is and just what is happening behind closed doors at Kyvor, she joins the fight against the druids.

Fabulous mix of action, adventure and romance!

Donna Grant has done it again... BLAZE ... Anson and Devon's story grabbed me from the beginning and never let me go. I always enjoy revisiting the other Kings and their mates and seeing what Rhi, Ulrik and Con are up to. Donna always gives you your HEA (for now) but leaves unanswered questions. Who is Rhi's King? When will Con get his mate?. Will Ulrik mend his ways? Who is this new Druid? Also are Ester and Nikolai the next story? All I know is I can't wait......

Magic, scandal, and dragons, oh my! If you shamelessly hoard every sexy magical love story you can find, Blaze is another to add to your pile. Set in 21st century London and the mysterious Draegon to the north, Blaze connects with each of its readers and allows them to explore their own unknowns. Alternating paradigms from chapter to chapter keeps the reader on his/her toes and on the edge of his/her seat with impending war, emotional turmoil, and corporate scandal. Blaze was a quick read full of excitement and suspense. If you're at all like me and have a soft spot for Nicholas Sparks-meets-Stephanie Meyers-meets-J.K.Rowling novels, this is the book for you!

I enjoyed this book. Paranormal books are always fun and great to read. The beginning was a little bit slow but once the story started flowing it was very good.! I was given an arc copy via NG in exchange of an honest review.

This is the 11th installment in the Dark King series by Donna Grant. I highly recommend that you read the previous books before starting this book as they all tie together on one main story arc. Anson is a dragon king that has been sent to London to try to make bring down an enemy company, and hopefully have help to do it. Devon is the person they ask for help to bring them down. She works for the tech company and is higher ranking. She is thought to be someone they will think is trustworthy. Little do either of them know that this company already had it's own plans for her! I loved Anson! The way he is described and just his emotions towards humans in general are all completely understandable! I like how his past is gone into and explains not only his original actions but then explains his later decisions. Devon is also a likable character and you feel for her from the start. Especially when you find out what happened to her as a teen. Throw them together? Explosive chemistry! The fact that they are both so protective of each other, especially Devon after not even knowing about their world and being thrown into it. And then you have more pieces of the puzzle of Ulrik? Add in some characters from not only other books in this series but from one of her other series and you have a must read book. I loved every step of the journey in this book! I can't wait for the next installment!
