Excellent and comprehensive guide for a great camera. I bought the Kindle edition first but found it too cumbersome to look up specific things I was trying to find out about. I am not a professional photograper in any sense but I love to take beautiful and creative pictures and this guide gives me the tools to do that and take advantage of all of the features packed into that camera.

I already had a A6000 book from another author, so when I purchased RX100M3, I was wondering if I needed a book for RX100M3. I am so glad I purchased this book! There is enough difference between the two cameras, and the author does a very nice job explaining each feature that you would not be able to easily figure out just by reading the manual or experiementing. The Kindle price is really a steal.

As a pro photographer I can recommend this book for anyone (beginner to pro) who wants to get the most out of the Sony RX100 3 camera. Well written and worth the cost. The camera is a marvel of engineering and (IMHO) the leading pocket size camera on the market today.

Mr. White once again offers us a very thorough reference for a very complex camera. This book is extremely well organized chapter by chapter to map to the controls on the camera. It can be followed with ease by someone entirely new to the art and science of making pictures with a complex camera. It also easily adapts to the needs of the experienced photographer who is adding a new tool to her kit. It can be read cover to cover, as I did, but it is completely helpful when needed for a quick look-up. Rarely have I seen a guide like this that is easily adaptable to users of different levels of expertise and for use as a both a guide and a reference.
I can recommend to anyone who owns or is planning to purchase this camera. It is written in a clear, crisp, pedantic style that is appropriate for the genre. I believe that this camera offers no other reasonable choice for documentation so we are quite fortunate that the single offering is such a good one!

This author understands how to write complete, well-organized, and simple technical information. I'm fairly informed about photography, but new to this camera. The book did not talk down to me at all. Inexperienced photographers should be thrilled to have this sort of help.

I got the Kindle edition and read it on my iPad so the photos would be better, but it's fine on a Kindle Paperwhite too.

The camera has a lot of features that seem extraneous, but make sense with the explanation this book provides. I liked the camera when I first got it. Now I absolutely love it (and I have a lot of other good cameras, including an excellent DSLR).

The RX100M3 is a wonderful, if not cheap, piece of work. Almost a point and shoot, but with image quality to die for. However, I bought it in China without a manual in English. This book more than adequately filled that gap.

This is a hard camera to learn, considered its size. you need this book to overcome what appear to be simple menus.....they are not!
A must have guide for a great camera. Sony, set your act together in at least providing basic instructions.

A good book; long and detailed. I have not finished working through it, but so far have got logical orderly, comprehensive explanations and guidance. I think such a book is essential for any one who wants to exploit all, or even most of the capabilities of this very versatile but complex camera.

Well written and clear - and since it is an ebook, easy to load on your phone or tablet, which is very ha du when traveling or being out shooting.

At one point, my camera using the 10 second self timer. I pulled this up on he phone, looked at a few sections, found the right one, and resolved the problem.
