Damon (The Protectors Series) Book #1

This was the first book in the Protectors Series and I really liked it. The first part of the book was the setting up of how vampires were now openly out in society and how they interacted with humans.

The main characters were interesting and the storyline kept my attention. There was great chemistry between the characters and their connection wasn't over the top or forced.

I definitely enjoyed this story and will read more in this series.

I really liked this book and I thought the characters were likeable. I loved the way they had attitudes and sassy words at each other. It was written very well. It was full of action and adventure. I wouldn't mind having one of those hot warrior vamps protecting my back side!! I am a new fan of Teresa Gabelman and I am looking forward to reading the rest of "The Protectors Series".

I really enjoyed the story line. Loved that the good guys won. Also liked the myth ending answers. It really sucks (no pun intended) when all legends of how vamps mate and change are the same in each book. I enjoy the variety of the characters and how they interact with man/vampire. I would tell all my friends to check out this story and author. Looks forward to the rest of the series.

Teresa Gabelman's 'The Protectors' series is FANTASTIC!!!! These books are definitely meant for mature readers over 18. Terrific storylines, well-developed, witty and smart characters, deliciously steamy sex scenes. Really well written!

I got this book by chance and WOW!!! The characters are very believable and well described without being boring. I was hooked by the first paragraph.
Each character is critical and the banter between some of them will have you laughing. Other times you will be trying to read fast to find out what happens next.
If only these Protectors were real.... I would have to find a reason for their services!!!!!

Damon and Nicole are the first to become mated as the VC warrior fights his feeling only to be hopelessly in love with a beautiful human . The struggles and mysterious half breed making going on brings Nicole,a social worker and Damon a Vampire Warrior into each other's lives. Watch the sparks fly in this action, romance that will leave you in awhile.

This was a good story, nothing fancy or really involved but a nice vamp romance with the requisite bad guy and all. I look forward to reading more in the series. It was well written and went smooth and fast with no boring parts or overdone sex scenes.

Damon is one of the Vampire Warriors. Nicole is a social worker. They are sent to the warriors to start their self defense training. Someone is selling vampire children's blood. Nicole has made some enemies and someone has put a contract out on her. Damon is assigned to protect her but quickly realizes she's his mate.
Great story and lovable characters.

I loved this book, and the entire series to date! Strong warriors, strong heroine, and a storyline that is believable. Teresa Gableman does a good job of world and character building and leaving you ready to delve into the rest of the warriors lives.

Love a hot Vampire! Watching Damon fight the bond with Nicole was actually fun. Nicole's big heart just reels him in. When you have big bad Vamps working to protect children it is sexy. So glad they took care of the bad guy.This is my 1st book by Teresa Gabelman. It won't be my last. I have to read Jared's book. ... Pam James.

I stumbled on the series by accident. I love this type of book. Hot warriors in this case they are vampires. They are a tight group of guys who protect humans from dangerous vampires. Although they are lethal warriors them selves they are the good guys. If you like paranormal romance your going to love this

Nicole was a social worker and she makes sure all the kids vampire and human alike. Damon and his brothers are there to help but falling in love and then having to try to save her life was not what they wants but what they got

This story for me just seemed pretty generic, predictable and had no surprises really. I found it OK, but as I had just finished the Blood and Roses Series, this was a real come down and didn't really excite me too much.
As it's had such good reviews though I will try the next one just to see how it goes.

Not bad at all. Little misunderstandings here and there, the H huge commitment issues but it explained in the end. Really enjoyed h, strong I her beliefs to help the children. Good read and will continue with the next one.

Just re-read this after reading book #6. These books have a good plot with plenty of action and sexy alphas. The best part is the main character of each book finds resolution so you are not kept hanging. The books that follow tell the story a different warrior and all are good. In fact they get better each time.

I enjoy books that let me escape the everyday issues in life. This book did the trick. There was humor, intrigue, good "fiction" and interesting characters. Although vampire books are usually not high on my list of "must reads", I found this to be an exception. I'm anxious to read Book #2.

Vamp resists human until he has to save her. Nicole, a social worker helps children vamps get adopted by humans. Only some humans do it for the money they can make selling the kids' blood. Nicole and her protector, Damon work at discerning who is behind this heinous crime and their attraction for one another. Sweet!

Interesting new world the author created. It's a good old paranormal romance with strong warrior vampires. I really loved Nicole. I wish the villain part of the story was a little stronger but we'll see where it goes with the rest of series.

I have found my new favorite author!! This book is wonderfully written. The characters are great and the story is fun. It was a book I just could not put down. I really like the twist of the vampires being out in the open and not hiding from the human population like they do in so many other books.

Damon's role is responsible and serious. Nicole is his opposite, but in a way, her sense of commitment and devotion to the orphans she cares for is very touching! I really liked this book. I had read it a while back but appreciated it better now. This storyline keeps you wanting for more. Great writing from Ms. Gabelman.

I did enjoy this book. The vampire angle was interesting and I loved Nicole's attitude towards her job, the kids and Damon. The world created felt real, and I enjoyed the energy between Nicole and Damon. If you're looking for a supernatural story with some sexy times and lots of angst, then this is worth a shot.

When I first started reading this, I thought it was dragging a little but by the time I finished, I didn't want it to end! I absolutely loved this story. I'm heading to the next shortly and hope it lives up the first one.

A good first impression is made within the first seven seconds of meeting someone. Most of us use this principle with everything else in our lives. If a book does not create a good first impression or hold my attention, it will not be finished. Damon grabbed my attention from the start and kept it throughout the wee hours of the night.

Damon DeMasters, Crimson Rush, The Vampire Warrior, and fighting for children...what more could you ask for? Being an avid fan of the Twilight Saga, at first I thought Damon was going to be "another twilightish" book, but the differences in the characters, their backgrounds, histories, etc... quickly taught me that this was a new genre to the vampire world.

The mix of the humor, romance, and action kept me intrigued throughtout the entire book.. Wonderful first book. I can't wait for the next to come out.. Thank you for the journey into the Protector Series!

What a fun, easy read! I loved the characters and the banter between them. Ms. Gabelman has created an interesting twist to the vampire/ human interaction and her characters bring you into the "Protector" series. Just what I needed....another hunky alpha BBF....<sigh>

Drugs exist in the vampire world, just like in the real wOrld. The problem is the blood has been taken from underage vampire children. Damon and the warriors ars going to find the offenders if it's the last thing they do and protect Nicole in the process.

If you love romantic and hot vampire stories, you will love this one. What a great read! Hot, hot, hot. Damon is to die for and the romance and suspense mixed in this story is terrific. Don't hesitate to purchase this one to read. I am now on to the next book about Jared. Excellent book!

Has everything. a good plot, romance without too much discripitve sex. Damon is great as a vampire and it is cute
when his soul mate is turn so she doesn't die. Very cute, with comedy, romance, it has everything. Waiting for
volume 2. the heroine is great with Damon.

Great start the series i love main characters. Stuff women and men with flaws and issues. Action was good.storyline good lots drama and build up to the next book. Keep you wanting more looking forward to seeing what going to happen next . Intense. Great dynamics with regular peps and immortals

Easy read with everything you could ask for... despite the predictability of story line and outcome, the author has a good knack of drawing you into the process and the characters. Unfortunately the next 2 books look too similar to draw me into reading them - shame...

Damon is the perfect alpha male. Callahan is a strong independent woman. Her focus is on her life and I love that she is not just waiting around for a man to make everything right. I have read this book over and over. It is a keeper.

Teresa Gableman is AWESOME!! I have always been a paranormal fan, but The Protectors Damon went above and beyond my expectations. I absorbed this from beginning to end and never got bored. Highly recommended!!
